Strength:

Powerful 4.3 Vortec that is a Road-Tripping-Machine! Plenty of room for everything you can think of.

Weakness:

The value is way lower than it should be for such a nice 4X4.

Very dependable for the most part. Driven 60,000 each year with few problems. It will last me forever I believe as long as I keep up with oil changes and wash it frequently.

No comparison with Ford Explorer. Explorers are ugly with a boxy body style and basic interior with an annoying instrument panel.

Strength:

Its good on gas for the first 5 years. Always starts no matter the weather. Great in the snow and ice. Turning radius is GREAT. Interior is durable. Nice set up for changing your own oil.

Weakness:

Bad paint. Was red now all oxidized. Bad rims...peeling. Bad service from Chevy. Windshield wiper goes one when using turn signal.Replaced head gasket with less than 5,000 miles. Engine light stays on because...[so they tell me] "sensitive computer". SO now I dont know when the CHECK ENGINE SOON...means "Check Engine Soon"!!! I wouldnt get another truck with a tire on the outside. Got rear ended - if tire wasnt there I would have had no damage. Always have had oil problems. Only have 80,000 on it now. Value is low.

I always wanted a Chevy Truck. Drove it off the showroom floor.

Strength:

Ample power. Power Everything, cruise, Lots of leg room in the back even with the front seat all the way back. Also LOADS of storage in the back.

Weakness:

Weak Balljoints and Poor paint.

I have had this vehicle for almost 100K Km's and it runs great. It hasn't cost me much to run and I've loaded it down with 800 lbs worth of equipment inside and it just sits there and takes it. The 4.3 L V6 is more than enough for it and it's Complemented by it's 4x4 drive system. I must admit the digital dash is a little frustrating but, once you get into the nutz and bolts of it; it really isn't that hard to use. This is my primary vehicle and it certainly doesn't owe me. Especially considering it's almost 12yrs old.

Strength:

Looks nice inside and out

Weakness:

GM not standing behind what they sell

I have a nice looking Blazer inside and out But It don't run I did my oil changes every 3000 miles, and had the cooling system flushed twice, 2 new thermostates put in and it still over heated the repair shop could not find out what was wrong until the engine blew and GM won't stand behind it and help with the cost of a new engine and cooling system

Strength:

Gas Mileage,Handles like a car,Quiet,Great off Road.

Weakness:

Back seat is cramped,

I have never owned a better vehicle. I have had it out in the desert and in some very rough roads in colorado and at 35000 miles I have yet to have one complaint.
I get from 23 to 26 miles to the gallon. It is very handy in that I use it to haul equipment around and just put up the seats and you have comfortable seating for 5 people.

Strength:

4.3 vortech has great power,Good ride, comfy seats, the push button 4wd,and the power, comfortable back seat for a 2dr

Weakness:

ball joints, and that is about it,

****** Great vehicle, I have 103,000 miles and it runs like a charm, I am so impressed with the acceleration and the power of that vortech is just impressive. I think that the 94 s10 blazer is one of the best older style blazer because they have most of the kinks worked out of the older models.

i guess if i had to nitpick, i could say i'd wish it had better gas mileage, but no suv gets great gas mileage

Great vehicle, great SUV--It looks great, drives great, handles well, nice sound system, no problems to speak of, all i do is fill the gas tank and change the oil, and it drives like it did when i drove it off the showroom floor.
