Quality of materials goes down each year. But still better than the comp.

$41k. The first time I drove this car I was amazed. If you can deal with the "character" of the car, it is simply the best $41k car made. It handles like a gazelle, it stops, it moves, ride quality is OK, ergonmics are superb. Compared to my BMW 5-series, this is a better automobile. Its just not for me.

Only thing keeping it from a 5 overall are the materials and under-the-surface build quality are not what they used to be.

Easy to park

This Mfg. is nothing more than an expensive Chrysler product. The worst experience a car owner can have is to go to a Benz. dealer for anything other than using the bathroom. If you made the mistake of buying a Benz and had to go through the rude attitude of the sales "force" as I did you could never like the car. I intend to dump this piece of crap and never deal with Benz again. Believe me I have been in their showrooms from The Seattle area to so. CA. and there is not a bit of difference between the bunch. When I purchased this junk from a Dlr. in the State of WA. the crowning insult was made to my wife and I from the head sales jerk when we ask a question. I quote, "JUST WHAT IS IT GOING TO TAKE TO MAKE YOU TWO HAPPY." And I mean right into our faces. It was a "get the hell out of here" attitude. I will tell you all what my friends, what it will take is never go into a Benz. dlr. for anything. I have the service done by a qualified Benz. mech. Furthermore I have and will continue to discourage all my friends to not buy a Benz. under any circumstances.

The C-class is in my opinion fundamentally a well built car. However, my C-class was supplied with 4 basic errors, including front wheel misalignment of 20 degrees. Your US price of $31000 does not translate here in the UK - a basic C-class comprises an 1800 engine, without auto box or metallic paint. This in very basic trim (without any 'extras' such as air con or leather) costs in excess of $31k. A US basic specification 2800 engine with auto, leather, and metallic paint, I have this week been quoted at circa $57600. I am intrigued to understand how Mercedes can build, ship and sell a $31000 car in the United States for $57000 in the UK. Whilst a reasonably competant and generally well built car, at current pricing levels this is clearly very poor value in the UK.

Handling is superb, a very smooth and quiet ride, superb finish on all component parts. The style and design of this car brings the C-class into excellent competition with its closest rivals.

Slightly smallish rear seating area in terms of leg room. This is a four seater, not a five seater except in a pinch.

This is the ideal car for both in-town and highway travelling. It combines economy in terms of fuel usage, plus the sufficient joy of the road to satisfy any driver. The ride is smooth, there is little noise nor harshness in the ride. It is agile and quick enough for most drivers. If you desire a faster vehicle then you simply choose the C320 as opposed to this model. It deserves a best in its class award.

This car will really make you enjoy driving. 0-60 in 6.9 seconds is for real, with a feel of pure luxury to boot. Handling is superb. Fun is extreme. The continuous looks of envy, priceless! :) Sound system is good but I plan to improve it.

I L-O-V-E this car!! When I first test-drove this car, I liked it. The first week after I purchased it, I liked it even more. Now, after putting 2000 enjoyable miles on it, I adore this car. This car will turn heads and can also zoom past some of the flashier sedans such as Lexus 300. I did test drive the BMW 3 series and found it to be pretty bland. Being a person who truly enjoys "driving," I am totally satisfied with my purchase of the C320. You can reach 100 mph without even realizing it and curves at 85 mph are a blast and a breeze.

Has very great quality, beautiful interior and very easy to use instrument panel. The trunk space is very large for such a small car. The glove box also has a lot of space for a little car. This car is so beautiful no other car can compare. It handles very well on wet roads and tight turns. The new touchshift automatic/manual transmission is really amazing. MB has one satisfied customer.

For the price my parents paid, I expected a better sound system. The cd changer was a little expensive. Could use a little bit more of a "luxury" feel to the instrument panel. The engine is really a drag with only 165 hp, but other than that it performs better than most other cars. The engine, to me, makes a loud noise when it idles. The only problem I had was the driver's side electric window made a noise, and I had the motor replaced because it was slipping. Also, my cigarette lighter has blown a fuse from me leaving my cell phone adapter plugged in after I turn off the car (my own fault).

I LOVE this car. It is my first car and I will definently stick to MB's. Fortunately, I have not had the bad problems as others have. I added a lot of extra's, and it performs wonderfully. It is a head turner when a 16 yr old girl is driving it. This car has the smoothest ride. The personnel where I bought my MB at are very friendly, and even call to check up on my car. I would recommend this car to anyone who really appreciates comfort, quality, and superior handling.
