Had problems from day 1. Ford dealership does not know how to fix problems. Too many problems.

I have only had this car for 2 weeks and it has been a nightmare. The day after we purchased the car, it started making a sound when I hit the brakes. Took it in, they said they couldn't hear anything. Now it is almost undrivable and I am going to attempt to return it.

This zx3 has all the power you could ever need in a small car this car will get up and go .My zx3 has every toy on it that you could get on it in 2001 .I love the auto trans, and the cd player and the air will blow you out of the car it gets so cold .The zx3 has so much room in it for a small sporty car . When you drive a zx3 you feel like your driveing a small BMW thats how good they drive .

I can not say anything bad about the zx3 it has been a great car .All i can say is that you have to take care of a car for it to take care of you !

I love my zx3 it has been a great car i now have 23,000 miles on it and it has never been in the shop for anything but the oil and filter change.I work at a hospital and i have to drive 60 miles to work and home .I work 2:30 pm to 12:00 am so i have to have a good car to get me home late at night and i have to say that my zx3 has always done the job and done it great .I can't say anything bad about my zx3 .

Nice design. Warrenty during lease covered repairs.

Stalled for no reason..took Ford 1 and a half years, 3 visits to figure it out. (finally replaced fuel pump and head gasket and it no longer stalls...ugh) Breaks squeek...I've been told this is normal since pads have been replaced once due to design problem. A/C stinks. Car shakes at 70 mph...I've just gotten used to it. Now, steering wheet is shaking..I'm scared to find out what this problem is. I've read that front suspension could fall apart while I'm driving it. SEVERAL RECALLS... had to pay for rental car if not kept overnight. Ford seems to have a poor understanding of its product...I think its a seriuos SAFETY HAZARD -- considering the stalling while driving!!! Please, don't buy a focus if you can avoid it.

Poor, poor quality. Regret Purchase!

The zx3 has alot of room in it and when you drive one it makes you think your driveing a bigger car then you are .It drive's great and has alot of passing power for a small car . The zx3 is a great all around car it has alot to offer for the money .It is such a joy to drive and feels great on the road .When driveing a zx3 it will make you think your driveing a sports car thats how good it feels on the highway .You will not get a better driveing small car for the money then the zx3 .The auto trans is great and shifts very nice .The cd player works great and the air will blow you out of the car thats how good it works .I just love the zx3 i'm a car nut and i have had alot of cars but this zx3 has been the best driveing car that i have had in a long long time .The zx3 has alot of room in it for moveing stuff it's almost like haveing an suv or small truck .You can get alot of stuff in a zx3 just open the back and you will see just how much room is in the zx3.All i can say is that i drive my car alot i have 22,000 on it and its just a year old now my zx3 has been very very good to me i work at a hospital so i'm on the road going and comeing home late late at night so i have to have a go

None .....All i can say is that i have had very very good luck with my zx3.All that i can tell you is that you have to take care of a car if you want it to take care of you .

I have a red zx3 with 22,000 mi, on it and it has been a great car .I'm on the road alot and i have to say that this car has been a great car .My zx3 has all the toy's on it auto,air,cd,power window's and lock's,I just love my zx3.My zx3 has never had to go to the shop for anything other then an oil and filter and lube job.But then i take very good care of my zx3 it's my baby.I don't hot rod my zx3 but it will get up and go if you need it to .

The car handles great and is smooth at all speeds. It has a lot of room for the size of the car and is very comfortable. It has stylish looks and the instrument cluster is well organized. Has good power all the way through the RPM range.

I have not run into any problems are weaknesses yet and I hope I don't.

This car is great. I traded in my 99 ranger because I needed a car with room an was more economical.

Styling, A/C, sound system, great ride, tight construction, smooth engine.

Small trunk lid, have to lift center arm rest to buckle seat belts.

After reading some of these reviews I must say I'm surprised and a little frightened. This is the first new car I've bought in 19 years and so far I love it. Runs great and rides like a dream. Plenty of power for us. A/C works great. Nice sound system. I hope it stays that way.

1. Car stalls for no reason-can''t find problem 2. Clutch spring replaced twice 3. Front stablizizer links replaced because of front end clunk noise 4. Springs in back were not properly put into control arms, caused rear end clunk noise. 5. Premature brake wear, brake pedal pulsates and vibrates 6. Won''t go into Reverse without alot of fooling around with the clutch 15. mud builds up in inside of rims causes vibrations 16. brake capilipers froze the list goes on and on and on DO NOT BUY ONE, THE FOCUS IS NOTHING BUT A PIECE OF JUNK. I WOULDN''T TAKE ONE IF SOMEONE GAVE IT TO ME FREE.

JUNK, JUNK and more JUNK. This car sucks. I was fooled by its stylish look and apparent smooth ride, ya right for the first month, then it slowly began to fall apart. I''ve been into the dealership 20 times 15 or more for recall/warranty purpsoses. Warranty''s almost up and the problems just don''t end. I was a student who now is stuck with a piece of crap and can''t get more than $8200 for it. I am not impressed. I will NEVER BUY ANOTHER FORD AGAIN. It''s 100% LEMON. I don''t think any dealership knows how to fix all the problems with this car, I think we all need to get together and get our $ back.

Vehicle has comfortable seats particularly for a person with posture problems. Steering was smooth with alot of power from the engine.

Needed new front brakes after 14,000 Miles as the Service man stated there were iron filings on the shoes. The car suspension system needed new bushings at the same time. Car seems to ride rough. There is an odd smell when the air conditioner is activated. I am not impressed with the turning radius.

Car is comfortable to ride in and has plenty of power when accelrating upon entering a Freeway.

for a small car it''s actually roomy, the stereo and hanlding of the car is great

Dealing w/ford motor co. Breaks....those w/break problems have the steering knuckle checked!! I have no squeeling or brake dust now. Finally the engine and it''s problem w/stalling.

This was my first new car and from day one I had problems. First the dealer said I qualified for leasing, then 2 months later said I didn''t and had to buy the car....Second...after 3 weeks my windshield cracked and I was told it was due to the car "settling". After 1,300 miles i was on my second set of front breaks and rotors...of course the squeeling was normal. after 1500 miles started noticing a whaling noise from engine. 2,000-16,000-23,500/26000/36,316 miles engine stalled in middle of highway..each time was told it was fixed....9,000 miles 3rd set of breaks and rotors 2nd set of tires. 24,00 miles 4th set of breaks and rotors...again always squealing. 36,000 miles finally sick of taking it to Ford dealer I went to midas and they discovered that the steering knuckle was causing the break prob. b/c it was slightly bent. since then no problems w/ breaks at all. a friend found answer to engine problem and thats now fixed. it now has 53,000 mile and it runs great except i still have that whaling noise...but at least it now runs.
