In city its everything you would expect from a car with the Star on the bonnet... on the autobahn ... no words can be put down turbos kickin in..

I bought a modified CLK 6.1 V8 and if I didn''t drive the car I wouldn''t believe it could be like that. I have added twin-turbos a while ago ... nothing can be compared with it

If you are looking for a head turner convertible look no longer. The classy lines are clean and refreshing. This MB has no equal in terms of prestige style and power. I looked at the BMW M3 convertible, the Boxter S. THere really is no other competitor besides those vehicles. IF you want pure sport go with the M3. If you have to have a porsche then your mind is already made up. The MB is the thinking man''s car. It has 4 seats and a glass rear window. It has plenty of torque and top end and it just looks great. Women and men love this car!

Strength:

Ride and handling is excellent. Very quiet. Voice recognition is a blast. Integrated phone is very nice as are Xenon headlights. No squeaks or rattles. After 5 weeks have found absolutely no problems. I like the COMMAND system.

Weakness:

Headlights are manual turn-on. Surprised me. Small town street coverage on Nav is light. Gas tank seems small at 16.5 gallons.

Bought the CLK 430 as my first Mercedes about 5 weeks ago. Car is a delight to drive with power to spare. No buyers remorse. I got it loaded with all the options. Voice recog is a lot of fun. Integrated phone works great. Nav system is nice but lacks all but main roads in my home town.

Strength:

Incredible power, wonderful handling. Very comfortable for long haul driving.

Weakness:

Road noise, a loose roof liner, squeaks and rattles -- I''ve had it in twice for this. At 73K+, I expected a solid, silent car. But I haven''t seen anything in this price range that''s better.

Great car -- a blast to drive. I just completed a 2000-mile tour of Canada and Maine. On empty twisty back roads, the CLK55 handled great at speeds close to 90 mph. If you love to drive, you''ll love this car. It''s perfect for long haul, high-speed driving. Comfortable and fun! I upgraded to the 55 from the 430. The difference? Noise and ride. The 430 was very quiet, and had a luxury ride. The 55 is noisier (much more tire noise), and has a harsher ride, but the marked increase in power, as well as the lack of lean in turns makes up the difference -- for me.

Bought a 320 coupe 2 years ago and loved it ever since. Though the CL500 looks a lot better, the CLK performs just as well. Except the handling was a little weak during turns and manuvers. SO I got my self some 19" Brabus Monoblock V 2piece and the car is perfect. If you don''t want rattles or squeak, then don''t get a cabrio.

Model Reviewed: CLK 320 COUPE

Strength:

It is by far the sexist car on the road, a definite head turner
The engine is powerfull!!! It seems as though it drives best
when your doing 110 , that's my excuse for driving the way I do =)
The leather seats.
The tape player pop out feature is pretty cool
The teleaid system is awsome
The one touch sunroof & windows
Memory seating
Paint is beatiful, it maitains it's shine
The fist aid in the back was a smart idea
The interior fade lights are nice
The ABS brakes are awsome!!! they've alredy saved me from raming
into people on the LA freeway during rush hour, several times

Weakness:

It should have come standars with atleast a one CD player,
if your paying over 50gs for any car a CD player should be a
basic feature/my god leater seats cost much more and those are
a standard feature.
The cup holder sucks!!!
I have had problems with both of my windows/had to get those fixed
The wood cracked in half from the Cali heat/I had that replaced
I've had my keys for only 3 mounths and their alredy going bad
The front head lights could be a little stonger
Leg room in the back is terrible/all of my friends fight for
the front seat

Drives very well
Excels rapidly
Beatiful Body!!!
Decent gas mileage
Love the standard features/ in any other
car you'd have to pay extra for the leather seats,
the AC, mirror tints, one touch windows, ect...

The Body, Paint, interior and exterior of the car make up for
any of the bad features.
Nothing compares to it's beauty.

Strength:

Beautiful exterior, powerful engine, sporty looks(AMG), beautiful color options.

Weakness:

Car wouldn't start only after two days of ownership. Everything inside rattles, suspension is too loose. Sunroof problems. Engine ECU problems, no dead pedal for foot rest...etc.

My car is beautiful. But all it has is it's looks. Mercedes Benz has serious problems with their build quality. I guess I should have expected that, buying from a company called DaimlerChrysler instead of DaimlerBenz.

Strength:

Jaw dropping looks, great engine, sporty feel with optional tires and rims.
incredible value, comfy front seats, beautiful burlwood(like it alot better than the one in the 430 which is dark and dull)

Weakness:

Could use more legroom in the back seat (still better than than Luxus SC430) blind spot with top up and no footrest(dead pedal)

Incredible looks and by far one of the classiest looking cards on the road(yet very sporty and modern) smooth & powerful engine feels like V8. i have put 17 inch AMG rims and Michelin Pilots on mine a must over the stock rims and tires.
I can not even believe that some people have complaints about this beauty.
perhaps they should keep on driving the wanabees like lexus and Infiniti.
Some people just don't understand what Mercedes is all about!!!
We owned several Mercedes Benzes and we were very happy with all of them. This one is no exception.

Model Reviewed: Mercedes-Benz CLK320 coupe

Strength:

A sporty 2-door, a bit like a minature C-class sedan that hits 60MPH in about 6.1 to 6.9 seconds. Not bad. The coupe averages about 21.6 gallons per mile. Ride quality is mostly firm but comfortible. Agile and reasonibly flat sure cornering. Swift and undramatic braking. While idle engine is almost silently but snarls under heavy throttle. Room and comfort is snug not spacious but is sufficent. Descent trunk room nothing to extravegant however.

Weakness:

Premium gas however is mandatory. Thumping and occasional sharp reactions over espansion joints can spoil the ride. A slightly weighty feel in steering and a little less athletic than say a 3-series by BMW. A slight wind hiss and tire thrum can be heard. Steering wheel adjustment needs to be changed and over the shoulder view is blocked quite a bit. A few controls are put in inconvienent places. Back seats are terrible for leg room.

Appeals for style and Mercedes cachet. Most likely will return a good dollar amount. Not that well equipped as far as electronics and packages. Gas averages are 21/29. $42,690 was the price for this one. Sunroof and integrated cellular phone is available. This is a great car for a drive on Sunday through lovely country roads.

Similar Products Used:

BMW 3-series, Saab 9-3. The BMW offers a whole lot more combinations and options but it doesnt quite have the handle like the Mercedes does. The Saab however offers more body styles to accomidate itself to your life style.

Strength:

Beautiful paint job. Motor is quiet. It's as smooth as a boat. The interior is elegantly designed and high quality. The sound system is tight and accuraty and does not give up at high volumes. Resale value above all. Power is great.

Weakness:

Two year wait.

Mercedes cars are known for their reliability, solidity, strength, beauty, and prestige, and the CLK 320 Cabriolet is a venerable example. It was worth the two year wait because it is powerful, smooth, quiet, luxurious, durable, beautiful, maintains its VALUE, safe, seven speaker Bose sound system utilizes the cabin's acoustics in such a way that it fills the car with symphonic notes, and it is nice to drive summer nights with the convertible down (I can only imagine because it's still Spring).
