Strength:

Loud, accurate lows with very little distortion. (I am a bass player, and so I am somewhat overly anal about clarity in the low region)

Weakness:

Expense.

This is a very good sub. I have it in a 1.0 cubic foot sealed box in the trunk of a 1988 BMW 325, driven by a Fosgate 360 (rated at 542 watts at 2 ohms on the amp birth certificate). The only problems I've had with the sub is that it rattled my trunk too much. I put some dynamat on the lid of the trunk, and that helped a lot, but it still rattles. The back dash (which is directly above the sub) is what rattles now. The factory plywood of the dash isn't strong enough, and it rattles against the rear windshield.

Strength:

good sound, doesn't rape your amp

don't buy these at crutchfield. they sound good in a sealed box. I wouldn't put them in a bandpass box. They seem to work great on my explod 1200w amp. don't buy thes if your one of those people who just turn it all the way up without a care in the world for your equipment.

Strength:

sounds okay for somebody who wants one sub in the trunk.

Weakness:

make sure you buy dynammat, if you put this sub in the trunk. dynamat is not cheap stuff.

I had this sub for 2 weeks now, no problems of falling apart on me like some say it does. I played them for 30 hours + on my home reciever at -30 to -25 volume, which is probably putting 110 watts into it. Just make sure you put this Sub in a 1 cubic feet box or slightly smaller, or it will sound boomy and distorted. I have a Rockford Fosgate 400s feeding this sub 415 rms, 800 watts peak.

Strength:

If your stressed on your way home from work, just turn up the sterio and get a free massage!

Weakness:

There is one thing, one surtain music or notes, there is some destortion.

Fu-- yeah, these sub is the Shi-. I have 3 12inch subs in my 2003 Dodge Ram, and is sounds great. Good SQ. I never thought my JBL 1200.1 could push 3 Perfects, but it can, with no problems. I just love when I'm crusing down the street and somebody comes next to me "trying to bump" and then I turn on mine, and just blow them away. But yeah, these are good SQ woofers.

Strength:

Good SQ and pretty loud, lots of watts

Weakness:

the voice coil busted from the cone, held on with crappy glue

This sub sounds really good. But I had some problems. First off, after a few weeks, the voice coil busted off of the cone with only 350 watts to it. I glued the hell out of it and it should be ok. But then I was bumpin and after about 30 minutes I blew the MTX Thunder4250D I had running it (350w max) maybe thats a good thing for the sub, but anyways i got a JBL BP600.1 coming in the mail and that'll be better

Strength:

NO surprise. Great SQ as expected. Breaking it in properly will prolong life of the sub and increase quality of the sound production.

Weakness:

no, this is not a SPL competition sub....who the hell told u that??? ....and to this day....I have never heard a single cerwin vega sub....hmm...interesting

It never seizes to amaze me how some people claim that they can't hear or feel anything from 12" Infinity Perfects. Perhaps they drive a 18 wheeler with "1200" watts B.S. rating amp that provide nothing but clipping and having the wooofer hanging free mid air on the roof. Learn to install properly, and please have some decency and use a non k-mart special, but brand name amp with "real" watts and THD rating.

This is one dam good sub, would recommend it to anyone who is looking for killer SQ in a sub. No need to look any further.

Weakness:

Has none!!!!!! (except)People that don't know what there doing and think that louder is better. When we all know it's about quality sound reproduction.. I'm out later

This sub kicks ass, best sub for the money. The sq is insane, its loud, clear and the bass is the sh__. If you have problems with this sub, obviously you don't know what your doing. So leave the bumpin to those of us that can and know how!!!!! Check it out, anyone who pays $275 for this sub and blows out three of them. Absolutely does not know what he is doing. Here it is in a nut shell I have a friend that has 2 solobaric 12's another of my homies has 2 JL Audio's both are using better power then me or should I say name brand amps to run there subs. I'm running 1200watts of Crunch power from the makers of Hifonics. We all agree Kappa Perfects WINS

Ok first off for the guy who said he blew these up, you didn't give them the recommended power or breakin period. second if you can't feel/hear 140bd then you should go to a doctor. This sub goes low and I mean 18hz low. we have 1 12" perfect on a 450S amp 2ohms 225rms in a honda accord LXI and it makes the rearview mirror move out of place. Not to mention you get a full body massage, and the entire car rattles like it's about to fall apart. Just ordered another, have it in a 2.31 cu ft custom sealed box. after you break it in can take a beating. I suggest to play it where the woofer is hardly moving visibly for 15 hours or more. I have a infinity kappa 12" in my mercedes, alpine cd deck, ads 346im rear speakers ads 246is front speakers powered off a PPI 80x4rms amp and soon to have a rockford 550x to push two perfect 12's
