Strength:

Strong material
Good looking
Good solid fit

Weakness:

-Didn't fit, bent my stock hood!
-Way too expensive... something that costs 300% more than anything like it better perform that much better!

Never thought a strut brace would be tough to install; I didn't even think it fit at first. I guess tighter is better. Finally got the brace on and tightened everything down to spec, then tried to close my hood. Didn't close, bent my hood. Comptech must have fitted the brace with a different hood. I paid nearly $300 for a STRUT BRACE and bent my thousand dollar OEM hood. This was the most expensive strut brace on the market and i bought it thinking it was the best; i clearly was fooled. I feel sick to even look at my hood every day because of the rippling reflections i now see.

Strength:

Improved vehicle tracking in turns. Steering more responsive to driver input.

Weakness:

None - see review and you decide.

Car is more responsive to input from steering wheel. Front wheel tracks better that stock with steering input during quick cornering. In other words - car goes where you point it with more agility and response from the wheel. I also have the Comptech rear sway bar which was installed first. I would advise that if you have the rear sway you don't necessarily need the strut tower brace. I found that when I added the brace it actually decreased the tight feel the steering wheel has from stock bar. Wheel became more responsive but in my opinion it also has a "softer" feel. It is now easier to make short turns with one hand.

Strength:

Stronger. Looks better. Improves handling.

Weakness:

Price if bought brand new.

Much better than stock in both performance and looks. Red Billet color looks amazing under the hood. Very sturdy and well built. Very Noticable difference in the turns, car feels much sturdier and stiff and as a result car becomes easier to control.
