Nice lines. Good looking colors. I will have a new driver in the family this year so the lack of power is a benefit. Wheels look good with the vehicle. Tire size fits the QX4 look. Woodgrain dash. Heated seats. 4 wheel drive. Full size spare. Bose stero is ok. The 1999.5 has no transfer case lever... its a button on the dash now. But the second lever is ok next to the transmission lever. Seats ''sit'' great.

Lack of power. Engine noisy even under moderate accerlation. I am 5''11" tall and have no head room in the back seat. Windshield wiper control arm is too close to the steering wheel. Get a trailer hitch to hide the spare tire. Had the blower motor replaced (under warranty). Got a loaner car from Infiniti while the QX4 was in the shop.

Its an overall, nice SUV. We got a tu-tone white w/polar trim and a beigh interior. Great looking since the original owner took care of it. We bought it with 43,000 miles and it really looks like new. Even drives just like a new QX4.

Powerfull 240hp V6 Tight handling on road at speed (80+mph) Solid build quality and reference history. Good safety ratings for 2001 and 2002 models. Looks like an SUV...not a minivan.

Not much really. Rear end could be redesigned to differentiate from Pathfinder. Inside doorhandles are cheap.

I''ve had my 2002 Silver QX4 for 2 days and 250 miles. I''ll update my review after several Tahoe trips and 1000 miles. I bought mine with the Premium Package, Heated Seats Package, Sunroof, and Wind Deflector.

Reliability & Luxury appointments.

Gas mileage & underpowered engine.

Bought it with 87,000km and now have 145,000. Aside from regular oil changes, a tune-up and new tires this baby hasn''t had any other repair required. I love it. The gas milegae may be high but it is off-set by it''s relaibility savings. The only other thing that disappointed my was the poor performance but I fixed that by adding a hi-perf chip & installing a performamnce exhaust system.

Black on Black exterior with Black Leather is hot! Jaws drop from people who look inside the car. Power is great, lots of room in front seats, 4WD system is great, the Stereo had a 6 Disk in Dash changer. Very nice! Digital/Analog dash is awesome (Black till you turn the key and WHAM, it all lights up)

Cramped backseat. DVD system can only be viewed by backseat people. Gas Mileage sucks... but again price of entry.

Simply superb! My Black on Black QX4 is the perfect car for someone looking for a mid-size luxary SUV that actually is a SUV. The interior is simply the most awesome interior in any SUV - Stunning as my neighbor says. Read Birds-eye Maple wood on dash sets it off. Power excellent around town and on Interstate on ramps. Xenon Headlamps are super bright and everyone knows when I pull on to the street. I really, really like the new styling - very classy. I looked at MidSize Luxary SUVs, and there simply are not ANY like the QX4 in the price range. The Acura MDX is a minivan, the Lexus RX300 is worse than a minivan, the GMC Denali lacked that special something, and the Lincoln Navigator is WAYYYY too big. Toyota 4Runner doesn''t really have the class and is dated.

It has a nice look to it. Ive been through some pretty hard core off-roading in it and i havnt found any open mud field that 4 low couldnt get me out of

The engen, as most nissans, is very under powered. This suv only has a 25 lbs/hp. I do not like the limited slip diffrential at all, I would much rather have a posi track, I was dooing some off roading and my two left tires got stuck in a 12 inch tractor track filled with water and the two right tires were firm on solid ground and they did not move, even in 4 low. the left tires were just spinning, had to get a tow truck. Also there is absolutly nothing you can do to this car after market, Ive been to every off-road and performance store in the city and all of them said sell it and get a chevy. The head room in the back is insufficient. The car maxes out at only 100 mph and my friends pussy nissan sentra beat me in the long run, in a race, which a new chip will fix for $300 and after I offroaded in it for the first time it started this anoying squeek that wont go away. Bose system could be louder. Lacks many of the luxuris that other cars offer. Too small for a man, looks to chickish

In conclucion the car is pretty nice but it does not have enough power as is i will probally have to put in alot of time and money to make it faster and more offroadey but it is worth it. Its also nice to be the only one around with this car.
