Strength:

-All Wheel Drive
-turbo charged
-exellent handling
-exellent grip on the road
-racecar looks
-16v DOHC
-SPEED!!!

Weakness:

-The space inside the talon is very small and is only meant for 2 people, anymore is just too packed!
-Turbo lag is a killer
-other than that its a damn nice car

This car is really fast for its own good, it has so much horsepower for its size, it can beat most cars out on the road today in the quartermile totally STOCK! I cant believe it, the turbo mixed with all wheel drive just makes this car one of my all time favorites, and on top of that they are really easy to hot rod, with all their supporting magazines!

Similar Products Used:

ok from experience, in my STOCK Talon TSi i have beat, in the quartermile a '99 Mustang Gt, 2000 chorvette, Mitsubishi Eclipse '99 GsT, Acura Integra type R, Honda Civic w/ turbo, and many others, so I would recommend this car if you wanna go fast!

WOAHHHHHHHHHHH, what an amazing car. Unbelievable how this car is wonderful. I Had Modifications on this car, I changed the color similar as the one in The Fast And The Furious. If you boost this car, you will be driving like if you are in a dream; without anything to complain.

Strength:

really good gas mileage after changing spark plugs to bosch platinum and spark plugs wires. nice interior. you can upgrade the eclipse pretty good. its probably the nicest car to upgrade

Weakness:

low torque in low rpm. bad factory transmission. bad blind spot. its really hard to check the blind spot because of the really small rear side window. the fender gap to the tires is way too hughe.

its overall a pretty nice car if you take care of it. it looks great. the aerodynamic is nearly perfect. the car is really slow in starting but after buying an after market clutch it is really fast. using an after market header for mid and low rpm increases the torque. using an after market clutch from neuspeed increases the low rpm torque and using an AEM cold air intake increases the high rpm torque. check the transmission if its leaking... check the engine and spark plugs gasket once awhile. its common for oil leaks.

Strength:

it's a heads turner, look and ride good and it's the best car I ever had

Weakness:

take a long time from japan to recive the parts

When a buy this I turn it into a racing street and I race it and it race perfectly is even better than a honda prelude but I really like the prelude it just that the prelude is now my second choice because I ever had a car who have a good grip on the roads and it a head turner everyone want to have a ride I recommand to everyone who want to do street racing because with nitro is the best car you ever get in. when you got in you never want to go out again. IT THE BEST CAR!!!

Strength:

-lots of POWER for a 2.0L
-POTENTIAL
-LOOKS & CHARISMA
-AFTERMARKET STUFF AVAILABILITY

Weakness:

-TOO EXPENSIVE TO OWN
-TOO COSTLY TO REPLACE PARTS
-TRANSMISSION SUCKS
-SEATS ARE PITIFUL IN THE BACK

Got it last May 2001 with 81000 miles on it. Pretty looking car, a real heads turner and chick magnet! A vicious VTEC killer! But besides that Im not too impressed, FACTORY TRANSMISSION really sucks on this cars. Just bought a new upgraded rebuilt 5-speed to replace the damn gear box and yank the OEM clutch and throw it in the garbage and I upgraded to RAM Powergrip Heavy Duty Clutch. Both together cost me $1600.00!

Strength:

Looks amazing with a stock body kit and a Battle GTR Wing. Twisties, she'll rip through the twisties, second to none. Great performance for the money. I paid $6700 for it w/ over 300 hp and have now put another $7000 in mods on it. Can't wait to open her up when I'm done.

Weakness:

My biggest problem was on the drive home. She raced and therfor had no stereo system. What a boring fu**ing 750 miles. Turbo spool is a bit slow because of the custom exhaust and downpipe, kicks in at around 3500-4000 and explodes after that. Harsh ride on GAB shocks and Eibach Race springs. CV Boots rip with the GAB Shocks installed in hard corners.

I just got this car about a month ago. She is a former road racer that has had a hard life. Right now she is stripped down to the engine and frame. It ran a 12.5 in it's prime. I knew this car would be a risk due to it's race history, who know had bad it was treated but she made it home, a 750 mile drive with no problems and performed well around here before all my mods came in and I stripped it. Only seen a few punks so far including a 2000 Mustang Cobra (lost off the line, but tore him up in second and beyond, Neon (pooper), Mustang 5.0, this guy claims to have around 400hp but it didn't show closest race but still slower than my 4 banger, I'll race him again when I'm done.

Lots of strengths handles well, smooth riding, the interior is great. Comes with lots of options like sun and sound package and if you like manual or automatic. Great for any kind of driver. Gas efficent!! <===== very important

Weakness:

For a couple hundred i would get the Premium Tires instead of their Alloy tires. Otherwise a very good car.

2001 Mitsubishi Eclpise GS GT or if you wanna save a few bucks the RS are one of the best cars on the market today!! Look at my comments!! Its pretty strait forward. I personally like this kind of car and its worth the money. Any questions email me!!

Strength:

Decent pick up, nice sound system

Weakness:

Handling is not so hot, particullarly on high speed sweeping turns.

Ok, looks and drives like a decent mid-priced car. However, this car sucks. So far, I've lost master cylinder and rack and pinion. Both covered under warranty, but these are not the sort of problems you expect in a new car, and when your brakes fail, it sucks. A few months later, the steering fails, also sucks.

Don't buy. Mitsubishi Customer service is terrible, and the quality of the vehicle is poor.
