DC Sports Strut Tower Bars Swaybars/Braces

DC Sports Strut Tower Bars Swaybars/Braces

DESCRIPTION

Bolt it in and reduce chassis flex-it's as easy as that. The DC Sports Strut Tower Bar is designed to tie the two strut towers together together as a single solid unit and in doing so reduce flex and increase traction to the front wheels.

The whole thing!

This is the worse strut bar I have ever seen and tried. I can bend it with my hands! If you want a real bar go Carbing or Benen!

Strength:

- Awsome Look - Made a huge difference coming from stock - Ooohing sound when you open your hood

Weakness:

- There might be possible better suspension strut bars out there.

Suspension : My car had no suspension modifications on it when I put the Dc Sports Strut Bar on it. After I EASLY installed it, I Automaticly felt a huge differnece in turning, cornering, ect. While im sure there are much better ones out there but accessibility, looks, and color aren't easy to find. Looks: This strut bar looks amazing. Dc Logo right on it and a clean look to it. Overall: Im impressed with both the suspension and most deff. the looks. I would recommend this to anyone. Im sure thare are better suspension sturt bars out there but for style and suspension this is probably the best idea.

Strength:

looks nice supposedly tightens up car, better steering response

Weakness:

got stained with oil! dont really know, or care, got mine w/car

When i bought my car, the DC bar came with it. Along with tokico all around, it makes for better handling (compared to stock). The opposite front end does tend to follow a little, but this probably has nothing to do with the strut bar, but with the overall chassis stiffness of the car. Looks nice, but pricey. I have seen these bars go for up to 120 apeice. I plan on replacing with a spoon bar. Dont look so nice, but who cares?

Strength:

Looks cool, but so does wind ripples in the water.

Weakness:

have the rigidity of toothpicks, they actually bend when you push on them.

Wow, I just cannot believe how crappy these things are. They look cool, but that is the extent of it. Theses strut bars have the rigidity of an aluminum can, I have never seen a bar bend so much. It really doesn''t even take common sense with this product, just look at the design. Aluminum-which is light wieght and not bad, but they took the rigidness out when they put those circles in. Simple goemetry tells you that a circle is not the strongest structure. But to implement them into a product that is supposed to be rigid. The price is ridiculous considering that with an agressive driving style these bars actually deform. you could probably put a 20.00 strut bar on your car and get better performance out of it. Go with spoon, the qaulity is much better.

Strength:

Weakness:

flex, might as well not to use anything for strut bar...

sucks, only looks good, but doesn''t do its job right, it flexes if you push down on it, which shouldn''t happen for a strut bar, i bought a $40 generic bar and it worked a lot better, for those who are fooling yourselves, just wasting your money...

Strength:

Does as advertised, braces the rear LCAs and slight improvement on handling. Looks beautiful.

Weakness:

You can get a Neuspeed bar for cheaper, and it probably even performs a little better. Price has never been DC''s strongsuit.

I got the rear lower tie bar in anodized blue. Coupled with my front upper strut bar, I felt a slight difference. The back does feel a little tighter and more confident in turns. But why did we really choose DC? It looks awesome.

Strength:

The cornering is unbelievable with this. My suspension has become much stiffer. And the DC Sports logo and the polish finish looks really nice.

Weakness:

None

I have the front strut bar, and ever since I have put it on the cornering is much better on my Integra. I noticed the difference immediately from not having it on my car, and with it.

Model Reviewed: 1996 Integra RS

Strength:

-Looks great both under hood and in trunk.
-Easy to keep clean.
-Product does what it claims.

Weakness:

Price.

I have a 96' Integra RS, which did not include some of the nicer suspension parts that the GS-R did. The rear upper strut bar made a NIGHT AND DAY difference in this particular car; the back end would swim around, the addition of the rear bar definitely helped out!
The front bar does in fact keep the tires a bit more firmly planted to the road (less wheel hop on strong starts.)
I would definitely recommend the rear bar, and the front bar because it looks nice (and well, it does the job!)
Makes the RS model much more fun to drive!
