Strength:

good acceleration up to 40. i went mudding in a park after 3 days of rain and was in ankle high mud that a s 10 got stuck in easily and it wasnt in the deep stuff. i switched to auto and drove through it easily. interior rocks . barely any one has qx4s especially teenagers. turning radius is nice. customer assitance is good.

Weakness:

not to many addons. needs more bass in system. acceleration 40-100 terrible. to merge on the interstate u must floor it. running boards get in the way. need auto sun roof opener like the auto drive side window opener.

i am only 16 and this is my first car. i may not have to much experience driving many cars, but i do know the facts. the infiniti is way too under powered, my bros I4 tacoma has around 140 hp and it only cost 18000 new, while the qx 4 cost 22000 used and it only has 168 hp, i think for the amount u pay u should get some more horses. i can easily beat my bros tacoma in a race 0-40 but then on i tihnk he has me considering the qx4 does 0-60 in a pitiful 12sec and 0-100 in 42sec u need 10 mi to get up to 100. i tihnk it has good acceleration up to 40 . the interior rocks , but sound system could use a sub. 4x4 rocks the house. interior rocks but running boards get in the way.

Looks. It has a very nice look to it.
Price

Weakness:

Very gutless. It has poor acceleration and handles klunky.
It has also been in the shop 6 times for engine and trany trouble.

I would not reccomend this vehicle. In fact I am selling mine while I can still get some money for it.

Strength:

Very roomy, sweet leather, nice wood trim, four wheel drive system rocks!

Weakness:

The engine. This thing is very dissapointing, they say it has 240 horse power the way this thing drives Id say they added an extra "0" at the end of that statement by accident. In addition the noise that this thing makes is gross. The engine sounds like it's drowning on its own oil when you barely get the thing past 3 grande on the tach. Come on Infiniti this engine is much better from the last one you put it the QX4 but still Id say you have a lot of room for improvement before you get me satisfied with this this powerplant!

it drives well, and corners ok for a non-BMW SUV but the engine will not impress anybody who is looking for some serious cahones in their truck. Its a very sweet car i just dont like the engine.

Strength:

Styling, ride, power

Weakness:

Navigation system, Gas mileage

I purchased the $2,000 navigation system expecting it to "navigate" the entire US. This is not the case. It only covers a small (4 state) area. If you want US coverage, you must purchase 8 more cds at a cost of $130 each. I think this is deceptive and a rip-off. It should be marketed as a "limited" navigation system. Gas mileage sucks!

-4th Acceleration is Outstanding!
-5th Tons of Positive feedback from other drivers!

Other than the price of the $2000 navigation system... can't think of anything.

This is my first car and have been very happy with it, next week I'm going to get a BMW X5, then the next week maybe a BMW Z8 then see how they compare with my other cars. I'll keep you posted

Strength:

Nice look and good options.

Weakness:

Poor HP.
Climate control fan makes noise (according to the Shen Infiniti dealer it is normal).
Poor service.

This is my first SUV. I have driven other SUVs (rental) and found them much better than this WHITE ELEPHANT. The Climate Control Fan makes terrible noise at slow speed, which will give a headache. I took it down to the local dealer and they said it's normal. In addition, the Service Engine Soon light came on twice in two months and it took the dealer 2 weeks to find the part and fix it. I was given a loaner for only the day they took this car for service. I drove the with the broken part and I don't what else I damage while driving with the bad part. The car was still under warranty (only 38,000 miles). I will never recommend anybody to buy this kind of junk for this price. If you have the money, please go with TOYOTA or LEXUS. Trust me this car is totally a junk.

Strength:

Awesome interior, Leather is beautiful. Bose system is sweet, Controls and instumentation is much, much better than previous models. The new xenon head light make a huge difference in night driving. Power and ride has great improvement and for the money I don't think there is a better SUV out there.

Weakness:

Not much to complain about. Back seat is abit tight.

For the money the QX4 beats the others. The interior has been changed for the better and I recommend looking at the black on black. It is hot. the performance is great and gives me a feeling of being in a luxury car. The service you get from Infiniti help me make up my mind when purchasing this car. They did everything but have SEX with me and you cant knock or overlook customer satisfaction. I had a 1998 QX4 and this model year blows that away in all areas including looks. You need to see the 2 side by side and its easy to see that Infiniti put some thought into the changes.

Test drove all the others. Its off rode abilities make this my choice over the others in this class, BMW is way too expensive and the dealers are asking above sticker. I am no idiot. Lexus is kinda girlish and I hate the benz. It did nothing for me.

Model Reviewed: QX4

Strength:

Smooth, Quiet, solid feel. Even as heavy as it is the engine moves the vehicle just fine even at altitude.
Handles GREAT in the snow.

Weakness:

Gas mileage is poor.
Just a few more items would make it a complete luxury vehicle; headlight washers would be nice, dual climate control, rear passenger vent, third row seat option.

We were in the market to replace our Trooper. We wanted an SUV with all the amenities. But we also did not want to spend 50k. After test driving several vehicles, we found the QX4 to be the most solid stable ride.

I feel the strongest point of the vehicle is its snow handling ability. One day we had freezing drizzle which caused the roads to ice over then we had a few inches of snow on top of that. In Auto 4, the QX4 was solid. No slipping and sliding. Felt completely in control. When I got out and stepped on the driveway it was completely slick was was the street, but the QX never faltered. Even when we had 6 inches on local streets and the freeway was covered in hardpacked snow, the QX never exhibited any ill behavior. I no longer "white-knuckle" it driving in the snow.

Owned a Trooper. The QX4 is in a completely different league. When shopping cosidered the Land Rover Disco II, LX300, and ML320. The QX4 seemed to offer the most for the dollar.

Weakness:

Gas mileage.

This vehicle is totally different from the 1997-2000. It's powerful, roomy, luxurious, comfortable and reliable. It's been only a month since I purchased this vehicle.I have been getting many attentions from people. I am 100% satisfied with my car. No regrets.
