Review 2 of 123

Summary:
Considering the size, price range and type of car it is Great. First of all if someone is going to buy this car you have to realize that its not made to be a sports car to hold 5 250lbs football players. Its made to go from A-B, cheaply and reliably and comfortable. With these considerations this car is great. In this car I've beat civics, neons, cavilleris, sunfires and any saturn racing with stock parts.

Strengths:
Gas milage 40-65mpg, Good speed considering 93hp, Comfy, JUST AMAZING IN EVERY WAY

Weaknesses:
No tachometer

Similar Products Used:
93 Grand am, 94 Hustler, 98 Sienna, 94 Astro Van, 01 Celica

Review 3 of 123

Price Paid:  $145000.00 from Yonge Lawrence Toyot

Year / Model Reviewed:
1999 Tercel CE automatic

Summary:
I really love the Tercel--I''''''''m glad I got it under the wire--''''''''99 is the last model year and I wouldn''''''''t be caught dead in an Echo. It is really reliable in all weather, and is phenomenal on gas. I once drove from Toronto to Detroit, however, and my tush was a-hurtin''''''''. But let''''''''s face it, the Tercel was never really meant to be a long-haul highway car. I drive 33km each way to work every day and the tercel is really the ideal commuter car. I plan to keep it running for many more years--it only has 60,000 km on it after almost 3 years.

Strengths:
Always starts, very reliable, easy to drive, especially in city traffic

Weaknesses:
-a bit under-powered esp. on merging onto a highway -lousy stock speakers and radio -not the most comfortable seats

Similar Products Used:
1990 Tercel

Review 4 of 123

Summary:
This car sucks. It really does, it's very small so it's not a family car, it's slow so it's not sporty. And it vibrates . The car started on fire two days after I bought it and killed my kid.

Strengths:
It has good handling. Comes with 4 tires and a steering wheel.

Weaknesses:
It's small, slow, chubby and ugly. Comes with roaches.

Similar Products Used:
Hyundai Accent

Review 5 of 123

Year / Model Reviewed:
1999 Tercel

Summary:
I paid $12,800 in 1999 and I think is worth the money. I recommend it to anyone that is interested in economy and service.

Strengths:
Very economical and it has a great performance for a 1.5DOHC motor. Because it's Toyota you never have to take it to the shop. My father has a 1995 model and it is in a great condition. It has lot of cup holders also.

Weaknesses:
It is noisy on the inside and the suspension is a piece of crap. Not a lot of extras like power windows or sunroof.

Similar Products Used:
Honda Civic, a great product but very expensive and not the same fuel economy.
