Strength:

Incredible Steering, Handling, Brakes, Acceleration, Performance Value, Well Prooven Engine, Automobile Mag COTY, AWD, Looks good, the wing has grown on me- I drive a rally car

Weakness:

Not many, remember this car is for driving. Long trips (no cruise); RPM's at 3K @ 70 You could loose your license Makes you spend time at internet forums and money on aftermarket

I've had the car since July '03. I've never had more fun driving a car. I'd say the next best car I've actually driven (fun wise)is a '01 C5 (I have'nt driven many high performance cars); the evo is twice as fun, plus you've got 4 doors, a good sized trunk, and awd. This car makes you want to drive all the time. The best part is handling, in particular hard acceleration coming out of a turn is incredible, during which you'll be glad you've got the recaro's holding you tight. The steering is super quick, like driving a go-cark. One flick of the wrist, an you've gone from the right lane through the gap in the center and into the left without even thinking about it. It's confidence inspiring. The brakes are awesome too. There isn't to much power assistance with the brakes like on an Audi A4, allowing for better modulation. Yeah, the ride is somewhat rigid, but if you go fast over the bumps the suspension does a good job of taking the edges off. Go slow and you'll be bounced around a bit. My car has one rattle that seems to be coming from the headliner. This is not a luxury car so don't expect an awesome interior, but I like it just fine. It does have HIDs, and you can adjust the angle of them from inside the car. The stereo is decent. I never though I would own a car with a big wing, but the look has grown on me and I didn't by this car as a status symbol anyway.

Strength:

makes you look like you spend money

Weakness:

makes you look stupid for spending your money

Don't listen to the freakin car dealers below. This car is far too expensive for what you receive. For $28000 you could buy a number of cars w/ higher quality, better reputation/resale, and much less expensive

Strength:

Fast, powerful, roomy, good looking, and has the look of a street racer.

Weakness:

I really don't think it has any weakness.

I love this car I fell in love with it when I first saw it. This baby has speed, power, and can sit my friends as well.

I guess I could compare it to the Honda Civic, but that wouldn't even be a contest because the Evo would blow it away.

Strength:

- Power - Handling finesse - Easy to drive fast/comforting at high speeds - Great front seats - Room for 4 scared passengers

Weakness:

- Interior is cheap and stripped down

Traded in a pumped up RSX Type-S for the Evo and I couldn't be happier. Handles like a go-cart, brain numbing stopping distances, just sick acceleration and I can carry my buddies to boot! The interior isn't as nice as the RSX's, but with this kind of performance, who cares. My wife was skeptical and thought it was ugly. Then she drove it and the Evo was the most beautiful machine in the world. I had modified my RSX well beyond stock and loved it, however, to compete with the Evo I would have had to spend far more than the Evo's asking price.

Almost $1000 if you want a boost guage!

Love it. This is mine forever. I took a buddy who has a 911 for a run and he felt sick at how fast we could go! This cas just seems to have everything and I can't believe it's $30k ... and for another $3-$3 I could have something which would run with a Ferrari.
