These speakers are simply the bomb!!!! I heard them about one month ago, I was goingh to buy the Rockford component 6.5, when I called a local dealer to inquire about the Fosgate he told me ''Rockford is good, but if you want the best, get Focals'' I was stunned I had never heard of Focal, what was this strange French companie? French making dope speakers??? After visiting his store the same day, and hearing them I was shocked and amazed at the shear dopenest of these speakers. I popt some Tupac at the listening station, and heard details on, the ''All Eyez on me'' cd that I had simply never heard, I wondered to myself how this could be, since I had heard that album about 500 times easy, and guys I am not joking, I use to be a serious Audiophile and music fanatic, track after track, the music came out details, powerfull, strong and simply dope!!!!! After testing them I wanted nothing else!!!!

So to my amazement, I found them brand new, on the internet, never installed, the tweeters had been installed, but not the 6 1/2 I was delighted and jump on the opportunity to purchase these monsters!!!!! I could not meet the fellow on the day agreed, so we decided on another day, we met that day and lets just say I had to do some serious speed not to miss out on these babys!!!! After going meeting my uncle at his house who is in engineer for Ford (who is a serious Audiophile whit the best cleanest system I have ever heard) I made him installed these whit 2 Rockford Fosgate amps, both Power series, and 2 12's 1000 watts each maximum. Let me tell you that these babies are just so dope I have problems telling you how really dope they are, this is my first system that I have had the pleasure to build and this is not the last time I will be purchasing Focal, in fact I now want nothing else. Focal truly has ''The spirit of sound''

Incredible clarity

Something is wrong with the manufacturing three sets have cones seperated from surround with moderate listening style.

Focal's are great speakers, sound stage is excellent, highs sweet, and bass beautiful. I have/had Focal's all around, but have continued to blow the front speakers I am on my third pair. I am running JL 500/5 and 300/2. But the cones keep seperating from the surrounds. My only advice is watch out.

The most impressive feature this speaker has is its uncanny ability to set a specatcular sound stage. You can crank them way up and close your eyes and point to the instruments playing. Spectacular.

A bit expensive; but you get what you pay for.

This is not a speaker for the weak. I put a pair of Focal 165 K2P's in front and a pair of Focal 165 V2's in the back and the system is spectacular. The K2Ps have to be the best sound stage setting speaker I have ever heard in a car. They have an incredible dynamic range at high volumes and where other speakers sound desperate, the K2P's say, "give me more." They handle high power well (I'm driving mine with the high-powered side of a JL Audio 450/4) and the cross-overs are precise. I couldn't ask for a better speaker.

Fantastic looks (although mine are unfortunately hidden), wonderful range from highs to lows, clarity second to to nothing and able to handle lot of power with no distortion.

There is no weakness unless you consider the high price. Unfortunately, a lot of consumers will miss out on these awesome speakers because of price. I almost did.

I have been seeking the best quality in car audio for years and have had some pretty quality products. My car audio guy had to really talk me into the Focals at $1500.00 for two pair BUT..... after almost 2 years with these speakers they are best single purchase I have ever made for my car. I can honestly say I do not regret a dollar spent on these Focals and would recommend them to anyone that wants to go to the next level in speakers. I have heard things in my favorite music that I have played for years that I have never heard before. That truly amazed me.

I've been searching a long time to find just the right speaker, one with magnificent highs both subtle and stunning, and one with solid defining midrange and midbass. My first decision was a pair of Mb Quarts PSC 216's. These were great speakers. So many people criticize these speakers for their overly acute and somewhat brittle sound, however, these speakers add a quality to the listening experience that only few components even come close to doing, the K2's being another of them. But, I wasn't satisfied with the lack of midrange characteristic of the Quarts. There is definitely much lacking throughout this frequency range, which is arguably the most important (and most difficult quality to come across in a component speaker) range of music to be heard. My next mistake was to go with the ADS 346is. Yes, they definitely have a strong solid presence in their midrange, enough to clearly see what is lacking in most speakers, but this quality alone doesn't bring the ADS within the realms of a truly breathtaking sound. Finally, the Focals. Well, honestly, I am quite impressed. Everything is here. Vocal presence and solidity are abundantly available, sweet airy defining treble, like the quarts, but polished to a Dynaudio extent, all the while having much more energy. It is such a nice feeling to be satisfied and to know that you have found the perfect speakers.

This speaker is by far te best speaker i have ever heard. the firt second you hear them you hear sound how it should souynd, just like in the studio.

All I can say is that these components are AWESOME. Great sound, great power handling, great imaging, great detail etc. etc. They can play OBSCENELY loud without distorting and still sound good. When I first put my system into my car, I played it so loud for such a long time, that my left ear was ringing for a day. But I enjoyed every minute of that ear damaging experience. They are being run by a JL 300/2 (150w x 2). The whole door is Dynamated with Dynamat Xtreme. I would DEFINITELY recommend these to other people and would DEFINITELY buy them again.
