Handling is wicked, I have added 225/45/17's on all 4 corners. the factory suspension is fine..I may lower it but there is little need. This model is fully loaded..could not ask for more options. So far all is well no problems at all.

Weakness:

a littl under powered..but has good torque. I was going to get an integra..but i hate reving all the time to get anywhere, this car you can pull around at 2-3,000 rpm the shifting could be tighter..but I'll but a short shift and shims in it to fix that. this car is really nice/

paid 8,000 canadian, put 17's on all four corners that ran me $1700 so I have about $11,00 into a 91, sounds like a bit much..but the car had 88,000 kms on it! and is flawless, no winters, no accidents and it's like driving a new car, i was going to get a 2001 GTI VW but they are $33,000 ! and my girlfriend just got a 2001 TDI GOLF so I get the best of both worlds. if anyone has any engine mods..please email me, LATER!

Strength:

Handling and brakes are fantastic. One of the best I have ever driven. Good power in the upper rpm range. Good sound and comfortable interior. Extremely reliable!!

Weakness:

Little torque for off the line pulls. Little pedal feel and clutch throw to far. I have an 81 king cab that has the same clutch but 2" shorter throw. Touchy transmition. (Japs have never built a decent trans). No back seat room. Trunk is deep but a short opening.

Damn good car. Needs a turbo and a stiffer pedal feel. Slower than my Storm and much slower than my corvair but acceptable. Buy in confidence and spend a grand on a few external engine mods and good tires. It'll outlast and Mitsubishi or Honda on the market!! Buy American. Its made in Tennesee.

Got this car for free!!! Better than good handling. Best in this $$$ range. Fun to drive in sunny dry day. Can easily go around any corners/turns without too much effort.

Weakness:

NOT ENOUGH POWER(automatic)!!! NEED WIDER REAR WHEELS. All problems surface after 110K miles of regular driving. Here's goes, bumpy noisy ride, Brake pads+pumps+rotors was replaced. Exhaust system was replaced. WHOLE oem sound system stop working and was replace MANY TIMES. Wires+plug was replced. Paint start coming off. Roof leaks. Overheating. HOT AC. Broken fan motor etc etc......Got the most uncomfortable seats in the world. AND TRUST ME THERE IS MORE.

Faster+out handles a Civic SI. Can do amazing cornering with some exp.+ a set of tower bar in any surface. Expect to fix lots of part if you're buying a 100K miles+ 240 even if it looks good in and out. DO NOT DRIVE IN WET WEATHER IF NOT SIMILIAR WITH THE CAR. A drip of water will make the car fish tail. This is a seasonal car. DO NOT DRIVE OFF ROAD BECAUSE YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO GET BACK ON. Beside all these problems, it a fun car to drive and well worth the $$$

Strength:

The style of this beauty is incredible. It's what a real sport coupe should look like. Handling is marvelous. Confortable and very user friendly. This car gets the looks and deserves them too!

Weakness:

Could use a bit more power, an inline 6 or a V-6 would be perfect. Turbo could make a great difference. Rear sitting is only for emergencies.

Paid $15,000 for a neat 1997 240-SX SE LE with 34,000 miles. I LOVE this car. Greatly recommend for anyone looking for a great looking sport coupe. Rear wheel drive and great suspension make the handling great, incredible realiable, good gas milage, hits over 120 mph and feels great at that speed!

has all the power your gonna get out of a 4cyl.--although i bought it with a few upgrades(k&N filter kit, cat-bak exhaust system, and chip upgrade) handels better than any car i have ever driven, and with all the factory installed power options--luxery is no issue --- and you can run the thing to death and then some--its just a great car

Weakness:

--with all the options and great engineering they put into this thin--you would think the people at nissan could throw in a cup holder--but--you can improvise. being rear drive and so light- unless u got some serios tires on the back driving in rain and snow is somtimes a trick but its nothin a little less pedal can fix

--i'd recomend this ride to any medium sized human being with basic needs--and the taste of a little luxary. if u got kids go for a honda --but one or two peeps your in good shape--oh the chics also dig the car--my girl feind made me teach her to drive it.--all and all--best car i've driven thus far

Even high end 180 Km/H, it still want more speed. 155 HP, 160 Torque inline 4, it's very impressive. 4 disc brake, 15 inches tires, stock bodykit (SE), impressive interior, alot of space for my 2 ten inches woofer, and super Hicas.

