Strength:

Looks GREAT, very comfortable and roomy compared to its competition

Weakness:

The ONLY problem is that the car has NO BALLS! Why no stick for V6? They should've come out with a turbocharged version of this car. Nothing has broken on my car so far. I've read many complaints about the brakes, but they seem to work great.

YOU WILL GET LAID IN THIS CAR. You won't find a car in this price range that looks better. It is PERFECT for a teenager (aside from the huge insurance bill it will cost you). I couldn't be happier.

CAR IS NOT FAST COMPARED TO ITS COMPETITION! It is much more comfortable and looks better than the competition though. It seems to be a pretty safe, reliable car. If you want a fast car for this kinda money, don't waste it on a POS camero or mustang, buy an old stealth or an old 300zx. If you want a car that is fun, reliable, and looks good, the avenger is for you. Avengers are unique too. Don't get a civic. Everyone has a frickin civic. Be different

Obviously, the looks. It is like a combo of a Viper, an Eclipse, and a Stealth. The standard 17" rims are nice, too. Very responsive handling, don't always have to slow down for the corners in the city. Although many people have said otherwise, the brakes seem great. Sure, I have been using the car a relativly short period of time, so they may start to go, but right now, they are great. Great sounding engine. Interior is laid out nicely and comfortably. The stereo is very good. The pevious owner did nothing but add a 60 watt amp, and it sounded almost like it had $200 woofers in the trunk.

Weakness:

These depend on what you're looking for in a car. If you are comparing the Avenger to a Camero, you'll be dissapointed; not a great car for racing. It is a little slow off the line. The engine layout is a bit inconvienient, as you need to remove the manifold to change three of the spark plugs.

A very fun car to drive. Nothing you'll want to race in, but enough power and acceleration to satisfy. I've recived plenty of compliments on the looks. Appears to be in a class with Corvettes and such, but it looks a bit faster than it actually is. If you are looking for a very fast car, keep looking. However, if you want a sporty car that has decent oomph, and a comftorble ride, this is the car for you.

Nice looking car. Head turner.

Weakness:

Breaks wear fast
Spoiler fading
Side molding keeps coming off
Expensive tire replacement $150+, change 2x in 4 years
Engine-light anoying
Low power
Low Iddling/Stalling
Changed plugs, wires, fuel pump, and now maybe 02 sensors.

At first very impressed with the look, power and dependability.
Now I am dissapointed.

Strength:

Like everyone says, looks. It's pretty comfortable, and the sound system is very very impressive for stock. Possibly the best factor is the car was obviously made for doing chicks(especially when you have a sunroof and installed a little blacklights on the dash).

Weakness:

Needs better pickup, and more aftermarket mods. Also, the bumper-cover gets the poop ripped out of it if you're not careful. I'd have to say the biggest weakness is the engine...It would be ncie to see those tires bellow out smoke.

Pretty sweet car! Very Nice with the ladies, however not the best racing car. I've raced a mustang(v6) and a thunderbird, and lost both times...but the 'bird started before me. Also, I'd like to see some more aftermarket mods for the v6. It seems like all they produce is for the imports now. Overall, this car is really nice, especially for a 17 year old like myself!

Strength:

Looks, good sound, handles curves well, overall a reliable car for me

Weakness:

Have gone through my second set of rotors in 3 years; my driver side door handle just broke off one day!; experience break shudder from time to time but seems to get remarkably better after getting all tires balanced; oil filter in bad spot!; my intermittent wipers just went on the fritz; rims bend too easy (replaced one already - two others are bent)

Very fun car to drive. Great car on the highways.

Strength:

The best qualities of this car have to be the styling, the inside design and the smooth ride. Breaking is excellent and smooth. When it rains, my car does not steam up and handles well through storms.

Weakness:

Fuel economy! But then again, I guess I need to get a economy car if that is what I am wanting!

First thing I noticed about the Avenger when it came out was the sporty styling along with the sleek body lines. The car immediately caught my attention. Inside the car was just as impressive as outside. The seats were very comfortable and there was enough room in the back for adults to sit without rubbing against eachother. I really liked both the inside and the outside of the car and cannot find anything to complain about. I have the V6 which is fine with me being automatic considering where I live traffic is terrible and I would get irritated after a while constantly shifting. Despite what some think about the handling of the car around the curves, I think it curves well. True, it is not going to whip around the curves like my Eagle Talon, but being a bigger car that is to be expected. Highly impressed.

Similar Products Used:

Eagle Talon- The Talon was definitely easier to get around other cars on the road with less blind spots but this Avenger by far has a smoother, more comfortable ride. I had more problems with the Talon but I bought the Talon used so it is hard telling how the previous owner took car of it.

Strength:

definetly the handling and transmission. I put some 180W 6x9 speakers in the back (no amp) and it sounds like it has a real sound system. I've got my car up to 110mph and the od kicked in but i decided that was too fast. but anyways im saying i don't think it shuts off so thats a plus especially when racing friends whose vehicles do shut off. Another thing, i can hot rod around town and drive hard and I still get 20mpg.

Weakness:

The engine. I bought the sport package and the engine still is a bit gutless. Its enough to keep up with anything besides a real sports car.
I put 2 new tires on the front and it set me back $200

I don't know about everybody but i love this car. This is my first car and for a starter car i couldn't ask for anything better. I bought with 36,000 miles and by looking at the records i think an old couple owned it before me and took good care of it. I have the 2.5L V-6 and it will spin em (a little). The cornering is just down right amazing but i guess it makes up for the engine. Also the transmission, its amazing for what it can do with what little power the engine gives it. I raced my friend who has a 98 chevy pickup with the 4.3L V-6 Vortec and we were nose to nose up to 70 mph when we decided to slow down (we were racing in town)

Strength:

The Avenger has definitely got the looks to impress anyone. The polo green color is uncommon in my area but luckily I'm driving one with this color. Speed and handling is top notch. Again the looks.

Weakness:

Some repairs.

Since I just got my license, this is the car my parents have been letting me drive. I hope to own it someday if it still runs good. I've been cleaning it just about every week inside and outside. It's a pure beauty. The experience so far has been great for a first time driver.
