Strength:

You get everything that a big named maufacturer would have in a car priced at $30,000 and above. Smooth ride, great interior and a lot of space. One more thing, damn the lighted dash board hits a homerun with me. When it gets dark outside, you'll appreciate your Diamante even more, you'll never want to park it.

Weakness:

I haven't found any as yet.

I love this car point blank. I have recently owned a 1992 Diamante LS and I must say that it has definitely come a long way. There is nothing about this car that I don't like. Smooth ride, great interior and most of all, it's not a car that you would see on the street very often if at all.

Strength:

Power, braking, handling, aggressive looks, ride, trunk space, stereo system.

Weakness:

Auto climate control only works with refresh. Have to turn off auto to get recycle to operate.

I am overly thrilled with the quality, build, ride and overall looks of this car! The passing power is incredible for the size of the engine, it just pins you back in the seat. Great looking luxury sedan. It just commands respect. I did have one problem with it though. The back window would rattle especially when the body of the vihicle would twist. Had to get the back window replaced. No problems with it since.

Strength:

Smooth ride. Stereo system. Easy to reach controls. Good speed.

Weakness:

Mitsubishi must be japanesse for our brakes suck, because they do. They squeal a lot. Have replaced them 3 times, and the rotors once. Will try a different break setup next time.

I have had my Diamonte for about 4 years now and I still love it. Car is very stylish. The dash is woodgrain. The girls love it! The get up on teh engine is nice. It rides smooth. Stereo rocks! I really like the temperture controled air conditioner. That wasn''t available on a lot of the cars I looked at. This car looks greats and drive great. Was able to get the car up to 137 on I85 once on my way to Atlanta, so it does have some speed. Can''t wait for the new models to come out.

Strength:

Great value especially compared to BMW, Avalon, GS300. Great performance, lots of trunk room.

Weakness:

Like everyone else, I go through some brakes way too often.

Love this car. A great combination of performance, style and room. Before I brought it, the ones on the road looked small inside, but there is plenty of room, especially in the trunk. Often mistaken for a BMW, but not as many on the road. I have the special chromme rims, which really make the car look sharpe.

Strength:

Smoothest ride ever, powerful engine, great looks.

Weakness:

I couldn''t figure out the "learning-type" transmission yet. Sometimes it does things that I don''t expect.

Very nice car, more than what I''ve expected. Being a BMW fan, I got this car just because of the 0-0-0 promotional plan but then I really liked it.

Strength:

Fast, gorgeous, my favorite car owned to date. Great console, easily accessable controls, comfy interior.

Weakness:

Brakes have already given me a problem. Got the rears replaced, and had the rotors cut, but still seem to make noise from time to time. True to form for this car it seems. Anyone able to resolve this problem as of yet? Transmission seems to do whatever it feels like sometimes as well. Weird downshift, too abrupt.

So far, I love the car. I managed to find the 97 ES with a leather package, loaded, with only 32,000 miles on it. When I heard the asking price, I couldnt believe my ears or my eyes. It''s a real head turner

Strength:

2.5 V6 engine, climate control, 4 wheel steering, power switch on the transmission lever, excellent looks, plenty of room around the driver''s area, excellent cd for playing techno music on, rear seat is excellent for having sex with your girl on. The driver''s seat makes driving a pleasure. This car came with no name or identifing features on it at all except for the mitsubishi logo on the front grill. It kind of looks like a gangster car and it looks cool in gunmetal grey.

Weakness:

If you haven''t got the 4 wheels in correct alignment then conering can be dificult ie:understeering. No cd stacker as standard.

One of the nicest cars I have ever owned. I love going for long drives around New Zealand in it. Handles all conditions well snow, ice, gravel, tight corners. I tend to drive well over the speed limit and this car can handle anything I give it. I feel very safe driving this car. This car was imported as a Japanese import and I think it was owned by a businessman as it has alot of little extras. eg. the 2nd cigarette lighter outlet for charging mobile phones. I can fit all my camping gear, the wife and the dog into this car with room to spare. Some people have had problems with the brakes but I have had no problems with anything so far. I can''t wait until I can afford a new Diamante.

I believe that this car was designed to compete with the 5 serises BMW. It does look abit like a bmw but much cheaper.

Strength:

has a fair bit of power for a 4 cyl, and it also has the quick acceleration.

Weakness:

rust on bottom of guards, rust around windscreen,

Message to the first reviewer: the diamante was never released in Australia, the Mitsubishi Sigma is the closest and that has anything from a 1.6L to a 2.6L and was only available as a straight 4.
