Strength:

High quality materials (aluminun, poly rubber) low space required, LOUD as hell for 1 12" Great excursion, Plays great on only 300 W RMS

Weakness:

Rumbles so much on the lows your glass and trunk lid will shake like crazy...

LOVE THIS SUB!! It was my first install on my Volvo 240, and didnt want to take up alot of room so i made a sealed 1.25ft box an hooked er up... Plays clean, very loud, an the low end rumble was enough to pop my trunk latch at 45 out of 60 on my HU... If your box is not totally sealed you will get some flutter out of it (as with every sub) so just make sure it well sealed. I only have 300 RMS going to it, an its just brutal for only half the reccomended power.

Strength:

Fun to beat my friend with one 12" as oppposed to their 2 or 3 10" or 12" subs. DEEP STONG They look tight as hell.

Weakness:

Shakes my windows like nuts on the deep notes

So far, it is rediculous how incredible this sub is. I told my friend i had 3 12"s in the trunk and he was like they pound deep. I opened up the trunk and showed him that it was only one 12" Perfect. He couldn't believe it. Niether can I. No Doubt the deepest sub I've ever heard, 18Hz!!! After listening to Ja Rule's Lets Ride, I didn't speak for a while. I had never before heard such rich and deep bass. Overall and incredible sub.

Weakness:

Nothing but glowing praise... this replaced 2 previous pairs of kenwood subs... good for beginners but im gettin more and more serious about this type of stuff.. .the sound quality is rocking.. and the bass itself, well ihave to adjust my mirrors every few days... i never thought i could get a back massage and listen to my music at the same time... thoroughly outstanding!

Strength:

SQ, Power handling, Small box requirements, Aluminum cone and of course BASS, BASS, BASS. The 3 year warranty doesn't heart either.

Weakness:

The only problem that I have experienced with these subs are the tinsel leads. On the early models, they tend to break loose.

I have used these subs for nearly three years now and have always been happy with them. The tinsel leads broke on me a few times but the 3 year warranty took care of that. I just recently placed 2nd at a local db drag race hitting 140.6 db with one 12" Perfect. I beat some dood with one JL12w3 who only hit 133.6 db. I know a lot of people are using sealed boxes about 1-1.5 cubic feet, but I have decided to use the ported box that infinity recommends 1.75 cu. ft with 4 in. dia. port. I would definitely recommend this sub to any one who wants clean tight bass as well as something that will BOOM!!!

Strength:

Bass, Bass, and more Bass to spare and that is just running one sub off a 600 watt amp with the gain set at half

Weakness:

price

I was awestruck. These subs are perfect. I invited my sister out to listen to some music with me and was told that she felt like she was on a ride at at theme park and was feeling a little weird in the stomach. The feeling is unreal I almost think it will shake my car apart, the stereo system being the best part of my 4 banger mustang. Anyway I love the sub it has exceeded my expectations and would reccomend it to anyone who has a little money to put out.

Strength:

Bass, power handling, etc.

Weakness:

What weaknesses?! They're PERFECT!

I have four Perfects - two twelves and two tens - wired to a MTX Thunder 2300X. They hit lower than any other sub I've ever heard. I was a little dismayed at the price tag at first, but after listning to 'em, I knew they were ABSOLUTELY worth every penny. I've had mine for about two years and have never had any problems with them. Without question, this is the best subwoofer you can buy. If you get one, trust me...you will NOT be disappointed.

Strength:

Use in small box, hits very clean, looks nice, has a nice poly aluminum cone, has nice screw down speaker terminals. This is a very nice woofer you can get them for less then 200.00 on ebay brand new. Even though I paid 220.00 for it was worth it and now I have room for groceries :)

Weakness:

None that I know of, just wish I would of found out about these diamonds in the rough sooner

I'm really impressed with this product. I did a taboo thing I bought bcause of the great rating you all gave this product. I was using 2 rfp fosgates dvc(nothing wrong with these) but I didnt have much space behind the 3rd row of my ford expedition(my wife too) So I had to choose on one I thought about 1 orion hcca eclipse (expensive) or 1 fosgate hx2 power dvc. But for the money I wil have to give the infinity props. Known more for their coaxials and stock replacement vehicle openings i was skeptical. But they are clean clean clean they do not distort. I had jl w6s fosgates and I have heard the aluminum eclipse.I put them in a box with 1cub ft( wich infinity recommendss) I push 1 using a hifonics zeus 400 (wich is a great combo for this woofer) and It has a rich sound to it, very comparable to the eclipse alminum. It hits tight clean and deep , I have yet to put it in a vented eclosure, but for you boom boom freak I would be dollars to pesos that this woofer will not disappoint they are alot of bang for the buck

better then jl and fosgate, and just about any other for 300.00 and under can go wrong with the infinty . And yes it live up to its name PERFECT!!!

Strength:

Looks, Hits low. More of a Musical Sub than just a plain bassy sub. It plays everything

Weakness:

BLOWS EASY. But other than that make sure you wear in the sub don't make my mistake and never test a Bass cd that drops your voice coil out.

I read all and every single review for the Perfect 12.1. I was hella impressed about what people had to say. Without even listening or as a matter of fact seeing it I bought one off this Internet site for 170. I only bought one 12 due to the lack of money. I bought a nice JL Audio 500/1 Monoblock Amp to run this bad boy off 4 ohms. I got the amp installed it at my local car audio dealership. I purchased a 1.2 sealed box for it and let them do the install. I was like hell yeah. For the first day I was kinda impressed by it because it hit really low. But the next day I was stupid and did a bass test on it because one of my friends said he had a cd with some good bass on it. Well I tested it and I didn't notice anything wrong with it. But it sounded a little funny and wasn't as loud as all you guys said. I thought well maybe I have to turn the amp up a little. So I took it up there and they told me I had blown my sub. What the Hell exactly what I thought. I had the Perfect for 2 days. But I couln't belive it blow like that in two days. How unfair. So my recomendation is to you all is to not ever ever ever play a bass test cd. Also I also learned you have to wear it in for at least a month. Or else it will blow. I am still a firm beliver after I get another one that this was just a bad apple. Cause I was seriously running the right amout of power and everything else it needed. But to tell you all the truth for as long as I really had it. It hit low as i told you but it didn't hit every note like a ten would. I don't know I was almost gonna go buy a JL W6 with the money I'm gonna get back. But I hope that this next time. I will be more aware. I just can't belive it blew like that. It is the most unfair thing I have ever bought. Spending well over 600 for the amp and plus box plus wires plus install. Then this happen to my sub was just unreal. Seriously all you out there make sure you wear it in. And if you buy an amp of a certain dealer have that dealer do the install so he can mess with the gains and stuff it's a lot of trouble and heart ache to go through. Belive me I am like you guys. I ain't out to diss anyone's stuff. Cause if it sounds good than cool. Buit I wanted diversity and I just can't belive it.
