acura 3.2 tl
Strength:
strong engine ,silky smooth transmission ,great interior with quality materials.
Weakness:
excessive road noise this is an excellent car that blends sporty driving and handling with luxury. Similar Products Used: test drove a lexus es3oo and felt it did not perform as well also tested a chrysler 300m but was worried of dependability. |

Strength:
Smooth and powerful acceleration, good handling, great comfort and amenities (almost everything is standard!!), exterior and interior styling. Terrific value!
Weakness:
The right wiper blade won't lift, so it's hard to clean the windshield. Tends to guzzle lots of premium gas. Unusual for Japanese vehicles, this car drives more like a German sports sedan, with similar road feel and noise. This is a good thing. Strength:
Good value. Tight ride. Smooth linear accelaration from idle to red line unlike Maxima which over time looses low rpm acceleration.
Weakness:
Exterior styling too conservative. Gas guzler. Door and moon roof gaskets made of unique material which makes anoying rubbing noise while rolling over bumps. Acura's solution, lubricating gaskets. Needs telescopic steering wheel. I'd buy it again. Similar Products Used: Maxima SE |

Strength:
Acceleration and sports-car like handling.
Weakness:
road noise I bought 1999 3.2 tl for my wife last november. Compare with my almost brand-new Nissan Maxima, TL has much better acceleration, cornering and handling. |

Acura 3.2 TL
Strength:
Strong engine, good interior appoinments, great value.
Weakness:
Transmission can be flakey, especially on part throttle downshifts Overall, a great "near luxury" value. I've owned it for 1 1/2 years (24,000 miles) and have had no mechanical problems. Similar Products Used: None |

Strength:
Agree all from other owners:
Weakness:
- Bose systems is a joke (this is the worse I ever had), sound quality can not even be compared with $200 pioneer systems bought at Circuit City. After 13,000 miles with many long trips. There is no single problem. Similar Products Used: To 96 Camry V6, it is more powerful but AT transmission is not as smooth as Camry. |

Acura 3.2 TL
Strength:
Very strong and smooth ride. Plenty of amenities. The sound system is wonderful. You can really get lost in the car. Nice place to spend time after a long day.
Weakness:
Needs more head room. I am 5ft 9in and fit just right if I was taller it would be a tight fit. Steering wheel doesn't tilt enough. Would like fog lights to finish off the looks. This car combines luxury and smoothness with an aggressive aditude. The price of the car makes it a value that you can't beat. The other cars in its class just can't compete. With the other cars you pay to more money for less car. I used to sell Dodge's and Chevy's, the Acura is just a nicer car. Have fun driving yours I will mine. Similar Products Used: Last car was a 1999 Old Cutlass. No comparrison will never own another GM product again |

Strength:
I find that it has very good acceleration.
Weakness:
The gas consumption is ridiculous. I have been unhappy with this car because of the gas consumption. I have recenntly spoken with someone else who drives the same car, and he claims that the gas is just as bad on his. So now atleast I know there is nothing wrong with my car. Strength:
Fantastic quality, excellent handling, great value for the dollar. Acure has hit a homerun with this vehicle. Can't wait till my lease runs out in another year to get another, newer model!
Weakness:
None. Have not had a single problem I was a bit biased since I owned an Acura Integra for ten years from 1988 to 98. But my experience with this vehicle has been phenomemal. Absolutely no problems after almost two years and not even any rattles to speak of. You can't help but drive this car fast. Very comfortable with good handling. For the price, much cheaper than the Lexus ES 300 and with more options at the base level. The Lexus felt like an upscale Camry, but the Acura had a unique feel all its own. Strength:
I feel the that the strenghts in this car is the acceleration, seats,(even though they should be memorized). The Bose system is pretty good considering what's out there price-wise. The handling is exceptional in Dan Ryan driving. Commuting back and forth downtown to the South side(Beverly)is a breeze.(even in the snow.)I have 5047 on the spedometer with no major problems yet. The HID lamps are amazing, i keep them on all the time. (Chicago drivers are nortorious for "cutting "in front of you).
Weakness:
The only noticable weakness i've encountered so far is the moonroof seems to rattle when the shade is open. This just started a few days ago, i'm going to have that taken care of on my next scheduled service. (7500 miles) I also noticed that the paint job is rather soft. I have a few "light" scratches i will buff out when the weather breaks. Headroom could be a tad more than it is,(i'm 6'3 197)but i manage. Overall i really love this car. I spent 3 months looking and test driving evey car in my price range. ($21k to $30k) I give this car a rating of 5 stars because of the reputation of Honda. The quality and price. You be your own judge but i don't think you can go wrong with this car. It looks good without having to stand out and say "look at me " i'm a Lexus or a BMW 3 series. I found that the price and service was exceptional at McGrath. If you are looking for a great deal talk to Noble Jones and he will work with you. Similar Products Used: I also drove the 2001 Max. SE and the BMW 328 and for the money the 3.2 Tl wins hands down. You get what you pay for. |
