Strength:

Roomy design, great headroom, comfortable, nice extras.

Weakness:

The mechanical design is lacking. Poor gas milage. Does not live up to a Buick name.

Worst car ever owned! Bought Certified Used from dealer as Exec Car w/5,400 mi.-currently 51,000 after 3yrs. By 7,000 had exhaust replaced. To date had 5 Hub Bearings replaced. Head Gasket replaced at 41,000. Struts on lift gate malfunctioned causing the hatch to hit me in the head. Constantly has uncommanded ABS actvitiy which then disables the AWD. Tie Rods replaced at 50,000. 4 sets of brakes (rotor/drums), OnStar Module, Parking Brake wouldn't disengage, and just yesterday, the handle to close the liftage just...tore off!
Ergonimcally, this car has ample headroom, great styling, and comfy seating and room. But mechanically, WHAT A NIGHTMARE! Buy at your own discretion.

Strength:

It is a beautiful car, but looks are deceiving!!!

Weakness:

Everything under the hood and under the body. Everything that is mechanical!

This is by far the vehicle with the most repairs in the world!!! I have had to replace the engine, the air conditioner the drive shaft, and the transmission is going out! I only have 55,000 miles on this car and I can't pay anyone to take it from me! I am spending more money to repair the car than it is worth! I couldn't be more unhappy with a vehicle! The extended warrantys do not cover anything! The dealership and GM are both not backing their product!!! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!

Strength:

nice riding, good gas milage for suv, seats very comfortable, nice that back seats recline a little, home link is really cool, very good motor

Weakness:

rear cargo plastic scratches two easy, a rear power assitted hatch would be very nice

I don't like this car, I love it. Most people I talk to who have one say the same thing. I have the cx plus package with the power moon roof. The home link is very convient. The extra light the moon roof adds really give you that Gee I have a lot of room in here feeling. It rides like a buick (comfortable) and handles really well. Some reviewers say that it's under powered but I say it's a v6 that gets good gas milage, how fast do you need to accelerate. And I'm saying that as a 32 year old. My personal feeling is it has plenty of get up for passing. I bought it with 24,000 miles and it has now 49,000. The only problems thus far is the right drive axle seal was leaking at about 34,000 miles and was replaced under warrenty. The hatch back interior door handle as broken on one side, which is typical on most GM rear hatch door. It would be really nice if that door was power assitted. So far this as been a great vehicle that I hope to have around for years. This is a very good alternative if you can't afford a honda pilot, or toyta highlander and is way better than a Jeep Grand Cherkee or ford explorer.

Strength:

lots of room, ease of getting in and out

Weakness:

none yet

Just bought this vehicle. I love it!! Leather seats, OnStar, XM Radio, Third row seat, VERY ROOMY and comfy. I have had a Roadmaster wagon for 16 yrs, went to a Saturn L200 for the past year. Had to get back to a bigger Buick for elderly parents to get in and out of. VERY easy to get in and out. Lots of room in back seat for mom's bad knees.
I had shopped online for this very vehicle. I knew exactly what I wanted: White, Leather Seats, and third row seat. This deal was better than any of the huge online car lots.
My local dealer got one in and I bought it.
If you are looking for comfort and lots of room, this is just the ticket!

And by the way, I still have my 1991 Buick Roadmaster wagon. Just couldnt part with it!!

Strength:

Comfort, features, insurance is very reasonable because of high safety rating.

Weakness:

Better gas mileage would be an improvement, but I knew an SUV wouldn't get great gas mileage when I bought the car. No trunk/cargo space when third row seat is up.

I just got my Rendezvous and I love it! It has leather seats, rear parking assist, satellite radio, driver's information center, third row seat, faux wood grain dash, automatic climate control, traction control, side air bags - everything I could possibly want with 9,360 miles! We test drove many cars before settling on the Rendezvous. It was by far the most comfortable of all the cars we drove.

We test drove Toyota Highlander, Chevy Equinox, Pontiac Torrent, Kia Sorrento - this car was by far the most comfortable and the most bang for the buck.

Strength:

comfortable to drive and ride in, great A/C and heat, powerful 6-cyl. engine with great acceleration, dependable, economical (except for gas mileage).

Weakness:

Gas mileage is a little lower than I'd expect from this size car... 22-23 MPG hwy and right at 20 MPG in town.

Bought 1 yr old dealer demo car with 20000 miles on it, warranty continued to 36000 miles. I love this car! It handles extremely well. It is very comfortable on long car trips - husband has disabling back injury and can ride in this car with no pain. Backseat legroom is great. Back storage is incredible - we don't have 3rd seat - I've hauled lots of stuff in this car. I've driven big SUVs for 30 years and this car can hang with them in comfort and handling ability. Nothing has broken or failed yet, so I'll call it dependable as well. I now have 48000 miles on this car.

good ride, good creature comforts.

Weakness:

gas guage goes crazy, and best mileage is 24 on highway.

fine car , however gas guage goes crazy after tank reaches half. It moves as you go up a hill or just bounces around. The dealership did all they could and they said it was a tech problem that GM is working on. I called Gm and they said this was acceptable on the vehicle. I told them it is unacceptable. Our family is lifelong gm buyers and this iis what we get from them. Toyota here we come.
