Strength:

Everything mentioned above plus: large trunk that can easily hold two sets of golf clubs plus carts.

Weakness:

Stereo is disappointing - no comparison to my wife''s Volvo system. Passenger seat seems too low - complaints from my wife (an 8 way passenger seat would be ideal). Gas mileage is disappointing, below expectations - there is no way I get 29 miles/gal on the highway as advertised. Cup holder in front are just a little on the small side.

Acura TL S-type is everything you would expect it to be - fast (260 hp), reliable (nothing gone wrong in 6 months), stable (particularly at high speeds) comfortable (drivers seat at least), and affordable (best value in a luxury car). I also think it is a beautiful design, although this is not shared by other reviewers (in the eyes of the beholder). The S-type is "hot" with teenagers, as I found out from my 18 year old son (who is not allowed to drive it, another story).

260hp, nice looks, luxury, navi system, plenty of room for a big fella like myself.

Weakness:

stiff ride, bose sound system is week.

This car rocks. I bought it for my wife, and this car is more than what she needs. The power is enough to make me smile, but to scare me when she is driving. The car has so many options, its fun as hell to drive

Strength:

Great power, good roadability. Just a fine overall car.

Weakness:

Interior wind noise. Factory rep say''s normal, but takes some of the fun out of driving it. Factory rep said they have new side mirrors to reduce noise, but that doesn''t help me. I know Acura (Honda) can do better and correct the problem.

I enjoy driving this car. Very quick. Great to drive on the highway or around town in traffic.

Strength:

- Extremely fast - Great looks - inside and out - Smooth acceleration - Fantastic interior design - Xenon lights look great - Quality - backed by Honda - Great fun to drive

Weakness:

- Sound system is good, but not excellent - Exterior design can be a little bit more exciting

Great car - fantastic feeling driving it - smooth, strong acceleration, fast and fun. 260 HP beat any sedan in that price range and even much more expensive ones.

Strength:

The amount of features included with this luxury car. Acura offers only two options for the TL; the navigation system and or the Type S. Everything else is included such as in dash 6 disc cd changer which is extra for Lexus. And speaking of the navigation system, I suggest getting it if it''s in your budget. It''s $2000 more, but you will definitly find it''s worth the money. I travel a lot for work and I''ve used it many times since I''ve had the car. Plus you can still get the TL w/ the navigation all for under $30,000 if you negotiate.

Weakness:

As you will see and possibly hear, the sound system is not that great. Many people told me it''s is not good, but I didn''t understand why so I''ll briefly explain. The sound is very clear, you can hear every instrument in a song, but the system just doesn''t get loud enough. However, if you''re not into music like some people, then you won''t notice. In other words, that weakness is very small compared to it''s many strengths.

Best luxury sports sedan in the market! I did a lot of homework before selection the 3.2TL. I test drove many cars including the Lexus ES300, Infinity I30 and Nissan Maxima but after considering the amount of features you get along with the quality, I had to get the TL. Smooth ride, fast, comfortable and luxurious. I would suggest this car for anyone who is an entry level luxury new car buyer like myself.

Model Reviewed: /3.2 TL S-type

Strength:

Excellent engine and transmission Pleasing exhaust note comfortable seats nice sound system intuitive controls no better value for performance/luxury mix

Weakness:

Ride suffers a little due to stiffer suspension and lower profile tires In-dash CD player seems to be a little tempermental - it will not always accept discs (maybe it doesn''t like my music?)

I almost purchased a 3.2TL for $28K but decided that the extra power, 17"wheels, and stability control were worth an extra $2300. Thus far I have not been disappointed with my decision. The power delivery and management with the five speed tip is incredibly smooth. I am amazed at the almost immediate torque and the low RPMs at highway speeds (70mph 2000. The car is not quite as refined as the lexus but is far more fun to drive. I am looking forward to more driving so I can give a more complete review. I have only put 150 miles on the car and am waiting eagerly for the end of the break-in period.

Great car for money, value pack sedan. Why? is BMW 330 compared to this acura? to this car, BMW costs sooo much more with less than half of wut acura has. This car has dragon-bred engine with 260 babies. Seats are more comfy than Jimmy Hendrick''s Bentley. So sporty and beautiful, and quality and reliable tooo!

Strength:

Everything you want in a sports sedan at a great value.

Weakness:

Poor stereo. Bose sounds like crap in the car. Cup holder is slightly in the way when trying to use sportsshift. The extremely small glove compartment is annoying. Could use more headroom...I''m 6''2" and my hair touches the top even with seats at lowest position. Seat could also be slightly more comfortable.

Terrific car! Very fast, very smooth, and a great value. The stereo could use some more power.

Cold air on passengers feet!

Has anyone experienced a cold draft coming in around the passengers feet on the 3.2TL?? Dealer checked and found a cold draft on my vehicle. They took an identical brand new 3.2 out and same result. Dealer has had one other complaint. Neither Dealer or Acura have a solution!

Strength:

Beautiful understated style. Quiet, powerful 225hp Vtech engine. Very solid feel. Comfortable seats, roomy. Quality all around. Fully loaded is standard. Quiet ride.

Weakness:

Need better quality paint. Seats are not all leather, mixed with vinyl. No height adjustable front passenger seat. Find the 16 inch tires too narrow and small, shoulda been wider and 17 inch. No adjustable rear seat head rests. Steering wheel is not telescopic.

Bought a preowned 2000 3.2 TL. Fantastic car! Could not have gotten a better car for the dollar. Considered Volvo S70, BMW 3 series, Infiniti I30t, none could match the Acura in terms of value per dollar on power, features, quality, and reliability.
