Tons of power. I', going to upgrade to 12" hx2's when I'm finished my next boxm that should increase my spl's a lot.

I picked up rockford as a sponsor this year in my apirations of a national title in my class. I have this 1 amp running 4 10" rockford HX2's, and it absolutely pounds. I have this sub/amp combos in the back of a 1992 honda civic in a hatch and I have all the panels, windows, and it's almost air tight. I have this vehicle pushing 152.4 db and am very impressed. I had 2 15" cerwin vega, vega drivers in the same car running off of a rockford 800a2 and this system totally puts the old one to shame. I have a rocford 800a4 running my mids and highs so when I'm just casually driving the system still sounds good.

Sure there are a million other amps out there that may be better, but for the price you pay for this amp and the power to size ratio of it you can not beat it. This amp runns for hours at high volumes, and I have tested this my rear view mirror dances around so much when I have this thing blasting I have to dock tape it to the frount glass.

none I saw. And as God is my witness I not sponcered by fosgate or any thing of that kind. This amp is just plain good. I'm not making any money telling you this, I just don't want to see hard working people paying outragous prices for amps with fantsy chrome or light that do the same thing.

This bd1000 rocks. I have this amp houcked up to one power Hx2 12" woofer and it is running very easily at 1 ohm mono. I ran this amp at 1 ohm to see if it would shut down. The temperature outside was 108 degrees and inside the trunk where I have it installed according the the therm was 125 degrees. I used the Bass Mekanik CD, and those who are in the car audio field know that the music program on this CD does not mess around. After running it with a stock alternator and stock battery inside a 2000 Toyota corola, the results where as follows. Holy cow this thing got hot and it is supposed to when running under L.A. heat but it did not shot down or any thing else. Specilly I was amazed,because I was using the 10Hz to 45Hz music program and this thing played like it did not care. Long Live Jim Fosgate and his amps.
