Strength:

Got my car a little lower than stock heigh.

Weakness:

Product doesn't provide advertised drop for my car.

I am not at all happy with these springs or Intrax. Intrax advertises these springs to provide a 1.6"F/1.5"R drop for my car and I only achieved a 1" drop all around. I will be looking to replace these springs within the next month with Eibach.

Strength:

-No more body roll -Very aggressive stance -Handles soooo much better

Weakness:

-A little too low (put on some Koni adjustable struts and raise it up a quarter inch) -They make a little bit of noise when you come to a stop

I was skeptical about buying Intrax springs instead of Eibachs but I'm glad I bought the Intrax. They ride a little low (1.5 inches off the ground in the front) but the car handles so much better. Combine these with front and rear strut tower bars and your car will handle a lot better. I would recommend putting on a lower profile tire than stock because if you hit a hard bump at over 70 mph the tired can rub the inside of the fenderwell. Its no big deal but it gets annoying.

Model Reviewed: Tommotorsport coilovers/ 97 Tercel

Strength:

Easy to install, enough bushings to allow proper noise insulation. Pretty quiet so far, good 5 years warranty on the coilovers. Ride is more precise, less roll during high speed turns. Cheap price.

Weakness:

Ride on uneven pavement is to "bouncy", feels like the rear coilovers springs are way to much stiff for the rear shock absorbers capacity to dampen the oscillation. Assembly instructions were not very well illustrated and to specific for Hondas... Lets see how they like Canadian Winter during the next months...

I got these coilovers and did the installation by myself. I replaced the originals shocks for Monroe Sensatrac and the coil springs for Tommotorsport coilovers. Rear end installation was pretty easy, only had to get washers for the lower strut stopper. (not included) Front installation was a little bite more tricky because i had to machine grind my replacements struts to allow the sleeves to fit over.

Strength:

Good drop, nice warrenty, decent ride

Weakness:

nothing, they did what Intrax said they would

The intrax springs gave my Z a much needed drop. The ride was exactly what I expected. It was stiff, yet its was still a great daily driver.

Strength:

Better cornering, and overall handling. Nice 2 inch drop.

Weakness:

car scrapes when I hit speed bumps or drive on bumpy roads.

Car looks great lowerd up to two inches. Ride is nice except for how bouncey it is. Improved acceleration performance, braking and cornering.(in my car) Springs could be a bit stiffer.

Strength:

With my 17" Zenettis race chrome wheels with 235/40/17 avon tires it makes the car look like a dime, makes you aroused just looking at it. They had the lowest drop, and the handling has increased at least by 30%.

Weakness:

Really bouncy, but i'm still using my factory shocks, so as soon as they're available for my car i'm getting them.

For my car i would by it again the ride is lovely, and it makes the car look incredible. Yeah its a little bouncy but that'll change with the after market shocks. I've had people come up to me throwing out compliments. I would recommened it to anyone with a galant.

Model Reviewed: 96 miata

Strength:

Nice drop in the front.

Weakness:

Dropped the rear end too much. I have absolutely no suspension travel. Not possible to use for any vehicle that is going to be driven. Do not buy these springs. There are better springs out there.

I have had a terrible experience with Intrax springs. I am giving this rating so other people don't make the same mistake that I did. It isn't possible to drive anywhere without hitting the bump stops. The front end is fine, except for being a little bouncy, but with aftermarket shocks this isn't a problem. The rear is where all the problems are. Miata's have very little suspension travel stock. You have absolutely none with these springs. If you only want to show your car, these might be for you, but for serious racers who can't afford coilovers, choose another brand.

Similar Products Used:

I would recommend FM springs, Racing beat, Jackson Racing, or Eibach springs for a miata application.