Weakness:

Too heavy (about 3100 pounds), plastic spoiler, tiny back seat, missing cup holders, shifter once over 160000km, it feel like there's are lot of play from the shifting bearing.

I paid 6000 for my baby, so far, I didn't put any performance stiff in it. cause it has it's own performance abilities. But, maybe 1 year later, I will drop a s13 turbo engine, stainless steel cat back and Intake and ecu chip.

Great Get up and Go Power, Will burn Tires in 1st 2 Gears with some minor modifications. Motor is practicly indistructible. Handles like a Dream especially when I put Eibach Sportline Springs in it 2.2" Drop. Intake, Cat-bAck Exhaust.

Weakness:

Engine Shuts you down at 115mph, Wish it had more hp stock like the sylvia. I hate the Open Diffrensial cause when it burns possi sometime and sometime it just is a 1 tire fire. Should be a Possi Rear End or a Limited Slip Diffrencial.

I paid $3,000 for mine with 115k on it and I am now at 142k and have the #2 Piston has a bad ring other than a little smoke it still hauls butt. I have a Ractive Intake, Eibach Sportline Drop Springs 2.2" DROP, MaxSpeed Cat-Back Exhaust with 3" Custom Bent Stainless Steal. Front Tire size is 215/50/R15 Rear to handle that more power is a 225/50/R15 and yes it will still burn them through 2 gears! I take hard corners at like 95mph and have no problem. Handleing I cannot enfize enough rules. I can keep up with a '94 Z-28 around the corners no problem. I would reccomend this car to any honda lover. I can keep up with the DOHC 2000 V-Tech Civic Si's and yes they are modified.

Strength:

I am able to get up and go with four people in my car. We are talking with at least 2 people who are over 6'. I love it, when I shift into second gear and hear my rear tires chirp, (I have a four cylinder). I have beatten some of the big boys, then I notice that my gas is gone. Handles great with 205-60's in the front with 215-60's in the back. It is fast, even when I use my cruise control with the 5 speed.

Weakness:

Needs more horsepower. Small back seats. Needs better looking spoiler. Paint job tends to fade to soon.

I paid about 7,500.00 at about 100,000 miles. Seem kind of pricey, but when I drove it I fell in love with the performance of a rice burner. Now I would diffently by another. But instead of purchasing another; I am going to put a new performace engine in it when this one findly dies. If you are not to crazy about a hatch back, take a look at a 91' SE, you can remove the back part of the back seat and give your friends an extra room to stretch out. I have a friend who is 6'4" with the bakc of the back seat removed he can actually sit back, (amazingly enough). I recommend this car to any one who would like to have fun, even though the gas prices are still going up. If you want looks, performance, handling, comfort, reliablity, and security. Then this car is for you. But, if your looking for other things in a car, than maybe you should go buy a Honda, Intergra, or even a Toyota; because this car is not for you. But if you advent-urious, and looking for excitement; than consider this one. Go out and test drive, (a SE) the four-cylinder 5-speed or even the six-cylinder, see if you don't fall in love with the over all performance.

Strength:

This Car has good pick up from block to block which allows you to run with some of the Big DOGGS on a short distance. It could use a little more h-p for the long run, but even in a long run with turns and twists the handling will let you show what you got. The style of the car is SWWWEEET, and i haven't got a complaint yet. But in dry conditions this car sticks to the road like glue. So get one and we'll race!

Weakness:

The Back seat is very small (no nookie in the back seat). The clutch bracket broke on it, but was only $20 for a new one (easy fix). It needs more horses. I recommend a chip, air in-take, intercoolers, and Eibach Racing suspension. Thats what I have so don't even race me until you upgrade. But if you don't upgrade you'll still be satisfied, but if you do WhhoooooooWeeeeee! This car will kick but!

I paid 13,000 for my 240 with 20,000. I would definately recommend this car to anyone who wants the look, the stlye, the comfort (minus the back seat), and the handling of a str8 up performance car. It has a slique design, its very dependable, its a babe magnet, and when your in the PA area and you want to see on the Maple Grove Track then its whatever. I guess you can tell I pretty confident in my 240.
