Strength:

-smooth ride quality -great handling -quiet ride -firm -lowered perfectly

Weakness:

the only weakness I can find was the bump of the tire against the body wall when turning sharp..but then again you lower your car so thats expected.

I just got these put on a couple days ago. i was worried that either it would lower my car to much or the springs would just break or something, but so far so good. The height is perfect, I'd say it lowered my car about 1.5 inches. I know that this product doesnt require you to change struts/shocks, but I changed my struts anyway because they were bad and eventually would have to change. My car looks good and everything is just right. Unbelievable ride quality, can't be any smoother.

Strength:

Nice ride comparable if not better than stock, affordable, offers a nice drop that's not to low in my opinion.

Weakness:

NONE

I did a lot of research on these springs when paired with KYB GR2 shocks. I found mixed reviews and so decided to pair the two together to form my own opinion. The ride is great. Every body that has ridden in my car has stated that the ride is better than stock. The look is defintely better than stock. The springs are stiff but comfortable when paired with the KYB GR2s. The performance of the springs are better than stock even after installing 18 inch rims. I would suggest these spirngs to anybody that wants a set of springs that are stiffer than stock and don't want ride quality to suffer. I would definitely purchase these springs again. Others have written reviews of springs lowering their car more. I must agree that after the springs have setteled the drop is more than advertised but not by that much. My drop after a month on the springs and shocks are at 1.4 inches front and back. I like these better than the Eibach Sportlines paired with Tokico Blues(non adjustable) shocks. I have no problems with my alignment or with getting my car on the alignment ramp even with 18s. I don't have any problems with wheel clearance, but I did roll my rear fenders. I also don't need a camber kit with this drop front or rear. My specs aren't 0, but I don't have uneven tire wear with this setup.

Strength:

Handles awsome with tokico illuminas. Except for the rubbing, everything about the car is better, cornering, launch, braking. Car feels much more stable at speed on the highway, I recommend the Jackie Robinson parkway ;)

Weakness:

Slammed it WAY too low. Crunching sounds on hard turns. Eibach has bullsh*t warrenty claim rules, which BTW were not clearly stated.

All I wanted to do was SLIGHTLY drop my car. Instead it slammed down 3 INCHES. With 205/45/16 wheels I am having fender clearance issues. Whenever I take a hard turn the wheel hits the fender, especially when I hit a bump, which we have alot of here in NYC. I called Eibach and they said I should take them out and send them back all at MY OWN expense!!! And WTF am I suspossed to do until I get them back. It's my daily driver. Also most allignment shops wont touch my car now.

Easy install. Very affordable springs

Weakness:

Do not last long and will sag and become soft at approx one year of use.

Vehicle always sat uneven after install. Swapped springs left to right and car sat uneven the opposite way telling me that the springs were uneven and not due to pre load or the install. Springs were removed and all were same height out of vehicle telling me that there are some product issues with spring quality and spring rates. After having these springs approx 1 year and 5000 miles the car has began to sag and is now 3 inches lower than the 1 inch advertised height by Eibach. Car has become much more softer and is now softer than stock. I bottom out on almost anything larger than a 1/2 inch bump. Springs were great for the first 6 months of use.

Strength:

Complete transformation of handling Very impressive ride and comfort Designed for use with stock dampers

Weakness:

Make sure you have your camber/toe-in adjusted after the change

Initially I expected some improvement to the handling and turn-in on my S4. The S4s are regarded as being a little soft and rolly as stock. I did fear that the uprated springs might overstretch the OE dampers a bit and the ride would be choppy but I thought I'd try and see what happened. Well, what actually happened was surprising: The handling has been utterly transformed, simple as that. The turn-in is sharper and much more consistent and the communication with the road is far far better. It feels like a totally different car- I can't believe I nearly didn't bother with this upgrade! At the rear, things are sufficiently stiff and communicative that exloitable understeer is an option. Surprisingly, the ride and comfort is actually better than before. The springs seem to somehow work better with the stock dampers than the original springs and the whole car feels compliant and controlled and well damped. The car sits an inch or so lower which looks cool, although that was not high on my list of priorities. The car doesn't blast through its newly reduced travel too quickly but it is evident that big bumps feel firmer. Small bumps actually seem to be better absorbed than before. NB I had the 4wheel alignment done after the springs were installed. How much this improved the handling as opposed to the springs is hard to tell but the overall effect has been wonderful. Anyone with a B5 S4 should make this upgrade the very first thing they do.

I posted on this site when i first installed these springs and i take back everything i said. Strength:

Smooth ride with enhanced performance. YOU DO NOT HAVE TO CHANGE STOCK STRUTS UNLIKE OTHER SPRINGS.

Weakness:

None yet.

These springs are great. Smooth ride, no noise, increased performance. Nice ride height. I'm not sure why the reviewers below compare the Eibach Pro Kit with the skunk line of springs? Are you guys supid? different ride height and different application. The Eibach's lower car an inch to inch and a half, the skunks are two inches. The Eibachs are desinged to work around stock struts, the Skunks ARE NOT. NO MATTER WHAT THEIR WEBSITE MAY SAY!!! Two inches is two much for stock struts. Skunk2 are great springs but don't compare to the Eibachs. Two different spring rates and two different drops.

A nice drop that will keep your wheel wells safe while providing plenty of stability.

Weakness:

The front springs did not seem to lower my car the advertised 1.6."

My Eibach Pro-Kit coils sit on a set of KYB GR-2 Gas Struts and enhance my Toyota Solara with a much more aggressive stance. I have only had them installed for a day but I can already feel the dramatic decrease in roll when taking a sharp line. I can't wait to take these auto x.
