Jeep Wrangler
Strength:
Very dependable and a strong built vehicle.
Weakness:
I wish one day they would make a model with an electric softtop Excellant on or off road. Easy to work on when accesory's are wanted. Similar Products Used: All other vehicles in its class have failed either me or friends. The style has been attempted to be copied by many manufacturers, but nothing has compared to the Wrangler |

Strength:
easy to work on, fun, simple construction, cheap aftermarket upgrades, lots of fun, off-road capability, did i say fun?
Weakness:
none I got my YJ a few month back and enjoyed every day. i already installed Rubicon Express 4.5 Extreme Duty lift kit, AA SYE, Tom Wood's driveshaft, etc. I did all the work myself, it was that easy. Similar Products Used: None |

Best Rockcrawler
Weakness:
Sucks a lot of gas I love my jeep. Everybody should have one. And keep those greenies from closing public lands! Jeep is probably the best choice vehicle if you like to work on it, modify suspension components or want to try your own ideas. There are a lot of aftermarket companies who support jeep enthusiasts with thousands of product available, ranging from lift kits and skid plates to soft tops and lightening. Great off-road! Most fun vehicle I've owned. Babe-magnet! Great reliability. I have had no warranty related issues. 52,000 in 3 years and still running strong. I fully expect to get over 200k out of the motor.
Weakness:
Kinda' small for the family stuff. I've been driving my Jeep for three years now. No major problems, and it is a blast to drive. I got bit by the Jeep bug a long time ago. Now I'm a die-hard off-road driver (Tread Lightly!), and Jeep fan. I am never going to sell my Jeep! It truely is as fun as it looks. Not to mention the comradery of Jeep owners. Through "Jeeping" I've met people from all across the country, as well as a few from Europe. Similar Products Used: I've had Chevy pickups in the past. No comparison. I got bored with them quickly. The only advantage was towing ability, and cargo space. |

First and foremost.... IT IS A JEEP!!!!
Weakness:
Lack of a real rear locker as a factory option. The Trash Lok is not worth a damn.... The statement :It's A Jeep Thing, You Wouldn't Understand" is true... Everything else is just a car!!! Similar Products Used: Ford Bronco II, Ford Bronco... No comparison... The Jeep out paces EVERYONE OF THEM!!!! |

Jeep TJ Wrangler
Strength:
Short wheelbase, high ground clearance, 2.72 low-range, smooth ride onroad, great articulation offroad.
Weakness:
None - it fulfills its intended purpose to a T. I could not be more enthusiastic in my recommendation of the Jeep TJ Wrangler as both a commuter vehicle and as a weekend offroader. The coil-spring suspension rides well onroad and allows amazing articulation when four-wheeling. In my 2+ years of Jeep ownership, not even once have I encountered a single maintenance problem. It still runs like a top. Just as important, the community of Jeep owners in my area is a very close-knit group. Becoming a part of this web of owners brings a certain sense of pride in the vehicle that cannot be found with other SUV's. The Jeep is second to none in the sport utility category. Similar Products Used: Far more capable offroad than any other four-wheel drive vehicle I've driven. |

Strength:
superior off road performance! I've yet to drive another vehicle that can perform as well as the wrangler. in the stock form, a brand new TJ wrangler feels like a sports car until you hit the dirt, where it will transform into an all terrain animal! and you have to love a 4x4 convertable!
Weakness:
lack of towing capabilities, nature of the short wheel base, which is part of the reason why it is superior off road. this is my second Wrangler that I have owned. I am one of the few who uses the 4 wheel drive system to it's limits, and I have nothing but good things to say about it. I love everything about my Jeep. and the options availible to customize are limited only by your imagination and budget. Similar Products Used: 3 Nissan pickups, don't even come close |

YJ Rio Grande
Strength:
Great aftermarket. Power with all motors. It's a Jeep.
Weakness:
Could use a stronger axles, but I am abusing them. (33" Boggers) Rough ride. I love my Jeep. It is a tank and rides like one too. It's a 1995 YJ with a 4" spring lift and 33x14" Super Swamper Boggers. My Jeep will go anywhere I point it. My little 4 banger turns the 33's without any problem. It does lack highway power. 5th gear is pretty much useless, but it's a Jeep, not an indy car. It's not meant to be fast. Similar Products Used: None |

Jeep TJ
Strength:
Unmatched off road capability in stock configuration.
Weakness:
Dash it to car like. This is a great daily driver. I put over 50K miles on mine in it's first two years. The ride is great, it drives wonderfully, even at highway speeds. Comfortable and a convertible. Nothing makes a day better than ridding with the top down. Then you take it off road..... Nothing can compare to it's off road ability's. This thing will go anywhere. Then there is the unbelievable amount of accessories available for the Jeep. You can customize it to fit your personality, in a way that no other vehicle can match. And then you have all of camaraderie that comes with owning a Jeep. Now, that's a Jeep thing..... Similar Products Used: Nothing compares, a Defender 90 or Hummer are close in performance off of the showroom floor. But you can put a few dollars into upgrades and make a Jeep much better than either, and still have spent a lot less than a Defender 90 or Hummer would cost. |
