Strength:

Lots of Room! Huge trunk! Excellent styling!

Weakness:

Could use a slightly more powerful motor.

I love this car! We bought it used in '05 with 44,000 on the odo. I've been driving it ever since, and now it has 102,432 miles. NOT ONE MAJOR PROBLEM! Only had to replace tire-rod ends, but that was due to a screw-up at a oil-change place (i should have gone to my mechanic). My only real complaint is the 2.5 V6 is a little weak on the highway, but just fine for cruising around town. Don;t know why everyone complains about Chrysler. My family has had 4 minivans, 4 sedans and a jeep, with no problems with ANY of them! (dad trades in between 70-90,000 miles). My mom had a Cirrus, which was totaled in an accident. A van came from the side and hit her in the driver's tire. While the front end was destroyed, the cab was fully intact. A very safe car! neither of us were injured.

I love this car, and plan on keeping her as my weekend cruiser when I get a second car (thinking about the 4-door wrangler).

Strength:

nice leather seats, very roomy, and nice looking car

Weakness:

something always has to be repaired!!

Despite the extensive repairs, it's a very comfortable car. I had to replace both the control arms, had to repair the egr valve, and the car had a problem with stalling whenever. Not to mention, it's not running because I am still unsure of why it keeps doing a dry start. I wouldn't buy another one.

great interior and getup. Handles well.

Weakness:

engine had a ticking noise since i bought it, ended up being the distributor which was replaced and the ticking has stopped.

So far, so good. I've only owned the car for a little over six months, but I'm hoping it lasts me atleast two more years. I've put about 7,000 miles on it and with it currently having over 170,000, it runs like a champ. When I bought it they told me the air compressor was bad and it needed new brakes. The only other additional repair I've had to make was the distributor. Also, the air conditioner/heater fan only works on high.

front end, transmition, radiater hopefully nothing else

This car is the worst car I have ever owned. I will never by a Chrysler product again. My 2000 Cirrus has 84000 miles on it. The Transmition was leaking and furtunatly we found a machanic that could just replace the seals. The dealership wanted to replace the transmition. Also radiator, ball joints tire rods ect. have all gone bad. I have spent so much money fixing this car. We have spent $1700 dollars in 6 months fixing this junk pile. Watch for the leaking transmition this is a common problem in these cars and an entire transmition in this car is very expensive find a machanic that knows about the kit they make to just replace the problem not the entire transmition.

Very roomy
Rides smooth

Weakness:

Wheel bearings are going only after five years.
Brakes always squeak

Nice car, rides great, lots of room. We have taken the car on a couple of trips and like the gas mileage, very comfortable for our son in the back seat. Dissapointed at the wheel bearings, on my second replacement now. Brakes are always squeaking. We do like the car and so far not too many problems. Wheel bearings are expensive though.
Engine has been good, no problems this far. Bought the car in Nov 2005 with about 75000 kms. Now has almost 90000.

great 2.5 v6 fast
great stereo system
trouble free car.

Weakness:

The dame ticking and
The blower resister

I bought this car because of the looks and the motor, its never let me down and the only thing that went wrong with it is I had all the seals done on the motor and ball joint. It had 139000km when i bought it and its has a little tick and it now has 2100000km and still run great, can still spin the tires like when I bought it. The brakes are great but they heat up after 2 or 3 times. I hope I get at least 2 more years out of it before it dies.

Strength:

Decent looking car, confortable and amenity filled interior, runs very well at 110,000 miles

Weakness:

Front wheel maintenance issues: brakes, ball joints, tie rods, alignment etc

I was given this car when it had about 80,000 miles on it and I have proceeded to put another 30,000 on it in about a year and a half. For the most part it has been a joy to drive. Given, this is compared to my last car, a 1992 Geo Prizm, but mechanically the car seems relatively solid. The only system that I have had problems with are the front wheels. Twice in the last year I have had to have the brake pads replaced along with the calipers the second time (probably causing the pads to wear out originally. More recently, however, inexplicable the front passenger side tie rod sheared off. . . fortunately I was in a parking lot when it happened, but it was a sickening sight to see one tire straight and the other at a 60 degree angle. This latest issue came up without warning: this car has not been in an accident since I have owned it, and there were no signs of wear before hand. Interestingly enough, there was a recall on the tie rods and ball joints for the 1997 Cirrus, but not for this model. As I said, so far it has been a pretty solid car, even with 110,000 miles on it.

Weakness:

everything

Car is junk! We bought the car as a second, just to run errands, kids to docs. etc. Well nothing but junk. Made a funny noise in the front end, got that fixed. The air conditioner blower motor only works on high. And now, something is wrong with the wiring. No gadges work on the dash.....real nice. Sometimes they work, sometimes they dont. Afraid to drive it anywhere.....Can't tell how fast your going. This car sucks. Chrysler messed up bad! Anyone have a suggestion of what is causing me to have no gadges? Seems as if the inside of the car heats up, like when its parked, then they dont work. Its a real pain.

Nothing I wouldn't wish this car on my worst enemy. I would even feel bad for Saddam, or Osama if they had to drive this piece

Weakness:

Everything, this car is more problem plagued then the space shuttle

This is the worst car ever made! I bought it with only 30,000 miles on it so i thought it was a good deal, but i have had nothing but problems with it. The car with stall in the middle of traffic for no apparent reason and all manner of warning lights with come on in the dash. I have replace transmission, battery, all kinds of sensors, the map sensor at least five times, the air condioner has to be fixed every year, and it still dosn't work. I bought the car for only $5000 but have put at least another $5000 into it trying to fix it. Chrysler should be ashamed to have made this car, they should fire everyone that was involved in designing and developing this car. They should also recall every car before somebody gets hurt. this car is a hazard on the road. I want them to compensate all owners of this piece of crap by buying them back for the amount payed and the amount that we owners had to put into this. This enigneers should all have their college diploms taking away and should be black listed for life. They shouldn't even be allowed to design biycles or anything that involves wheels, gears, computers, or engines, cause oviously they can't handle it. They should also have to drive the cars that chrysler buys back for the rest of their lives, then maybe they could find the problem and FIX IT!!!!!!!!!

Stereo system

I bought the car with almost 51,000 miles on it and i gotta say i love the car. It runs great and i consistently get 20-22 mpg in the city and around 27 on the highway. The 2.5 liter V6 engine provides plenty of power for highway passing and good acceleration from a stop. The only real issues that i've had with the car is that the blower motor went out and the transmission pan seal developed a leak. The seal was replaced when i had the trans flushed and filled at a reputalbe shop. Although some people have complained about the brakes on this car i feel the brakes are definatly suited to the vehicle. They provide solid stopping power but do heat up after a couple of hard stops. I've had nearly 8000 trouble free miles with the exception of the blower motor and trans pan seal leak.
