Strength:

Easy to install and remove.

Weakness:

The adjustment is not very acurate. Had a lot of popping from the front end when turning. Speaker box weighed too much for the rear struts.

Haven't even have 30k on the struts and the are already bad. Emailed the company to find out about warranty. Told me it is my own fault for using Eibach Sportline springs. Not covered for anything with lowered springs on it. Pretty much a thanks for the money and piss off. I think I will try Tokico after the stocks go bad.

Strength:

Ease of adjustment, price.

Weakness:

Had to drill 5/16" hole in strut tower brace for access to adjuster slot on top of driver side strut. Really degrading at a rapid rate and I only have about 5500 miles on them.

I bought AGX's based on review's here and at other sources, this is the only mod that has been a disappointment to me on my car. A little back ground, my car is lowered on Eibach Pro Kit springs, 1 7/16" lower than stock and with Suspension Techniques sway bars front and rear. I drove for about 6 months with the factory struts that were brand new and put up with a bouncy ride before I put the AGX's on. The ride with setting 2 front and 4 back seemed the best compromise between firmness and comfort when I first installed them. Tried lower settings and was bouncy like stock, tried settings 3 front and 6 rear, was way firm, like driving a go cart. A couple of months of driving around with the 2 front and 4 rear setting the old bouncy ride was back, now after about 9 months I am up to 3 front and 5 rear setting and the bouncy ride is returning. I have to agree with the reviewer below me, I am sure that when these struts are around a year old I will have lost all the dampening on them, will be buying Koni yellow's then.

Strength:

Inexpensive........

Weakness:

Went soft after only a year of use and as mentioned in my summary, seemed to have lost its dampening adjustability as well. They were inexpensive and affordable, but you get what you pay for.

These shocks started out pretty good. The ride was comfortable yet firm. But after about a year of use, they got soft and seemed to have lost their adjustability. I wasn't able to feel any difference between the stiffest setting and the lowest. I would have opted for Koni's instead if I had the chance.

Strength:

Good fit, nice adjustability for matching to springs

Weakness:

Would like even more adjustability.

TireRack told me the KYB GR2 aren't designed for any lowering so I had to get the KYB AGX's. I paired them up with H&R OE sport springs for my daily driver. With these springs, I softened the strut settings to 1of4 front and 2of8 rear. The adjustability is nice to be able to match the struts to the springs better. 2/4 and 4/8 was too stiff on bumpy street roads. They were a good fit as OEM replacements, but due to the stiffer dampening, they should only be used with stiffer springs. Quality seems to be pretty good; we'll see long term.

Price Quality Improved Handling Easy to install

Weakness:

None but if i had to say anything they are not the smoothest struts out there.

These struts have been great for the money. They was a huge difference from stock. They are very easy to adjust and have improved handling over stock.

Strength:

Relatively inexpensive, easy to adjust, easy to install, no noises, wide range of adjustment, fits stock bolts perfectly but get new springs.

Weakness:

The large front macpherson struts were not packaged very well - just the strut surrounded by a sealed plastic bag inside of a cardboard box with no styrofoam or padding.

Easy to install and perfect fit the stock mounts. There is a high range of adjustability 1-4 in the front and 1-8 in the back. For daily driving I have the fronts at 2 and the rears at 5, and this is still significantly stiffer than stock - on a par with Tokico HP blue shocks. Highest settings too stiff for the street - I only use that at the circuit. No need to remove wheels to adjust settings, except for the rear you will need to know instinctively which way to turn the dial since you must reach underneath your car behind the wheel where you cannot see. Used them with whiteline springs for a 2" drop.

Strength:

Affordable alternative to 'true coilovers' if you wanna pair these up with lowering springs. Ajustable for street to strip in a matter of seconds.

Weakness:

none so far.

I've had these on for a little over a month with Tein S Tech lowering springs and so far, they're great! It put my car at the perfect height (2.1" drop in the front and 1.7" in the rear). The ride is very comfortable, thanks in part to the springs. I set the front on 1 and the rear on 2 and being from NJ i'm impressed, since the roads here are terrible. if you wanna do 80 on the off ramp, set these shocks on a higher setting or invest in some sway bars. Overall, thumbs up!!!

nice, sure-footed feel, even on my kick-ass 14inch steel wheels (hubcabs too) keep it looking stock as possible

Weakness:

rough ride, not a whole lot of difference in settings

very nice, been beating on them on the highest setting (speed bumps in my getto apt) with neuspeed sport springs and no degradation yet, 100x better than stock, best mod yet (got intake/header/cat/exh)
