2008 Saturn ASTRA - Overview

The 2008 ASTRA is a 2 or 4-door, 5-passenger family coupe, or family sedan, available in 3 trims, ranging from the XE Sedan to the XR Coupe. The Saturn ASTRA has a 5-speed manual transmission, 1.8-liter I4, 138-horsepower engine, and is all-new for 2008. Already a hit in Europe, GM brings the ASTRA to the U.S. as the new small car for Saturn. Minor modifications were needed for the U.S. market including updates to the front and rear fascias to meet U.S. bumper standards. The styling has been revised to include Saturn styling cues such as the bright grille bar with Saturn logo and a bright trim bar on the rear.
