WELL this car looks great now that Ive spent thousands on it. I really love this car alot, my wife hates it, but one day she will get over it and love it too. I get alot of complaments about this car and what i have done to it.

I must say , this car is rediculously slow (RS/147hp). If someone would make some aftermarket parts fo this engine (2.4L SOHC) then I would buy it . NO TURBO,NO SUPERCHARGER,NOTHING(except NOS or ZEX and I dont want to blow the poor little motor to peices). ITS an RS so I guess that I cant say too much.

Great car turns alot of heads Ive done a few modifications trying to make it faster and look a little better. -blitz body kit(VIS) -carbon fiber Hood(VIS) -euro tail lenses -cold airintake(injen) -exaust -APR racing wing -18 inch wheels -2.5 inch drop -IN DASH TV with DVD player and PLAYSTATION 2 --_FAST AND THE FURIOUS_-- (just not that fast)

Great car. Fairly quick. Good sound system. Exhuast sounds great for a stock system. Get lots of looks. Drove a Celica GTS, RXS type S and Prelude SH but liked this car alot better becuase it feels stroger than the others. I plan on buying a few performance parts for this car (intake, exhaust, headers, NOS) and didn't want my car souding like a weedwacker once I put the exhaust on like all the other imports with a 4cyl. So I bought a V6.

Style,price,performance. A very fun car to drive.

Rear seats are a joke. But what can you expect for a car this small? Speakers can't really handle power of Infinity stereo. Hard to see out of back with spoiler in the way. Hard to judge where edges of car are. Leather is a little stiff.

I have the GT in silver. Beautiful car! Got the automatic. Bought it used with 40k. I am pleased with the power except for a lag after shifting into 2nd. Exhaust note could be a little deeper.(Sounds restricted to me) Nothing an after market system couldn't fix. Heigth of windowsill takes getting used to.

It is very fast 210hp and looks great.Handles really well but does not have the power hitting midrange as my probe gt did I miss that.But Braking and handling is very impressive.

Price as of all new cars they are so over priced this is a nice car but it should have been about 5 gs less.

I was very dissapointed in the dealership was told I was to recieve $500.00 below sticker and when it come down to it they said it was not true they had said this to me.I was ready to walk!But I liked the car:)

Acceleration. you have no idea how muhc of a difference 15 lbs of boost can do to this car. Handling. The limited slip is a MUST for autocrossers and hard drivers. Cockpit. Looks very high tech and out of a jet fighter.

So far...its been quite un-reliable. Already cracked my valve seals, blew 2 fuel injector caps adn connectors, and now its in teh shop because cylinder 3 has NO compression. Im starting to think it was a mistake. When its running its FUN AS HELL. 1st gear tears ANBODY up and going 150+ mph sure is a rush. But its the little squeeks and idle problems and wintow track problems and sunroof problems and shifter problems and fuel problems....that add to a hatred for a dsm. Nah...i dont hate it...i only hate it when its in teh shop. Id recomend getting one ... just make sure its in good condition...and realise that if you modify it...it WILL fight back. I REPEAT. IT WILL. its not a maybe. Have money on hand to fix the things that go wrong when u mess with it. over all its a nice car..just had some problems already within 3 months :(

One of the best accelerating and handling cars for the money. Theres nothign better then stepping on the gas and hearing the turbo spool. Noisy squeeks and frewquent problems constantly take away form teh experience though.... read on.

Great car! I bought it new in 1998, and it now has 68,000 miles on it. It is paid off, and now resides in my garage, and only comes out on sunny days. Other than a few factory recalls, and standard maint. items, there has been nothing wrong with the car and it has not cost me a cent. It seems like there have been a lot of complaints on here, but keep in mind they sell a couple hundred thousand of these a year, there are bound to be a few bad apples.

The car is okay for now I'll give it that. Very nice looking car. My problem is with the financial portion of what Mitsubishi is doing to people. My husband and I purchased a Mitsubishi Eclipse in January of 2002. We decided to take part in the "Zero, Zero, Zero Sales Event" that was offered throughout the United States. Last I heard it was still being advertised. We paid with various insurances and TT&L approximately $29,000 for the car. The only reason we decided it was a good idea was because we knew that we would have extra cash to send Mitsubishi Credit to be applied directly to our principal. Hubby and I have sent them almost $13,000. To make a long story short. Mitsubishi has flooded the market with these cars and even though we have paid $13,000 in less than 8 months we are still in the hole. With them flooding the market the resale, trade in and value in general of their cars are crap. We are in the hole $5,000 after sending them $13,000!! TO MAKE IT SIMPLE, HUBBY AND I HAVE BASICALLY GIVEN AWAY $18,000 IN 8 MONTHS ON THIS STUPID CAR!!!!!!!!!!! (sorry I'm not happy) Warn all who are talking about purchasing a Mitsubishi. Don't sign the paperwork unless you know for darn sure you are going to die in the next year!!!!!!

It looks great. It's quick. I get a lot of compliments on how it looks.

Doesn't brake as well as I would like. The biggest problem I have with it is the air conditioning. I also had a problem with the passenger window which they adjusted.

Overall I guess I am OK with my purchase but I am not as happy as I thought I would be. I probably will only keep the car for 3 years. I know I would not purchase one again.

1) The car is pretty fast. Just don't try to race an integra gs-r or a chevy s-10. 2) It has a pretty good bit of after market parts , not as many as a civic but we wont get into that. 3)It handles very well as long as it is not wet. If it is you might find yourself in a ditch on a mailbox.

1) Acceleration up until 3000 rpms will kill you in a drag race. 2) If you do get a good start in a race watch out for shifting to soon. Tacks help with this. 3) Wires in these cars suck. I guess Chincks dont know that electrical tape is not always the best solution.

This is my first car and I hope my others are much better. This car isnt horrible or anything it just has to many problems. Lets see! The AC doesn't blow cold, the paint is all fefed up and fadded, one of my head lights has turned yellow, and it is a biatch to work on. This car is nice though. My friends and I cruise aroud alot and we are always noticed. With a civic, integra, and eclipse together who wouldn't notice you. OK lets get to the facts. The car continuously dies, the dealer said it was a wire and they fixed it for $115.00 ,but they lied. I'm sure after I bring it back four more times they will discover it is a $1200.00 part.
