FAST! HA! Very refined! Luxurious!

Expensive!!!

First off, this is an EXCELLENT car!!! I can not wait until they put a V8 into it! The fit and finish of this car is GREAT! Much attention is paid to detail. Very refined and luxurious. Does not kill give the driver spasms when sitting in the seats like many sports cars. This car is also very EXOTIC! You do not see nearly as many of these around as compared to the Vettes. RARE is good. Turns many heads. Reccomended for you rich people out there!!!

Exotic Blacktop Cruise Missile. Absolutely the best engineered exotic car made. The lines are beautiful. The driving experience is unequalled. This car carries speed like nothing else.

I agree with others - if I was to buy it new, I would want more bragging rights. Like at least a V-8. At least 300 hp and 300 lb ft of torque. But that's about all I'd change. Mostly it would be for bragging rights.

As it is, it accelerates like no other car I've been in, and it cruises confortably at 120 to 150 mph. Absolutely wicked how smooth this car is at speed.

If you've ever wanted the best, take advantage of the incredible deals you can get on a used one. God, I can never figure out why somebody would buy less of a car - like a vette or something - than buying a used NSX. Most of them have ultra ultra low miles on them, and can be had for a steel.

Buy one. You'll wonder why all cars can't feel and be this good.

Strength:

A bunch of.....engine - first, handling, performance, luxury, speed - second

Weakness:

price, expensive parts

U see those cars above? Good ones you might say.... what is considered good in sport, muscle cars is torque. OK. But what the hell is torque? A sort of power when you got 1500 or 3000 rpm, right? So, when you drive NSX get it right (I mean 1000 or 2000 rpm higher than normally) and the experience is astonishing. People always say Hondas suffer from lack of torque - even NSX....hehe ridiculous (see above). Forget about torque because there is ultimate F1 power vehicle - NSX!!! Tricks like 60-160 km/h at 3rd gear will make you delighted at NSX powerband. To my mind, no M3 is competition for NSX`s performance and general sporty feel. Marvelous V6 which revs behind your neck is dohc-vtec wonder and your grin gonna get wider and wider when u realize there s no turbo!
Handling and fit&finish quality is class of its own.

and attractive.Everytime I drived a stranger stared, i thought she was
looking at me but she was lookin at the car.Seats are cumfy but lacks in
legroom

Weakness:

I dont like the little legroom. Not controlable on sharp turns on highways.
Too many engine problems costed me 50000$.

Not worth the money. I recommend it to singles. For fast careful drivers.

Strength:

Beautiful styling, comfortable cockpit with nice fit and finish. Superlative handling and those engine sounds!

Weakness:

The paint seems to not up to Porsche and Mercedes standards but never the less is still very good. Clutch chatter from takeoff.

I bought mine with 12,000 miles on it and I paid $59,000. Yes for the price it is beyond compare. A true exotic at a resonable price.

Strength:

-Performance and handling
-Interior design and comfort
-Engine sounds AWESOME!
- 3000lbs + 270Hp + 210lbs.ft = VROOOM KICKASS FAST!!!
-Price is good for this kind of high performance car
-Retains original value very well
-A daily driver with "fun" thrown in driving

Weakness:

-Can't (don't) park it in busy parking lots where it could get dings from other car doors
-Can't (don't) drive it in snowy winter weather
-Your silly smile will never leave your face

I've envied all NSX owners for the past 9 years...and my wait has finally ended. It is an amazing car. Beautiful styling with astonishing performance and handling.

If you can find a low mileage NSX at a normal price with no accident history, absolutely go for it. The NSX is the true definition of the term "Ultimate Driving Machine".

Price (yes! It IS a bargain)
Won't rust!!! All-aluminum

Weakness:

Brand-name hard to get across to the rich
Maybe hard to obtain in some states
Mid-engine -> poor storage room

The Acura NSX, EVERYTHING considered, is the best exotic. For $90k (Targa), brand-new, nothing comes close. Looks incredible, sounds incredible (oh man!), most comfortable and visually-appealing interior of any sports car, clutch/shifter are perfect, overall hanlding probably best in the world (yes, really, ask people who take em to the track).
Efficiency? Compare NSX gas mileage to other exotics. 0-60 in well under 5 secs from 290HP/224lb-ft?!
Can be driven fast by anyone, and that is something that should be respected by all. A friendly, reliable Honda around town along with Ferrari fighting performance.
It's mid-engined, like the F355, so when you reach the limit(s), be wary of too much throttle/brake inputs while cornering.
Criminally ignored by super-car buyers, just because 'Acura' isn't as cool as Ferrari name or Lambo or Porsche. Truth is, it's perhaps the best engineered car ever from Japan, and maybe the world (in terms of usable performance everyday). It's a good thing it looks/sounds this bad too.

Never breaks down, fast, cool looks, drives awesome anywhere, any weather

Weakness:

Newer cars with more horse power.

(pre 1997 Model) - Great car. I have owned it, new, since 1996 and love it. Most people won't be able to drive beyond its limits and it simply keeps on going and going. A ""practical"" super car.

(pre 1997 Model) - I used to own a 1987 930 Turbo Slant and loved it. I bought the NSX because maintenance and the ride were killing me. The NSX is truly a wonder; it iwll do whatever you ask. I've tracked it at Laguna and Thnunderhill and have munched on Ferarri's and Porsches although i wished i had about 50 more HPs sometimes. If you're looking for a great looking car with exceptional performance that won't be in the shop every other week, check out the NSX.
