speed. this cars 0-60 is great.. i ran a 14.0 in the quarter mile all stock not bad...not to mention that was my first time out in the car ever...

Weakness:

in cornering i find the rear end gets loose in the deeper curves... i cant seem to get away from that...

this car is awsome i love it, and would never buy another sport car other than the camaro or t/a''s. this car is fun to drive and even more fun to drive when stangs pull up next to you..... and then slow to a snails pace cause they can''t keep up.....

Strength:

Let''s see.....the fact that it''s a V8, has a posi rear end, and is all factory stock.......the reliability, and the looks I get when I cruise.........

Weakness:

The paint......starting to peel.....only a little.......maybe that''s why people are looking at me.......

Being 23 years old i never thought in my wildest dreams would my first car be a Camaro. This car is not going to leave my hands! It runs strong, handle''s well and doesn''t do anything I dont want it to.

Strength:

Engine. Tranny. Looks.

Weakness:

The quality of the interiour and the paint job when comparing with european cars leaves a lot to be wished for.

You''ve got to love the LT1. There are not that many cars in that price range with that much power originally. As far as I am concerned the engine and the T56 tranny are quite solid. I also like the look of the car much more than a stang. But I love the -65 to 70 stangs.

speed speed speed. which is what this car is all about nothing else the handling is great ive spent a few hundred dollars on after market stuff and its up around 315 horse. not bad for what i paid for it.doing 150 mph is a hell of a rush

Weakness:

Not what you want for a daily driver. Big bulky driving it in traffic sucks.the 6 speed makes a few burples and noises when you drive it slow and easy. The back seat is a tin can.the only spot in the car i like sitting in is the drive seat. The passenger seat feels cramped.I''ve been in enough mustangs in my time, when it comes to speed and handling get the camaro if you like anything else get yourself a stang gt

This is the all american sports car. this car isnt for everyone. the top end on it is pretty wicked. the inside of the car is pretty basic. just not one of those family cars . I love knowing the fact I can eat a mustang up :)

motor: torque, torque, torque.....there''s no replacement for displacement(sorry peepee mustang boys). Interior, i''m 6''3" and 210 lbs., with the power seat i''m as comfortable as can be, more than I can say for a stang. Styling: you can''t beat the traditional no BS, just fast and mean look. T-tops: screw a sunroof, the ultimate combo of open air and security

Weakness:

Windows: ok, i''ll admit, they suck, they''re slow, they''re also 25 lbs., what do you expect???

true to blood sports car, to hell with the gimmics and fashing styling, the camaro is the ultimate out of box sports car for the money. I invested approx. 15k into the car and can smoke any cobra the spent the same on their''s. 12.80@112 and i hang almost .88 g''s on the skidpad. You can''t beat the for 15 grand.

Model Reviewed: Camaro Z28 Convertable

Strength:

Power, looks, VERY Fun to drive, smokes imports, smokes poneys, smokes tires. Very reliable. Did I mention power?

Weakness:

It''s not a Vette, and I dont have an extra 40k lying around..

cdn price.. I''ve had this car for over a year now. To sum it up, it''s been an absolute blast. Incredible power, so much that I''d say it took a few months before I was confortable driving this car. Test driving the car nearly scared the pants off me... Then again this was my first car =) The first time driving it in the rain again scared the pants off me, it has a nasty tendancy to want to fishtail everywhere. Soon after tho, I was used to the car, and driving it in less than favorable conditions is not a problem. Early on driving the car a little bit too fast, the traction control saved my life, I felt the car slip on a wide turn, the car then released the gas, tilted to the right very slightly, and then immediatly snapped back to the left and regained control in less than a second. The looks i get are non stop, it sounds beautiful, the suspension could be a little stiffer, and man oh man is this a fun car on the highway. Off the line it will punish everything but Vettes n'' Vipers. Ford Poneycars are not a problem. One of the amazing things about the convertable Z28 is that you can be driving down the highway in light to moderate rain, and not a drop will land on you or your passenger. There is very little air movement in the cabin with the side windows up. Yes there are seats in the back, but anyone over the age of 12 will have trouble fitting back there, but I''m not planning no family any time soon and passengers... bah who cares about passengers.. :)

Model Reviewed: /Iroc-Z Camaro

Strength:

Amazingly fast off the line. Good looks, if you have a good body and paint. Can take new Mustangs.

Weakness:

All Irocs, with the 5.7L, did not come with a stick. Only the 5.0L came with the manual option. Still very fun to drive though.

Oh man, this car is fast. Especially with the 5.7L Tune Port Injection. It also has a G92 performance package (3.27 posi rear). Awesome handling, the best I have ever felt. I let my friend drive it and he said it handles better than his dad''s Acura Integra. This car will run low 14s and will take most stock cars on the road. If you have one and don''t feel the power I am describing your engine has lost compression or you need to adjust your transmission.
