500Watt RMS !!!!! Gonna need a to buy earplugs !!!!! Wicked PRICE !!!
Weakness:
None as of yet.. But I don't expect any 189.00 CANADIAN FUNDS!! that would be about 100USD... I can't wait to put this amp in. I think it may even blow my brand new MTX thundercast 1000's 10". They are each 350Watts RMS and 1000 PEAK.. For the price that I paid.. I would figure they didn't know exactly what they were selling... they pluged it into my MTX 6000's 10 and it pounded with the gain almost at 0... JL, underrated power, smaller size, BASS EQUALIZATION, Class D
Weakness:
Only one I can think of is that if you don't know what you're doing, the bass EQ will only be bad for you. It's better to be left to an expert to tune it correctly for optimal settings. This is, by far, the best amp that I have ever put in my car. Rated at 500 watts, it can push out around 640 at 3 ohms going to my JL 12W7. This setup is none less than insane. none! OMG, best amp on the market in my opinion. Extremly loud and clean.Works well with my Cerwin Vega's. If I could I'd buy ten of these. |

Excellent output at a wide range of ohm configurations. Various adjustments to fine-tune the sound to the speakers and the vehicle.
Weakness:
Plenty of adjustment options means there are many ways to make it sound bad if you don't know what you're doing. Only a weakness if you want something simple and brainless. Fine piece of audio machinery. JL knows what they're doing. This amp gives the user a wide variety of adjustments to customize the sound precisely to the speakers and the vehicle. MOUNTING IT IS KIND OF A PAIN,AND I WISH THE SPEAKER WIRE TERMINALS WERE EASY,ER. BECASE I HAVE VERY LITTLE SPACE TO WORK IN. I GOT THIS IN MARCH 02 AND I HAD IT ON A SINGLE 02 SL7. BLEW IT BECAUSE OF BREAK IN TIME. BUT I GOT ANOTHER AND HIT 142.7 IN A PORTED KICKER PREFABED BOX MY FIRST TIME OUT,HIT REALY HARD FOR ONE 12 BUT I WANTED MORE,SO I GOT 3 10'SL7'S,IN A SEALED BOX IN MY 97 NISSAN ALTIMA, AND IT PUSHES THEM WITH OUT EVEN BREAKING A SWEAT HITS TWICE AS HARD.THE DAY AFTER I BOUGHT THEM I HIT 149.9. if u can find ne let me know i have this amp hooked up to 2 rockford fosgate punch hx2's and i blew out my back window i had it measured at 149.6 db's and it was completly pounding my ear drums i strongly reccomend this amp it is worth the extra money this amp cranks out what it sais and a whole lot more Similar Products Used: not even close |

Very good clean signal to the subs. All in All it just sounds clean.
Weakness:
Nothing that i know of, except it would be better to buy this thing at a sale price This amp kicks ass, I love this damn thing. I have amped it to almost everything. (2) JL W3 12's, (1) 15 inch Solo Baric L7. Not at one time off course. But nomatter what I run it to the thing kicks out a loud clean bass. I Have also ran it to (2) MTX 8000 12's. I played a trick on my boy a while back. He has (1) 10 inch JL W0 and I ran the amp to that when I borrowed his car one day and I blew it to pieces. Smoke started to come out and I smelled something burning. It was hella funny. He had a warranty and he wanted his money back. So I helped him out in a way he just didn't know it. Similar Products Used: Sony 760, Cheap MTX Amp, JBL 600.1, Fosgate 500.2, and some other weak kenwood amp. |

500 Watts at any ohm. Great brushed metal look and alot of equalizer options.
Weakness:
rather pricey but well worth it. I did alot of researching before I decided on this amp. But all i can say after getting it installed is that its awesome. It provides seemeless power without even getting hot. I have it driving two 10w3v2's and they hit really hard. I even got a headache because the amp was putting out such clean power. Parametric eq, class d, nice looks, single edge heat sink, nice connectors, loads of power....
Weakness:
None except that the mounting holes are not too conviniently located. Otherwise the best damn amp i ever owned..... Well guys, when i buy i buy technology. This is the most technologically refined amplifier in production since the high current phase. This amp has a fully parametric eq that allows shaping of the sound and fine tuning. the amp shells out a pure 500 watts or even more.
