Ford Mustang (2010 and older) Sports

DESCRIPTION

The Mustang has been redesigned for 2010. Fresh new sheet metal wraps around an updated interior, giving the icon a more modern look and feel.

The Mustang is available either as a coupe or convertible. Each is available with a V6 or a V8. The 210-hp 4.0L V6 carries over unchanged. The 4.6L V8 receives an increase in power - producing 315-hp for 2010. A five-speed manual transmission is standard; a five-speed automatic is optional. All Mustangs are equipped with standard electronic stability control and LED sequential tail lamps for enhanced safety.

Strength:

Looks great. The Mach 460 sound system sounds good for a factory installed unit. Lots of power from the v6. Like that exhaust sound. Laser Red color is greating looking. It just feels great when driving.

Weakness:

Not to crazy about those cup holders. Also why did Ford not extend the console right back to the rear seat for more storage, after all it is only a 4 seater. Glove box is not very big.

We have had this car for 11 months now and we have had no problems of any kind. I waited 30 years to buy a Mustang and it was worth the wait. This car has a lot of standard features and comes with a very hard to beat price.
Driving in a northern climate(snow)we equiped the Mustang with ABS and traction control and have not regreted it.
This car is right a home on our 400 series highways and just motors along at 140 KPH and has more to give. We ordered a Laser Red Mustang and receive lots of comments from people about it.
This car feels, rides and handles just about how I thought it would and that is alright by me.
Because there are just to two of us the backseat is not a problem, the same with the trunk. Although those fold down seat backs are a great idea.
We are heading to our eastern provinces this summer and looking forward to the drive in the Mustang.
In ending let me say this this is one sweet car and you will love owning Also there is only one other car I would replace it with, a 2001 Mustang GT.

Strength:

Looks great (turns heads and gets compliments everywhere I go)
Handles great (turns heads and gets people out of the road everywhere I go)
Good gas mileage and beats other 6 cyl's with no prob. Even some V8's are surprised to see the pony keep up.

Weakness:

small trunk space, no passenger power seat adjust

Mustangs are awesome. I especially enjoy the '65-'70 run, and the present 1999 - 2001 run. They are inexpensive, well built, good looking cars that are quicker than most other 4 or 6 cylider vehicles. Celica GTS's and Acura Integras are cow fodder to my V6 'stang, and though I can't beat them, I can be a pain in the butt to even Z28's and other "muscle" cars. It is fun to drive, and I get lots of girls checking it out. If people don't like Mustangs, it's because their daddy's bought them one instead of that $50,000 BMW they really wanted. :) Check out Mustangs, they're great! If you can't afford a GT - check out the V6, it is a healthy and fun little car at a great price!

Strength:

Very strong car. Still runs hard at 117k. Easy to modify. Enough trunk space for me. Ford did a good job on that car.

Weakness:

The traction is very poor it fish tails so you'd have to get subframe connectors. The heater takes awhile to heat up in the winters.

Yes i would recommend this car to someone who love to drive fast and save money.

Strength:

I liked the sound of the V8, and the looks.

Weakness:

About everything ease. Built ford tuff...........Engine went out with only 35,000 miles on it... Loud ,and we are not talking about the engine noise, but the body flex!! You name a problem it has it :(

A ok car, but there are much better cars out. I have driven a MR2 Turbo, RX7 Twin turbo, Firebird w/Ram, 3000GT, and now a Supra TT. I miss my MR2 and Firebird. But the supra has more power :P All these cars beat the Mustang in everything!!! I sold it!

I bought a 95 Supra Twin turbo. Man Much much faster!!!!!! Supra kills any Ford on the road! And I got it for the same price as the Ford (used supra 40K miles)Unless you hate jap. cars buy a toyota Supra instead! Oh and beleave it or not the back seat was bigger!!!! HAH

Strength:

1 - Great Gas Mileage. I'm a student and my car is easier on the petrol than a honda civic (new or old)
2 - Sports Car looks without sports car insurance rates.
3 - Dime a dozen parts
4 - Easy repairs for even beginner wrech-heads
5 - Excellent 5-spd gearbox. the Manny Tranny on this car really takes it up a notch

Weakness:

1 - BAD WINTER CAR. The car's lightweight combined with the RWD make it a very "liberal" car in slippery conditions, especially for inexperienced drivers
2 - I seem to go through back tires like a madman (Don't ASK)
3 - Draws a lot of unwarranted Police Attention. I get pulled over once every 2 weeks at least
4 - Sports Car mentality without the sports car to back it up

If you're a student i would totally recomend this car

This car is fast..kept up with a 2001 camaro SS.. he said he had his redlined!! The car looks mean and gets noticed. Also has a great leather interior and awesome Mach460 stereo.

Weakness:

The car can be dangerous in foul weather and uses gas, but who cares it was bought for the performance anyway.

If you can afford one and one is available(they are hard to find in good shape)I recommend this car to anyone, especially if they like to go fast!!!

Strength:

A lot of fun to drive
Quick with the 5 speed
Looks great with the top down
Inexpensive for a whole lot of car
Nice Trunk space
Handles well
Fun to drive
Has a back seat
The American Muscle Car - brute strength

Weakness:

Bad cup holder design
Could get bet gas milage (but then I would give up some of the HP - No thank you)

I love my mustang we looked around and found that the Mustang is one of the best deals out there especially in the convertible. Do get the apperance package (spolier) makes a big difference. If you want a fun car to drive and pretend your 16 then this car is for you. If your looking for a quiet car with lots of creature comforts go spend 30 to 50k on a Euorpean jobby.

Have a 1988 Mazda RX7 Convertible - the mazda handles a lot better but it is not as safe and doesn't have the same feel as the american muscle car - The ford has brute strength.

Jack

Strength:

Looks like it is fast. People that dont own one think they are the fastest thing on the road for some reason.

Weakness:

It wasnt a real muscle car. It had everything going for it but the drive train, and a poorly designed interior. It was no good, plain and simple.

This car gives american cars a bad rap. The motor had a very selsctive power band, with what little power it had anyway. The tires are hard to get spinning, there is no excuse for this with a manual shift and being a light weight car. Second gear rubber was extreemly hard to get, it you got lucky you might get a "chirp" out of the tires. The stupid, notchy, stubborn trani went out a bunch of times in under 20000 miles. There is a rediculious ammount of backlash in the drive train. The seats are not comfortable, and everything is just too small and there is no room to relax at all. Bad rear visibility with the spoiler option too. The "rack" as in rack and pinion steering busted after a couple thousand miles too. There is no muscle to this car and it revs up like a station wagon and then it takes way too long to come back down, that cant impress any hotties on the sidewalk. I just think these ford motors sound like junk anyways. Not a good choice for any reason but, that you want a Mustang. I cant think of why these sell more than a Camaro. It just dont make sense. A real junky crate if you ask me.

I dont know, a Camaro is a lot faster and I just like them better, cheaper too.
