Volkswagen Eurovan (1992 - 2003) Minivans | Wagons

Volkswagen Eurovan (1992 - 2003) Minivans | Wagons

DESCRIPTION

In the USA, the short wheelbase Eurovan 5 cylinder passenger models (CL, GL, GLS, and MV) were only sold for model year 1993. VW only imported the Eurovan to the USA for one year (1993) because sales in the USA were disappointing, but sales continued in Canada and Mexico. VW reintroduced the Eurovan passenger models in the USA for model year 1999 with a VR6 engine as standard, and discontinued it again with worldwide T4s after 2003.

The Eurovan Camper by Winnebago was introduced in the USA in 1995 with the 5 cylinder engine, and was upgraded to the VR6 for the 1997-2003 models.

Strength:

It has great power! I can easily pull into traffic and not worry.
I also Love the easy loading seat arrangement and the height of the van.

Weakness:

It's not the posh van a lot of people look for at this price range. My feeling about that was the van is solid and very comfortable, not to mention the easy loading seating arrangement. I can load the children and stroller in the main area and never open the back.

This is a great van! I love the space I have and loading my child is great!! I don't need two doors like most vans because I can get both kids (one expected) into the van without ever climbing in. The 2nd row faces the back so my new born will face the back and my 1 year old will face her.
This van sits really high unlike the Honda and other vans we looked at. I look down at other minivans and most trucks. I can see over the cars while driving and it is still low enough in the back (it has a raised front section) to load children and groceries without climbing in. I also like the fact that I never have to climb over the 2nd row to use the 3rd row. The "trunk" area is sectioned so loading packages and bags is very easy. I never have to pile things on top of other items. I also realize I can hide items under the shelf and anyone looking in will not see them.

Similar Products Used:

We tried the Honda, Toyota, Oldsmobile, Chrysler and Quest. The VW eurovan is by far the best.
