Strength:

Style, comfort, V6, roomy, very nice ride and gas mileage is pretty good!

Weakness:

I had to get my radio replaced twice.

Awesome SUV!!! The Best! I recommend getting the V6! The V6 makes it a rocket! This is my first Toyota and I love it!

I used to have a Honda Accord, but I decided to trade it in because I need a little more room b/c I have 3 dogs etc.
I test drove the new CR-V which was nice but not roomy like the Rav 4 and I didn't like that the CR-V did not come in a V6.

Strength:

Good mileage (28-32)very comfortable, I recently had back surgery and never have a problem with comfort, easy in and out access, my 85 YO Mother In Law loves it, easy parking, smooth, quit ride. I can go on and on.

Weakness:

Back window gets dirty quickly, back door would be easier to use were it hinged on opposite side. Minor thing.

Awesome crossover rig, handles snow, mud, rain slick roads and easily carries everything I can jam in the back. Highway mileage is 30-32 if I keep my foot out of the 4 cyl. engine. Easy to change oil, lube and all fluids, well put together engine compartment. I have driven at 25 MPH through whiteouts in 18 inches of snow and have never felt safer in my life.

it's only about mor ethan amonth since I purchased it and I noticed that there are already noise coming from the parts of the vehicles like inside the dash board. it seems there are loose parts inside it.

In general, I'm not very happy with this new car

I love my Toyota Rav4. The right is so quiet, it handles beautifully, is great on gas and it looks so nice. It is a nice green color called Everglade Metallic. It is also very roomy, it appears much bigger than its earlier counterparts. There really isn't much to complain about with it. The last car I had was a Honda Civic. It never left me stranded, always started no matter how hot or cold. I was very hard on that car too! I hope I have the same experience with my safe fun Toyota! I think I've changed loyalties to Toyota!

Strength:

Gas mileage okay so far. Room and storage adequate.

Weakness:

Audio system is terrible. I can not get the same FM stations I used to listen to without static and noise you would expect when under large power lines (none where I'm getting the noise). My old car did not experience this interference, nor do my husband's truck, son's or daughter's vehicles or people I have asked who work in my building. Had I know the reception was lousy when I tried the car out I would not have purchased it. Toyota did try a new radio. No change. I'm told it seems to be a problem within the vehicle's design and there is nothing further they can do!!!

I went to Toyota to look at their Hybrid cars. My husband is too tall for the Prius (my first choice) so we tried a Rav4. I liked the SUV height and the mileage predicted for the Rav. My husband test drove it and was satisfied with the engine performance. We negotiated a price and because of Toyota's reliability decided this is the vehicle we would get.

Strength:

Roomy, powerful, quiet, good handling, safety, reliability, economy, etc.

Weakness:

Limited towing capabilities... who cares...I don't own a boat.

I have only owned this car for three weeks, I love it. It has enough interior room for what I need. It handles great, with the new V-6 engine, it has wonderful acceleration. The power allows me to pass slow Big Rigs up hill while driving in the mountains. Best of all, I drove it to the beach and averaged 29.7 mpg. Around town and the local country side, I average 23 mpg.

This is a great vehicle. It's definitely the best vehicle I've ever owned. there's PLENTY of room and comfort, the horse power is actually higher than a 4 cylinder Tacoma, not to mention that RAV4 gets far better mileage than a Tacoma. I would HIGHLY recommend this vehicle to anyone who's tired of the picup truck market and who's mindset is more focused on practicality and being environmentally friendly.
