may be I just got a bad set but my springs did not settle even.

Do not buy these springs, my car looked good when I first installed them. But the springs on the drivers side settled more than the ones on the passenger side and now my car sits 3/4" lower on one side & looks stupid. I am going to switch them out with eibachs. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

Strength:

The Jamex Sportline lit dropped the ride height 60mm from the cars previous 25-30mm. The handeling is vastly improved and the looks a lot better.

Weakness:

On a very uneven surface the car has to be driven slowly as the ride can be very harsh due to the shocks and springs stiffness. If you are constantly on bumpy and uneven roads a less stiff kit might be better suited. Another problem is some trolly jacks have problems getting underneith to the jacking points. in this case you have to lift the arch up to get enough clearence to get the jack under.

This kit is good on smooth tarmarc surfaces and offers superb handling. Visually the looks better due to the 60mm drop in ride height. On constant bumpy & uneven surfaces a friend of mine found that cracking around the struts can occur due to constant use on harsh surfaces. But if the car is solid enough then this kit should be fine. My only other point is I should add is I thought the package was a bit expensive for a vauxhall nova.

Model Reviewed: 1985 SAAB spg turbo

Strength:

low price , looks good, rides softer than stock yet handles much better.

Weakness:

rear end still rides a little high for my tastes.

I think the Jamex springs are a great compromise between good handling and a nice ride.Make sure you replace the old shocks or you will bottom and handling will suffer.

SAAB handling kit.......that I had previously(springs and sway bars)was a tad taller and you could feel every expansion joint in the road.

Model Reviewed: 95 Mustang

Strength:

It lowered the car 2" which really made the car look better and it isn't nearly as stiff as the BBK stuff I had in the car before. I am turning the fastest autocross times with this suspension of any mustang I run against.

Weakness:

Rear-end bottoms out sometimes. (Price you pay for being low I guess)

I would recommend it to people that don't want to loose all the factory ride of their car but still want it to handle better and be lower.
If you are looking for zero body roll and racecar handling, but something stiffer.

BBK is way stiffer than the Jamex.
