from modern chevy Year / Model Reviewed: 2007 Aveo LT sedan Summary: This is a tight little car with lots of features. Odd mix though--it seems Chevy thought out the design part pretty well, but missed some basic stuff in the process. For example, I have power locks but there is no power lock button in the car. So, to lock all the doors at once, you reach over and push down the lock on the drivers door. This sends a signal to lock the other 3 doors too. Strange. Also, the cupholders are flimsy and placed in a bad spot---too close to the a/c controls.
Small and tall on the outside, large on the inside. Sounds like a Chevy commercial but it is true. Looks kinda funny on the outside cause it is so small, especially when you find your aveo parked beside some road hog suv.
Handles well on a daily basis. Has no problem running 85 mph on the freeway. Does get pushed around quite a bit on windy days---that is sketchy.
Gas mileage is rough though. For this class of car, it should be a lot better. Chevy has much bigger cars that put up the same numbers as this little fella. Whats up?? Strengths: nice interior with the leatherette package, stereo is tight (6 speakers 180 watts, mp3 aux input), handles well, steering wheel radio controls, decent power, like the grill its tight, big trunk Weaknesses: gas mileage should be a lot better, no power lock button, cup holders are a joke, cheap sun visors
