Strength:
High top end. Handles great. A nice looking car. Goes through gears fast. Good accl. after 3k rpm.
Weakness:
Transmistion blew at 91K $2800. every 60K Timing belt need replacement $700-$900. Water pump. Both wheel hub assy. Upper control arm. But What do you expect for 140,000 miles. I drive this car hard and it still impresses me. Bought the car in 1997. 43000 miles one owner. Good all around car. Great gas milege. For a 2.0L NT I had this beat up to 140mph and she still had a little more to give. the only mod is a KN air filter. I want a GST for my next car. Similar Products Used: None |

None i think that this is the best car that you would ever buy. not only do they look great but they drive great too. my car has not once given me a problem. i look great in it...it drives awsome. it isnt really an expensive car. you can trip out this car very easy. anything from turbos to colored hoses. most people complain about the back seat. well if you were buying a car for alot of room you picked to wrong one. you should have realized it wasnt that big before you even bought it. Overall Awesome car! Gas Mileage is a plus and the pick-up of the four cylinder is awesome!
Weakness:
leaky sunroof and window Great car... biggest problem was transmission.. I had that overhauled over a year ago and everything is fine now! Ac is awesome and the gas milage is alright! The only problem with it now is a possible leak in a valve seal! Similar Products Used: None |

FAST, corners great, beats the hell out of alot of cars stock.

horrible trade in value Its a really good car, hasnt given me much trouble...what can you expect from a used car....Its Fast, sleek, handles great, and did I say it goes fast..especially with my upgraded BIG 16G turbo. very strong engine! looks really great. can get any girl into the back seat except they probably couldnt fit! a real eye catcher
Weakness:
too small of a back seat! the car is the best! i got it up to 198 but hten my piston blew! its all tricked out! not too many on the engine though.ive put about 1500 into the engine and about 2000 into the body! once i actually had raced a lambirginni diablo and i won! it was sweet! ive beat about 20 cars in it and 3 of them was on the way to the shop with a blown piston! those 3 were a supra a civic and a trans am. this car is the best beyond anything else ever made! great cockpit look and feel. Comfortable seats. Wheel feels nice. gauges are very sporty. The interior is great.
Weakness:
inferior design parts. Many recalls. Noisy. Alignment. Does anyone want to buy mine??? Overall I am very dissatisfied with this car. Please concider very carefully getting one. I paid top dollar for it because it is such a hot seller, but have only had problems since I got it in 2000. It is a 2001 SPYDER convertable. Here are some of its many problmes: |
