Handels nice, Looks nice, runs good, easy to work on

Weakness:

expensive parts, transmission problems, locks went bad

I bought my Dodge Avenger wrecked for $ 800. The Guy I bought it from hit a deer, but I had another Avenger so I had the parts to fix it. The car is sweet, smooth, and very nice looking my car has 122,000 miles and it still runs just fine. I had to have the transmission rebuild though, It cost Me $2,100. Other than than that it has been a great car.
I also just had to get a new computer for the transmission $250.

Great Lines Handling and ride hieght Performance Plenty of room Has the potenial to be built in the way i desire.

Weakness:

Parts Aren't Cheap rain runs right into the car when windows cracked. wish she could be a 5sp some times, it slips on how low she sits, and already replaced a bumper due to a curb. She allows my wife to drive her!!

I was vary sceptical when my wife baught me the Veng after the motor in my mazda gave out. But i have been vary pleased ever since. She got the car off of one of her co-workers who was buying a new Jag, and she loved the car. But who could ask for a better deal. 2,000 bucks for a car that has less than 60k miles on her and full leather interior. The lines on the car are beutiful, and after a nice long day of some TLC, she shines with the best of them. This car offers so much more than i could of ever asked for. The possibilities are endless. From a nice sunday driving coupe, to a tricked out sport compact nut. You can tell that this car was designed to reach all sorts of groups. The upgrades are endless and since the design is so close to the eclipse, it is easy to swap out parts to make her look even more one off. Now she has 140k miles on her and is getting ready for an operation. We are upgrading her to a 3.0lt V-6 and hope to give her a longer lasting life. We have kept her perfectly tuned over the years, and already put in a new trany, but it was well worth it. As long as we keep up with her, she will take care of us. We also got a kuston 2.5in exuast for her from the headers back to a reactive muffler, with a new high flow cat and removal of the res. With the aem cold air intake up front, and a few more surprises, the pickup and go of this beauty really holds her ground.

Strength:

Good speed, sleek sporty looks, and great handling.Comfortable interior room and very ergonomic.

Weakness:

headlights, power windows and locks.

I couldn't be happier with my Anvenger.Ever since I purchased it I have been in love. The car is really sporty and it also has decent power.I have already raced it many times and won more than I have lost.My only losses have come to a Trans Am and a very souped up Honda Civic.Although slow off the line, it really gets fast as soon as you hit 35 MPH.I have had my car at a top speed of 141 MPH and maybe could have gone faster. The interior is stylish and very spacious and it sounds great with the system I just put in it.It can really turn alot of heads when it is washed up and shining.I do however have problems with the power locks and windows sometimes but that is not a big deal.My headlights are also filled with moisture and very foggy like other Dodge Avengers. However, if you have no moisture in the headlights on your Avenger, just sand it down with 1500 grit sandpaper and some water and wipe it clean. When you wipe it clean put car wax over it and when that dries, wipe it off and your headlight will look brand new.Other than that though, I have had no engine or mechanical problems with it

looks, rides good, fun to race, awesome handling

Weakness:

stearing radius, price of parts to fix, could have more power, should come with a v6 manual!

I actually saw an ad for this car in one of those "auto mart" magazines you pick up free at the grocery store. The minute i saw it i knew i had to have it. I went to the dealer and told them i had to have it! I love this car because im short and it fites me perfectly. Its a V6 24 valve auto. White with blue racing stripes. I love it when little kids mistake it for a Viper. Its always nice. Has american racing 16" aluminum rims. Only had one problem with it since i bought it. Had to peplace the trani but anyone who is a true dodge fan knows every 96 dodge had tani probs. only had just over 90 k mi on it now. great car lots of compliments from people

Sporty Look Good Accelration Awesome Handeling Well put together

Weakness:

Oil Pressure gauge, Gas Gauge are a little too small. Does not have the raw speed that one may think it has by looking at it.

I purchased my Dodge Avenger in 2000 from A Dodge Dealer when it was brand new. Today, after five years it has 62K miles on it. The Avenger has a Sporty look to it, which attracts many buyers. My V-6 Model comes with 163 HP, which provides good acceleration. The car's handeling is perhaps its greatest strengh. The only problem I have ever experienced with my car was a few years back when a tranmission sensor stopped working. But other than that the car is rather reliable. The Engines and other parts are made by Mitsubishi. So it offers the Japaneese made reliability.
