Great ride, Sporty looks, very roomy inside, great color, excellent ride. very good gas mileage.Reliablity.
Weakness:
None whatsoever, I love this machine! I have had this baby for 4 years, with 120,000 miles on the clock, she shows no sign of slowing down. I would highly recommed this car to anyone who wants style, economy, roominess. I would consider a 2001, but they are so butt-ugly.I May purchase a low-mileage'99 Similar Products Used: Buick LaSabre, Dodge Intrepid, sorry my Dad does'nt have a Caddy..lol |

This car freakin hauls!! I just got it and i love it. The chrome rims are 17 (i think) and they shine and stick out more then my dads Deville DHS 2001.. The steering mounted controls are a plus and so is the heads up display. There is heated seats in the front, but not in the back. And damn the new body style looks wicked nice, kind of like a 4 door firebird. I love it in black
Weakness:
It doesn't have a navigation system option in it. It should because its such a nice car in all the other areas.. Compared to all the other cars i've used... this thing rules. It doesn't come even near the S-Class but it does beat my dads Cadillac in value and maybe even performance. A Deville brand new cost 40,000 base i think. A Bonnivlle SSEi has better looking rims, more standard features, and a great ride. I'd take this over a caddy any day. As far as value goes, its 2nd to the Catera. Similar Products Used: 1997 GMC Jimmy, 1999 Ford Contour, 2000 Mercedes-Benz S500, 2001 Porsche C-4, 2001 Cadillac Deville DHS, 2000 Cadillac Deville DTS, and 1999 Cadillac Catera. Others i've driven because i work at a car dealership but those are the ones i've driven out of work. |

Weakness:
the only thing i dont like about it is that it needs to be constantly cleaned. Antone looking for a luxurious FAST! car, this is the real deal Similar Products Used: we had a 1994 corvette and it blew past it |

Although the car is 10 years old it still attracts attention. She's a piece of true American art. She has a powerful engine and great acceleration which are not expected from a typical Grandparent car (my grandparents have two). All the little gadgets on top of a smooth ride make driving very comfortable. The sound system, though stock, is amazing. This car handles very well in a Chicago blizzard.
Weakness:
I have had a few minor problems with engine parts. But what can you expect with a car with over 140k miles? A Bonneville is an all around car. I can load it up with lots of people or lots of stuff, and yet it still gets decent gas mileage. She drives well in all weather and circumstances. I would recommend this car to anyone in any age group. I don't think I will ever own anything else. Similar Products Used: Nothing I have ever driven compares to this car. |

Awesome styling, beautiful acceleration and performance. The 3800 Series II is a very reliable motor. I drive this car 120 miles a DAY, and have owned it for just over a year with no problems at all. Great highway gas mileage at 28 MPG. I love the orange cluster assembly, and the Heads-Up display and steering wheel radio controls are life-savers. The 18-way adjustable leather seats are more comfortable than my couch! Silver, Black leather, and black trim accents including Dual exhaust Make it look like a 100 MPH Silver Bullet Standing Still!
Weakness:
No weaknesses at all really. At 100k on the odometer I haven't had single major problem with it at all. I drive it about 4 hours / 120 miles a day, and it's never let me down. The 3800 is strong and powerfull even at 100,000 and it has yet to fail me. I would definetely recommend this car to others. Although that little lower case "i" at the end which would give me the supercharger would be awesome, I've heard performance and reliability are down from the base and SSE models, and after reading some other reviews it looks as if I may be right. Also, I've heard models with 4-wheel disc have alot fo problems with the rear brakes, stick to drums back there. And my last suggestion, if your looking at a Bonneville, 95+ was the first year of the 3800 Series II, and OBD II (diagnosis aid), which are huge steps up over there previous models, so try to find one newer than a 95 if you can! Feel free to E-mail me with further questions, and I'll have pictures up on my site soon! Http://www.oswego.edu/~cdecker Similar Products Used: None come close, it's in a class of it's own. The closest thing would be our 2000 Mercury Sable LS, and I'd still chose the Bonneville over it anyday. |

This car is fasttt, if you like power and safety, this is the car to have. My dad bought this car brand new and i loved it so much i bought it from him last year, and not to many teens drive bonnies, they drive hondas which i can beat with ease. We never had and problems with this car since we had it, it is very reliable, I love the power of the car a lot.
Weakness:
The window motors are weak, sometimes when the window is down, the window doesnt want to come up, thats the only weakness I can think of. If you like power, safty, and reliability, this is the car you want, it is very sporty looking, I recommend the bonneville if thats what you like, im 18, I really enjoy racing my car and beating many cars that people dont think the bonnie can, but if they know the power it has, they would think twice. Similar Products Used: I cant compare this car to any other car, it has a lot of power and it is reliable and safe. |
