I got my aztec in 03 I realy love the car but ever since I got my car I have had nothing but issue with it with in the fist three months of getting the car it was in the shop getting repairs I did not have to pay because of the warnty but not I not even drive it because they said I need a new engin for and it only five years old with just 73,000 miles on it the only place I drive it is to work and home but now i don't have a car and I still have 6 more payments on it so now my car is a waste of my MONEY

Strength:

Looks cool. It's comfortable

Weakness:

Lots! IT DOES NOT LAST! Poor inside lighs. Wide blind spots. Expensive for the quality.

Yes, the car looks cool and it's comfortable but the quality leaves a lot to be dsired. I have 78.000 miles on my car and I spent over $1500 in the last 2-3 months fixing this and that. It makes a horible noise and I just have been told that a piece from the transmission needs to be replaced (cost over $3000) - basically not worth fixing. The car won't be worth much if I trade it in and I still have a loan to pay (I have about 15-18 months to pay n it). If you buy this car with the intention to change it at about 60.000 miles then go for it. If you hope it will last you more than 4 years foget it! Get another car

Drives great in snow and mud

Weakness:

Pretty much everything

I bought it at 118000km. In the first 9 months it had over 13000.00 dollars in warranty work. Since then, I have added an additional 4500.00 dollars and now the electrical on the dash cuts the power in and out. The lights and stereo shut off and every lightcomes on. The airbag light came on and soon after that, the drivers side airbag deployed when I shut the door. This is the biggest lemon I ever bought and I would never buy one again. It has also had 2 recalls on the rearend and the gas line.

Strength:

Very roomy, easy on fuel, The TENT option is the coolest thing ever.
drove across Canada last yr with my husband 3 kids and 2 dogs and our luggage had lots of room. I would recommend it to everyone..... excellent SUV

Weakness:

Haven't found one yet

I LOVE MY AZTEC AWD
I have never been stuck, goes through snow like a tank. My only complaint was the rearend fluid needed changing shortly after buying it. 500$ and with 17 inch rims tires are exspensive
But I LOVE IT !!!!!!! The best car I have ever owned and I'm over 40

Strength:

Roomy, fun to drive

Weakness:

Everything, I have never spent this much on repairs on any car I have owned EVER

DO NOT BUY THIS CAR!!!!!!! I maintain my vehicles to an extreme and this has been nothing but a headache. $3000 in repairs in 3 years, not to mention all the things broken that I am too broke to fix, the rear hatch will go up, but the tailgate is stuck and will not go down. There is a horrible grinding sound under the driver's side no one knows what it is. I will never buy another Pontiac ever, which is a shame because I loved my last Pontiac, but this car is completely unreliable!!!!

My husband likes the look. And the cooler between the seats. I liked the stock system, sounds great.

Weakness:

Rear hatch opens only after several attempts, electrical system is poor.

My husband and I bought this pontiac just over a year ago. And although we had a few peiceful months, it has had several problems. And including the infamous rear hatch sticking. At this time it is in the shop awaiting a new engine.

Cool look! Roomy on the inside

Weakness:

Oh, where to start .... how bout everything so the car will last more than 6 years after its production!

I bought this vehicle because of its unique design and the low price for an SUV. I bought it used with 60,000 miles on it. It was evident the previous owner had taken great care of it. It seemed like such a great deal .... VERY shortly after purchasing it the power windows quite working, and the radio display disappeared, the rear hatch routinely doesn't open with just a push of the button (always sticks), and then the big problems started ..... there was a funny whirly noisy at first, replaced the fule filter, the whirly noise migrated more to the front .... by the times end I needed a new transmission AND engine!!! My mother bought a pontiac the same month I did and her timing belt broke this week too .... I wil NEVER buy another pontiac!
