Strength:

The 3.5L HO V6 from the 300m is the essitial part of this Car. Mated with the "Autostick" Transmission, it makes for a fun drive. The Room, Comfort, and Control. And 17" Wheels.

Weakness:

The stock fabric does not even meet Martha Stewart standards. Gas mileage is a little harsh, but the driving style plays a big factor!! and the factory wheels are a little boring, five big flat spokes.

This vehicle has become a major part of our family. With one child and tons of luggage, it has all the room we could need from day to day. On long vacations though, with a weeks worth of clothing, the ever presant thought of a minivan comes to bear. But being only 26, there is no room for a minivan in my heart.
While we looked at the SE modle quite extensivly, we really wanted the ES. Then, the R/T arrived at the dealership. I feel in love! The 3.5 HO V6 has the power the SE is lacking, but the R/T dosen't have the overwieght extras that the ES has. It's all about Family and Fun. And it looks good too! The Inferno Red paint seemed a little dull at first, but a good paint shop shined it right up todays standards. The family loves it, and the friends too! It is always the Car of choice for a night out.
My wife and I have done a few things to the car to make it "ours". First, we swaped out the interior "Mouse Fur" cloth, to an awesome KATZKIN two tone leather interior. We kept the original wheels, just had them chromed to set off the paint. and a new computer chip, may have to use premium, but the result is breathtaking.
A Family sedan, with a kick. Let me rephrase that.
An AFFORDABLE Family sedan, with a kick. while the Intrepid will not give the German Sedans much threat, the money save can give you more time with the family!
Great job Dodge!!!

Strength:

Great pickup on the highway. Very roomy.

Weakness:

Brakes absolutely stink. I'm looking for aftermarket replacements. Trans sometimes shifts very rough, maybe 1 out of 20 trips. Just had to replace part of the driver's seatbelt.

Mostly happy. I love driving it on the autobahn. We have 3 boys aged 7-12 and they can all sit in the back with no problem. Still get compliments about how good it looks.
While I was in the states, I was very unhappy with the dealer. Lots of excuses and actually wrecked the vehicle once when it was in for service. I would never buy another one because of the dealers. The Chrysler dealer here in Germany is very good but very expensive. I'm going to hate to have to pay to fix the brakes. Sad thing is, I had 2 dealers in Kentucky tell me there was nothing wrong with the brakes while we were still under warranty. Now with the vehicle out of warranty, the German dealer says the rotors are warped.
