Strength:

it does what it does well. It never has any problems. I have run it at high levels since i got it and never had one problem. compared to the amps i had in the past (Kenwood, US acoustics) I think this is a much better amp. especially for the money. And don't forget that awsome red light strip. that little thing will light up your trunk.

Weakness:

None that i can tell, it never has cut out on me or had any problems at all.

absolutly great amp and the price makes it ever better.

Strength:

Cheap, Clear, Cheap

Weakness:

Not as cool looking as the California. Power and ground connections not as fun as California, but same as most brands.

I had it hooked to two mobile authority 10s, worked for it's intended purpose great. But then, I got bored. I hooked it to power 6 mobile authority 10's. It was dang loud and it was clear, until I turned it up (way way way up). I was running full volume to 2 12 ohm and it couldn't do it, too many subs, too many ohms. Now it powers a single cruch 12 and it goes louder than I need it to, louder than I can stand. I would recomend this amp to any one, I have had no probs with it, it doesn't get hot, and it is cheap. Profile has figured out how to make a quality product for around $.50/watt RMS.

Crunch???: i dunno, just as loud as mine, but mine was clearer.

Strength:

1. 2-year warranty, Fosgate doesn't offer that!
2. 12+ bass boost at 45Hz.
3. High-pass and low-pass variable crossover frequency.
4. 2-ohm stable in stereo.
5. Thermal & overload protection. Amp will simply turn off if too hot.
6. Gold-plated, high-current cable inputs meaning maximum current transfer.

Weakness:

None

I have always used Profile amplifiers in every car that I've ever owned. I always think that people are wasting their money by going with the bigger-named brands like Fosgate, Sony, etc. Profile is without a doubt the best bang for your buck. I took electronics for 2 years while I was in high school and have worked on the inside of these amps and they are great quality. I sold some of my older ones to my friends (probably about 6 year old amps) and they are still booming. One of my friends even used a 35 x 2 brighed to 70 x 1 to push a Fosgate XLC and it was pretty loud!

Similar Products Used:

I haven't ever used anything except Profile. I have had a lot of friends complain about their amps (Sony, Pioneer, etc.) and I tell them to switch to Profile and they love 'em!
