Strength:

Good price, good power, cool light, I like the metalic blue color. Easy installation. Not too big.

Weakness:

Some distortion, but overall not too many weaknesses.

I recommend this amplifier because it a god starting amplifier. Good for people with budgets. I probably should have gone with the 1200w version. but this was good.

Strength:

Cheap, cool light, good quality sound

Weakness:

low on power, the connections are a bit troublesome because they require tools

I paid $120 for it from Crutchfield because I cut a deal but you should be able to find it for that price or less now. It is good for the money and I never had any problems for it. I don't turn my music up to extremely high levels so that could pose problems like what I've read in other reviews. If you have a sub or some good 6 X 9's it should give you solid performance for the money.

Strength:

Not much, they're inexpensive, but quality suffers.

Weakness:

Poor quality.

I wouldn't recommend the Profile amps. I had trouble with one right out of the box, and the replacement died not long after installation. Replaced with a USAcoustics and have been trouble free since. Maybe I got into a bad batch, but the quality still just isn't there. Buy a USAcoustics instead.

Strength:

It is not expensive! It puts out a good watts to a mtx thunder 12" 5000. I dont think that it puts out 300rms like it says but I think that it powers my sub perfectly. I would guess about 250

Weakness:

NOthing! It was a great purchase for me.

I think that anyone who is just starting out with car audio, should look into this amp. It is quite reliable. It is cheap which was key for me at the time. It is great to power one sub. I have not heard it with two though. I recomend this amp for sure. If you want competition sound I would not recomend it though. If you are just looking for some power for a sub so it sounds good this is the one.

Strength:

Great price, never cuts out, cool metallic blue & red LED,
GREAT RMS power per dollar.

Weakness:

I have heard it has high distortion, but if you are running off speaker level inputs then it has no effect whatsover, and the distortion is barely noticable.

pay between 104 at netmarket.com, 120 at electronicsoutpost.com, 120-130 at themegasale.com, and 140 at crutchfield (crutchfield is the worst ripoff)

Strength:

good for people on a budget

Weakness:

distorts, cant push very powerful subs

i paid 110 for it and it was well worth it, i ran 2 12's for about 3 months, the only bad thing is that it would cut out when the bass goes low, overall not a bad amp though, especially for the cost

Strength:

Reliable- has never cut out on me. Stays cool, even in the summer. The new blue model looks really cool, and the cost is way less than half of the competitors.

Weakness:

nothing

I paid $120 and it was the best of my car audio purchases. I have had it for a year and it has worked perfectly the whole time. I would reccommend it to anyone who wants clear, reliable, and good power at a low cost.

I can't believe Rockford Fosgate can sell something that's far worse for way more money. My friend's Rockford cuts out on him all the time, and he paid over 5 times what I did for less watts.

Strength:

Puts out pretty good power bridged to one sub.
I like the red light on the top.

Weakness:

Gain does seem to increase the distortion.

I admit, this is my first car amp.
It does sound pretty good. If you turn the gain
knob up, it does seem to increase the distortion
though. I have been playing it constantly over
the past week and have not had a problem. I have
it powering one 10" sub in a small sealed box.
I would recommend it if you want to power one sub.
I dont know about it powering two though, I have not
heard it do that yet. If I ever try it out, I will post
another review.
It seems like a really good choice for someone just starting
out in car audio, or someone looking to compliment the
bass in their system. For $139.95 through Crutchfield, you
can't really go wrong with it.

Strength:

That Red Light. :P. Anyway it puts out enought watts to get a woofer going the amp that i had cost me 80 bucks.

Weakness:

To much distorion. The gain should be called the distortion knob because all it does is turn up distortion

Ok this amp cost me 80 bones. It was worth it yet i will never buy another one. This amp puts out too much distortion. The only reason i would ever consider putting it in to my car again is cause the red light:) But they are durable little amps my friends have ran some for 3 years with no problems but man i would puke from all that distortion. If you plan on buying this amp dont listen to any higher quality amps cuase you will never want to go back
