the stereo system sucks bad but unless you ride in the back seat where it is cramped other tan that it is great!

torque,pretty fast, integras gsr are little bit faster,handling is awesome with 4 wheel steering,engine was said by japan was one of the best built until the hand polished intega type R engines.

handles bad in rain or snow,the wing is not off the car so the water build up may rust the wing over time.hasen''t happen to me but i heard it has happen to other 240s.plus no cup holders i hate drinking something with out cup holders.

Number 1 I only paid $3000 and the car is mint shape.I beat the hell out of it, I mean I''ve hit curbs got air born flew around turns at amazing speeds and pulled 360 on highway and much more crazy things.But everyday i go out and start my car and it has no problems.Thing runs like there has never been abused. car still looks brand new. never spent a dime into it except oil changes.I still even have same muffler on it from the factory. I only have 88,000 miles but the the harshest 88,000 miles you could put on a car.This car is very fun to drive and pretty fast for four cylinderand good torque.Overall the greatest car I have ever bought.Im sorry that american cars suck they dont have any cars that are reliable to any jap car.Thats why i would never buy an american car just waisting your money down the road for repairs.

to date, this is the best car i''''ve ever owned. i had recently got in an accident where the other party was at fault. my 240sx was totaled! i am bummed big time. i will give this car the ultimate compliment by saying i will be looking for another used 240sx. i had the hatchback 5spd. base model in black. VERY reliable, considering the original exhaust system is still on the car after 120,000 miles. no problems with this car whatsoever. just change the oil and filter regularly and this baby will treat you right. i did my own oil/filter/plug changes because on this car it''''s a snap. spark plugs are right on top so they are easy to get at to change or clean. as a lot of reviewers have claimed, this is not a rev-happy engine that wants to live near the 7000 red line. but their is gobs of low rpm torque for everyday driving. acceleration from a standstill or low speeds will have you leaving other cars in the dust. shifter is crisp without having that notchy feel i''''ve noticed on my ex-girlfriend''''s 94 eclipise. the suspension on the base model was a good combination of comfort and firmness. bumps and uneven terrain were noticeable but no too bad considering this is a sports car. steering and handling were top notch, as long as the roads were dry. being rwd, the tail could spin out on you very easily if you make a fast turn in wet weather. poor traction in snow as well. stability at high speeds was very good. the factory speakers were good enough to handle the power from an aftermarket cd player i installed. dashboard layout was easy to use. overall exterior design has stood the test of time. i think it still looks very attractive today. all n all, a great car. now, does anyone have a used 240sx to sell me?

My girlfriend has a loaded 1989 nissan all the se stuff the power windows, locks, sunroof, so I DROVE IT EVERY CHANCE I GOT.And it''s got over 220,000 miles. Then knew I was in love. We got the 2nd as a parts car. I could not see it distroyed. it has a dented in trunk so I got it cheeeeep. I tuned it up and drove it. I felt like a stock car I love the handeling and the 1st and 2nd gear burnouts. so I have been rebuilding the car.I will replace everything I can to put it back to new. At 159,000 miles and it passed smog and still drives like a new car.not a HONDA...THATS RIGHT! look a 155hp rear wheel drive with a stock 4.10:1 limited slip rearend, its 2,500lbs even with the stock KA24DE is bigger than a hondas 1.6 or 1.8.But get a turbo and a good exhaust and then 220hp. or a red top 2.0 turbo made in Japan as the Silvia. Center console, armrest scratches to easy. Interior plastic reactes to climate changes (cold weather causes some rattles in door panels).

This is my second 240SX. I first owned a 1993 240SX 5-spd hatchback in 1993. In 1996 I bought a 96 240SX base with the optional alloy wheels and cruise control package, black with black/gray interior. I now have 63K on the odometer and the car still runs like new. For the over 5 year period that I have had my car, it has been extemely reliable and trouble free. I would highly recommend this car to anyone looking for sporty, reliable transportation.
