Strength:

Progressive Rate Spring quality. Improved Handling and gave my car the look i wanted. Ride Quality was not totally sacrificed, same quality as any other progressive rate spring.

Weakness:

I would only recomend the spring to someone who wants the slammed look. They will take the car down gradually. Make sure you look at all springs offered by ST befor purchasing so you get the look you want.

Springs were worth the money spent. Not as smooth as my coilovers on new car but if i wanted that quality i would have bought them. I would recomend them to anyone who knows what to look for in a spring.

Similar Products Used:

Eibach, H&R. Eibach did'nt have the drop i was looking for, H&R would not seat right w/out cutting of bumpstops.

Strength:

Lowers the car to a perfect, aggressive stance. Really stands out when compare to other camaros. My third gen camaro really has the kind of stance that creates a great, high performance look and not to mention the huge benefits to handling. Installation took around a day and was well worth the effort. also are powdercoated to look great and last forever.

Weakness:

none what so ever. Cheap, look cool, may car look great, last forever, easy to install, cant get much better than that!

Makes to car stand out and adds a tremendous amount of performance gains!!
well worth it.

Strength:

Gives a good lowered look.

Weakness:

Springs do ride rougher than stock which is to be expected and really isn't all bad on the average. NY streets do not help, though. My big problem is that the suspension bottoms a lot. My wife likes to sit in the back seat w/the baby at times, but she can't as much now since the car hits bottom much more often then before. The stock suspension would just "low ride/sag" with her in the rear and bottom out here and there. But, with these springs, the top of the tire hides a little in the wheel well and bottoms out even on slight dips in the road. Now, to be honest, my wife is heavy, at around 360lbs. So maybe she is the problem...car actually sat on the ground with her and another girl in the back, but thats another issue!

Go for it as long as you have a light girl!

Strength:

slightly lowwer than stock-(1.5)drop.still great ride -not too harsh.works well with the GEOS(already great)handling.the car has 4 new monre(sensatrac)struts-which are good to buy at the same time(monroe work very well-better than stock)

Weakness:

none-they work very well-(you will always have to deal with the stiffer ride)

this company produces some of the finest products that are on the market-and the springs are very well done-BUY THEM FOR YOUR BABY-!

Similar Products Used:

sprint,intrax-all springs are close(it depends on the drop 1inch-2.5inchs)soft to stiff-there are no good "cheep springs".always look at who uses them, and stick with a name brand(also remember anyone can produce a bad spring-defects do happen!

Strength:

Incredible handling!! Stock ride and handling were good to start with, but these springs made a night and day difference. I dropped my car 2.5" in the front, and 2.25" in the rear. It gave me the look I wanted, and the handling I desired.

Weakness:

Ride quality was a bit 'bouncey' during normal driving conditions. Rough roads can be a nightmare as you feel the bumps a lot more.

If you're concidering these springs, they are a good buy. They offer a great choice in lowering options, plus they're ride quality is second to none. A good buy, hands down.

Eibach. Eibach didn't have the drop I wanted, ontop of that I didn't find them to be worth the big chunk of change.

Strength:

The springs gave me the lowered look I was desperately needing. The handling was a bit rough in comparison to others, but for the price and the aesthetic gain it was well worth it. They also gave me a better cornering ability, and handling.

Weakness:

The ride is not as good as stock springs.

I would recommend these springs to anyone who is willing to lose a little in order to gain a lot. Although you lack in the ride situation, everything else is definitley satisfactory.

Strength:

There was nothing that I liked about these springs! They were horrible!

Weakness:

They were only supposed to lower my car 1.3 inches yet they actually lowered it over 2 inches. They sagged soo bad that the drivers side of my car was over 1/2 an inch lower than the passanger side. They ride was ok for the first week then it deteriorated fast. I left these springs in for about a month until I had to switch them out.

I would never recommend these springs to anyone. I used them with KYB AGX shocks and they still sagged and handled horribly. After less than a month I switched them out for a set of Eibach Pro Kit springs. It was evident how much the Suspension Techniques springs sagged because they were supossed to lower my car 1.3 inches (like the Eibachs actually did) but these springs let my car sag much lower. A proper alignment was impossible to achieve because of how much lower the driver's side was then the passanger side. These springs are not even worth the cheap price I paid for them. Buyer beware, these springs are bad news! If I could rate them zero stars I would!

Ground Control Coilovers, H&R Race Springs, and Eibach Pro Kit Springs. All of these springs are a way better choice. They a cost more, but the price is worth it.

Strength:

Got 1.5 inch lowering springs for my Z. Coupled with stiffer tokico shocks, suspension techniques sway bars, and strut tower braces, it made my car handle like an absolute dream. These springs help give me the control I need to carry major speed into corners. Helped turn my car into one of the best handling cars I have ever driven.

Weakness:

They ride a little stiff, but are actually quite comfortable considering the huge performance gain

I would recommend it because there are no real downsides and the performance gain is very commendable

Strength:

I found that these springs were a great improvement over stock, stiffer spring rate, lower ride height, and most importantly; much better overall handling.

Weakness:

I don't really have anything to complain about, except i was looking for a little stiffer ride, lowering shocks should take care of that.

My overall impression of my Speed Tech springs is good. I have had them on for 3 months now and I am very happy. i took about two weeks after having them installed to really feel the difference in ride quality, these springs help limit body roll, give a great lowered stance, and are a good start for improving your cars handling. I would recommend these springs to anyone.
