Definetly the looks. I think that this was the best looking car from the 80's. The interior is pretty cool too. It handles superbly.

It doesn't accelerate very fast in first gear, but it hits hard in second and even harder in third. Obviously, the fact that I bought it with a blown head gasket, but I got it fixed cheap and I hope he did a good enough job to last me a little longer.

When I test drove it, it was awesome, so I went ahead and bought it. On the way home(2 1/2 hour drive) it overheated. I had bought it with an already blown head gasket. Luckily, I found a mechanic that did it for only $575.00! Other than that it is a very awesome car. The previous owner had seat covers on the seats for 13 years, so the seats were in perfect condition except for one small tear on the drivers side seat. I would recommend this car for anybody that wants a great looking car for a great price because they aren't that expensive to buy, and it's a Toyota. They are the most reliable cars you can but.

The only other car that I have ever driven that was even close was a '00 Taurus with the 200hp V6. This is definetly a better car.(Taurus' are pretty crappy unless they are a SHO.

this is a great sports car it can still burn todays modern rice burners and can keep up with todays modern sports cars.my friend has a 93 300zx 3.0 v6 and i can smoke him. for 16 years old can still burn the tires up.

i bought this car from the first owner with 180k miles on it. the car has been in great shape in and out. this is a nonturbo model,so no headgasket problem. The only problem it had when i bought was leaking valve cover gasket. engine was running great,like new. The car is VERY solid compared to 80s vette, mustangs, camaros. no body twists, rattles of any kind. the 4 wheel double wishbone suspension makes it track any road surface and corners. great usefull interior and ergonomics. mine is a five speed, and i managed to do 140mph in it at 6000rpm for about 5 miles. However the piston rod bearings didn't handle it, now they need to be replaced. the engine has a laud knocking in it. the cause: i used 10w30 oil instead of 10w40 and the timing was not at its peak.
