Strength:

HIGH performance!!! It has speed, and is a COMFORTABLE ride for long trips.

Weakness:

I do agaree, with the transmission problems some people have... as my transmission was replaced about 2 yrs before I bought it. The car has 180,000 miles on it now and still runs like brand new!

I really like the car. The power is awesome, and it just gets up & goes like no other. I bought the car used, had a single owner & all the paper work of every maintenance performed on it to include every oil change, fuel filter change ETC.

Strength:

None that I can think of off the top of my head.

Weakness:

Let see....engine is horrible it should have been a V8 for that size of a car.Transmission went out when I first bought it.It stopped on the freeway on my way to work, I had to tow it to the nearest Chrysler dealership and spent about 2 grand. My timing belt went out, fuel pump, water pump, alternator, transmission went out.Just all around crapy car.

Boy, does this car suck.It was a piece of crap from the day I bought it.I would never buy another Chrysler again for as long as I live.Yuck!!!!!!

Strength:

Comfort & response. Extensive storage capacity with a great sporty look for a big car and it will pass anything on the road. Wonderful for long trips. Love the Infinity sound system. I purposely looked for one with high miles because I felt it would have had all the necessary bugs worked out and it did. Previous owner had a new tranny put in & I just had a new A/C installed.

Weakness:

Both the front axels & bearings have had to be replaced at the cost of about $250 each. The Automatic A/C control is bad($400 part) and must be replaced. I feel I have another 60 to 100 K miles I can put on it before I replace it and will definately look for another LHS.

This has been an excellent car. One of the nicest luxury cars I've ever owned. Had 150,000 on it when I got it and I put another 25,000 on it in the past 18 mos. Had it to Florida 2 times and NC 3 times. I've put about $2,000 in repairs in it but it only seems to get better with use. It is like a new car in looks and operation.

Strength:

Power is more than adequate. While I don''t know how fast it will go, it has plenty of power for passing. I am impressed with the handling of this vehicle. It corners like it is on rails. I have found it to be a fun car to drive. Interior comfort is excellent, has plenty of leg room, and a large trunk for storage.

Weakness:

Repairs. I have replaced an ignition switch, at about 40,000 miles. I have replaced transmission at 30,768 miles, and again at 69,217 miles. In addition I had to replace the rear brake calipers as they had frozen due to rust. I also had to replace the two hydraulic hood supports. There has been more money spent repairing this vehicle, than my last three cars combined. While I generally do not believe in them, I would buy an extended warranty, unless the vehicle had a 100,000 mile warranty. The two transmissions replaced in this vehicle, are the first transmissions I have replaced in over 2,000,000 miles of driving. Nearly half of these miles were were driven in Plymouth Furies

Overall I like the vehicle very much. It is attractive, has plenty of power and interior amenities are excellent. My vehicle has 69000 miles on it, and I am still running the original tires. I would estimate there is another 10 to 15000 miles left on them. The vehicle is using 1 quart of oil every 3500 miles

Strength:

Good interior execution, good exterior design, car rides nice and quite. Over 30000 miles, no problems so far, Car is very solid with no appreciable squeaks and rattles after all these milage.

Weakness:

The engine is not that smooth, sometimes, you feel that it is not that powerful as it is rated for 240+ horser power, I also think the engine sounds a bit loud for the price and performance class it is competing against.

I think the general design of the car is excellent, even though I borugh an updated 2002 Toyota Camery for my wife, I still think Chrysler LHS''s interior desigh is better executed. It is simple, elegant and functional. I particularly like the automatic client control system and the driver informational display, it allows you to set the preference you like and it does not take you a lot efforts to find out the information while you driving, it is just a very user friendly car.

Strength:

Big, comfortable, has most of luxury feature, you do not need to slam doors as on BMW.

Weakness:

Engine is not powerful enough, relaibility is bad.

Incredible car, it''s big, comfortable, and luxury. When you drive it you can completely relax and feel as a Captain of a ship. It''s pity that Chrysler stopped production of this car especially in old design body fashion.

Hemi performance technology in the cars engine. Which gives it plenty of power.

Weakness:

The transmision.

The car has plenty of power. I beat a mustang V6 3.8 in a race!!! Because the fact the car has torque. The transmision is breaking though. I recomend getting a rebuilding kit for the trans. it costs 130 dollars because I did the work my self. It made my car work like a charm.

Not a trace of bad signs. The more days that go by the car seems to feel even smoother than it was when new.
Chrysler Doesn't Advertis this car often.

This car is awesome, and I'm 19 years old. The Plantimun LHS with Chrome (after market 18" wheels, ) looks gorgeous. The shear size and bulk of it scare other cars, but it handles no different from a Camaro or stock Mustang. I don't think any body tried this, but I installed an after market air-intake and exhaust kit, and it sounds awesome. It sounds like a 5.0 mustang or a similar hot rod type car with a V8. Speaking of V8, I'm hoping that Chrysler will switch all of there large LH cars to V8 and rear wheel drive, then watch the sales go up. All they need to do is advertise more. There has been no mechanical problems with the car, the only cost is timely oil changes. Chrysler should just put more faith into this car and advertise more. Any one wanting a luxury car with a low price shouldn't look any further than the LHS. Just look at the standard features, then think about a 4 cylinder Toyota Camry that costs almost $25,000. Get the LHS, You'll stand out from the crowd, and I think you can trust Chrysler now.

Other than that, you can't compare any other American Products with a Chrysler, in terms of styling, handling, and power . I wouldn't be caught dead seen in any other American Product than a Chrysler. Just compare an LHS with a LeSabre. The LeSabre looks like its falling apart, the tires are way deep in the wheel well, and don't even mention Ford.
