Strength:

Mean V-8. Definitely aint slow! Looks pretty nice although too long and wide. Cheap horsepower (305+)

Weakness:

HEAVY steering, handling Dashboard a mile long.....can barely see the hood. Feels like you''re driving a boat. Seats truly suck Stereo sucks power windows slowest ever-GM quality! gas mpg is awful especially if you drive it relatively fast and most people do! Harsh ride

This is a follow up to my previous review. After living with this car for awhile, I realize it''s basically just a big powerful boat. Don''t recommend it as a daily driver b/c it''s too cumbersome and gas mpg is awful. Nice to take out on the highway though. Fun to rev the V8 but this car is all engine and really nothing else.

Very nice looks Reliability I just cant stop cruising in it

Weakness:

Power

This car is only a V6 but I love it anyways. It has excellent reliability. This car sat in a backyard for nearly ten years, we dropped a battery in it and it fired right up, and its got over 150k miles. This car has been through so much and it continues to impress me.

Strength:

1) Power obviously. 325hp stock. 2) Cheap cost of replacement parts 3) Driveablity 4) Cheap to buy a used one

Weakness:

1) Cheap plastic interior 2) Gas hog 3) High school kids wanting to race you

The vehicle his currently in it''s 4th generation and still has a sporty look after 9 years. It will turn heads if you keep it clean. Powerfull engine that''ll destroy most of the competition. Tons of performance and appearance modifications exists. Easy and cheap to modify engine to beat C5 Vette. Cheap parts prices, gas hog. Does not hold it''s value but the reality is that you buy an SS for keepers. Fairly reliable, only failed part was the blinker. Powerfull 500 watts stock Monsoon system. Horrible handling on wet roads. Bad wheel hop at wide open throttle in bumpy roads. Body flex, sqeaks and rattles, T-tops leak - all can be corrected with cheap modifications like shock tower braces, subframe connectors, etc... I have a carseat in the back that fits my daughter. Room however is in short supply. Doors are huge and hit everything when open, poor turning radius. I can put up with all these because this is a sportscar built to go fast and furious not a family sedan. I don''t race but I love the power that makes the car jerk when I shift. I use it as my daily driver with no problems. Nice deep exhaust rumble.

-fiberglass does not rust -gotta have someone for my cobra to stomp

Weakness:

-everything about the car -ride,handling, quality of parts ect ectect.........................................................................ect.

the camaro is the ultimate redneck ride. It shakes, squeaks and rattles like nothing else i have ever driven. Sure it can go fast in a straight line, but that is it. Cant turn, handle or steer worth a dime. Its like driving a barge. My 1994 Cobra can smoke one off the line and hang with the best REAL sports cars in the turns and curves. Good ridance to the F-body barge.

Strength:

Usually, I might say something like " its not a chevy" but......... it kind of is.

Weakness:

Chevy suck, and the Camero is no different. You are better off with a modified honda than this piece of junk. This car feel like its inbreed.

This car feel like something a bunch of high school drop outs toothless rednecks built in shop class. They shoved a big engine in a junky car and called it a Camero. I suppose the engine works but besides that, there is like no engineering in this car whatsoever.

Strength:

Great UN-MODIFIED accelleration. Great looks, especially in black. Perfect car for a slow Sunday drive with your forvorite girl.

Weakness:

Interior! All though it looks OK, it''s cheap plastic. If you have a camaro, be carefull with the center console lid. The hinge on it is plastic and mine broke shortly after I bought the car. I''ve since reinforced it and fixed it, but it should brake under normal conditions. Plus it doesn''t look like it did when the car was new, although my fix is 10 times stronger.

I agree with another gentleman''s review stating that this isn''t a car for everyone. Not very comfortable, especially for guys like me over 6''. But overall, you can''t beat the kick-in-the-pants, out-of-the-box power of American made muscle. Love the LT1, plus there are many ways to modify it to speed if you''d like. I''m gettin'' to the age where I don''t need to beat everyone, hell, I rarely put the pedal all the way to the floor. It''s just nice to know that it''ll take most cars off the line. Sure, you can modify a Civic with 10K worth of crap and it''ll go fast. Give me 10K to put in my Z28 and I''ll show you fast. Long live the F-body.

Strength:

Cheap Horsepower, but can only use it in a straight line.

Weakness:

So big and heavy that it feels clumsy. And you''''''''d think the interior would be big too...wrong! Interior brings you back to 1986. The outside needs a new look too. If they can make the vette the right size with the right lines, why not with the camaro? With all of the fresh looking new sport cars on the streets these days, don''''''''t expect to turn heads, unless you peel out at the light.

Boat with wheels, but atleast its a speed boat. Base model for the ladies only.
