Strength:

Power, and gobs of it. By far the quickest car that I've owned. The heads up display is also a plus. The seats are also very comfortable.

Weakness:

Premium fuel only. Windshield washers spray too much fluid when the button is pushed. Radio buttons on steering wheel are a bit overkill. Horn button is very difficult to find.

Time will tell.

I work for an Audi dealer. This is a "muscle sedan" compared to the Audi A6. The Audi is more nimble and much better in snow(Quattro:aka-4wd). This car is be a better high speed highway cruiser.

Strength:

I bought this used ride for a song, and it is loaded with nearly every option available to the SE package. Nice engine, reliable, not that quick off the line, but a good cruiser and a pretty stylish ride, if a tank. (Why does this thing qualify for a mid-size? It's huge!) Running strong at 127k.

Weakness:

some plastics have troubles. Front grille cracked. Needs _WAY_ more cubby-holes, the floor-shifter packge is essentially a big waste of space. Cheap cup-holders and who thought of putting cup-holders in the doors anyway? Stereo is okay but confusing layout. Keyless entry range is very weak and where's the sunvisor blade extenders? (I'm a visor engineer and this adds only about a buck or two to the car's manufacturing cost).
Would trade the power moonroof for a place to put my sunglasses next time.

Best car I've owned, although I haven't owned much that's any good.

Intrepid. Intrepid is much quicker with more space and probably simpler to work on. I don't trust Dodge's drivetrain though.

Power Power Power,,,Is the strenght of this car..I just bought it and so far I am imppressed with its power and handling..this car is also spacious and has lots of buttons for you button pushers out there...

Weakness:

Gas milage, premium gas (a must)..I also think this car should have a universal key (its an American thing i guess)

with a 137000 miles on this car, it seems to be running strong, and so far i am satisfied...although i am having problems with my turning signals...

Amazing gas milage...32mpg for a 3700 lb. car is nice. Decent ride, and lots of other cool stuff. Lots of power, when I have opened it up it really flies.

Weakness:

Car has been in the shop 5 times in lass than a year...if the car had high milage I would understand but today it has 48000 miles (I had bought it with 36000). Repairs range from water pump to emission system to suspension, plus I had to replace all 4 tires and the front brake pads (but I won't count that). Car was never driven that much, and I was never really hard on it (for all that I know though, the previous driver may have been rough with it). I would definitely think twice before buying another one, hopefully the new model isn't like this one.

It is indeed a nice car on the exterior. The black paint matched with the 16" chrome wheel option makes it a real head turner. This is the first car that I've ever had the pleasure to call my very own. My friends gave me crap for it being a "granny car" but after a few rides that ended rather quickly. I bought it used, so that might have something to do with it but the car has gone through many repairs and I have had it less than a year. All in all the car has been a bit of a disappointment.

LOTS of power. I use to always get beat racing at red lights in my old car...not any more. The fog lights make it look real cool at night. Huge trunk for all of my subwoofers. Dual exaust,VERY roomy, red background behind all the speedo/odo/fuel etc.,quiet, engine sounds very nice when accelerating, electric driver side seat,3 cigaret lighters, plenty of cup holders, nets on the back seats, sunglass holder,2 split visors(one for the side and one for the front), handles for people that have trouble geting in/out of a vehicle, or just what i call the "OH S***" handles, leather seats, all electric, bright interior lights, great sound system, though I need my subwoofers so I can go shake some houses down ,and a lot of storage compartments. This car is good for anybody!

Weakness:

Well there isn't a lot of weaknesses so i'll think of all the little things I can think of. Um, the front windows need a little more curve to em'then it would look very sporty and would be perfect for me. They went a little wild on the plastic (one of my door clamps came loose and a light cover fell off but I fixed those two problem easy),the engine is great at a stop but could use a little more power in like 40-60 speeds when getting in to it to pass cars....i'm gonna fix that w/ a chip, and a K&N air filter, and the back is a little high for when your looking behind you to back up.

I just got this car today and I love it! The outside looks sporty and the inside is VERY roomy and lots of gadgets to keep your friends occupied( they found a lot of things I never even new were on the car).It has 127k miles and still runs like it was new.

Strength:

Good acceleration. Great Brakes

Weakness:

The main engine bearings went out at 60K miles right after the warrenty went out. Pontiac would have not part in replacing the engine. Almost sued until they paid for half of the $6,000 V6

Good car with plenty of power. Smooth power although the automatic had choppy shifting. Roomy and comfortable. Also owned a 1988 Bonneville LE and that car was great although the paint was completely gone after about 4 years.

Strength:

Lots of power, roomy, looks real cool, driving like a tank, tight car

Weakness:

Low in-city gas mileage, trunk leakage, some design problems(see my review summary)

Generally I enjoy my driving experience with my Bonnie. It looks really cool from almost any point of view. The power is strong enough and I just love the feeling overtaking cars like wind. It's very tight so driving at 70MPH I say that wind noise doesn't bother me at all. I've been driving a 2001 Maxima and the wind was like howling when it's only 50MPH.

Reliability is o.k. with me so far. From 86k to 92k today, it didn't give any real troubles to me. Yeah, I am starting to trust her already. However, these are some week points I found on her.

- Trunk leakage. In summer, the trunk seems never completely dry before. You can always see my trunk lid open in a parking lot, just have to let it dry. Later it cost me 100 bucks to have it fixed.
- Gas mileage. In town is only aroung 15MPG W/O airconditioning, isn't this disapointing?
- I've locked in car keys with engine still racing 2 times already. Each time I found the problem after 2-3 hours when I couldn't find key. I am just wondering how could this happen?! I was told by a friend that her '87 Camry never let this happen!!! GM should be aware that absent-minded drivers like me are probably everywhere! I feel disapointed about this.
- The washer fluid sprays too much than necessary!! It is truly dangerous if you push the button during driving, since you can't see anything for at least 3 seconds but anything could happen during that time!! Tust me only use the fluid when car doesn't move!!!

I would say that if you like safety, power, and lots of room but careless about gas, it is your baby!

SSE is a sweet machine. We bought it as a second car for the family. We like the style and power, and lots of toys. I've driver many cars and this has mone of the best rides around. If my wife would ever let me drive it I'm sure the pleasure would be ten fold.

Speed Projected on windshield ... Fast ( but at high price ) , top speed is 215 for a "Family Sedan" , feels "safe" ... sometimes .

Weakness:

Gasoholic , Stupidly Designed in almost all aspects , Fiber Glass all arround it cracks fast , Only Automatic , Very Heavy ,

The car has 240 hp ( or they say so ) . 240 hp from a 3.8 engine it's not that great and considering that the engine is HUGE and HEAVY 240 hp means slower than a 140 hp manual sports car . I lost races to accords ,Chavaliers , probes . Even thogh the car has lot's of power an extra person in the car makes a very big difference .
Since the engine is that big get ready to fill up the tank every 2 days ( if u drive arround 150 km a day like I do ) . The car has nice electronic accessories , has no handbrake , parking break is close to where a cluth should be ( a peddal ) and does not acctivate while u are driving it . Seems to have lots of space but i feel that the design it's wasting lot's of it . The car does not even have a cupholder in front . Engine is very rough , created a lot of problems , right now it's at home with the second belt broke in 1 week . Never Buy a boneville unless u're over 50 or you have 12 kids and u work on the other side of the street .
