Strength:

everything!!! 1200rms in a ported box.

Weakness:

We didnt know better and put this sub in a sealed box and it blew the box apart, ripped all the screw holes out. That was our fault tho...

This is the loudest 15 you will ever own for the money. This 15 beats my 3 12" alum1s"s by far!!!! This beast is 10 lbs heavier then a 15" stroker. 300oz magnet

Strength:

very loud

Weakness:

costly, needs alot of space, wattage

ok.. from what i heard.. these are not a sub to dis. who evers dissing them either has not enuff air space or not enuff watts. and when people say they are the best. this is not true in fact.. b/c if any one has heard of DD... digital design. they will redesing the strokers.. no doubt about this. and if u want to step up to the 18''s... the dd "beast" will kill alot and almost any speaker.. www.ddaudio.com.. check it out for ur self.. but cerwin vega storkers.. are nice. but if u get into physics and laws... hcca orion.. lmao.. over 2 inches of ecursin (sp). that moves alot of air.. and if hear.. 156 dbs with a single sub with 1200 watts to it..

Strength:

With the correct enclosure you can get good SPL, decent sound quality, and very hard-hitting bass. The speaker seems to handle anything, even rain and snow that has fallen on the cone.

Weakness:

Not the greatest sound quality, large enclosure recommended for perfomance. Need to have an electrical system that can handle high-output amps.

If you like extreme amounts of bass, this is the sub you need. But you need power to make power. When I first got this sub, all I had was a 300 watt MTX amp, and I thought it rocked! Without even pushing it to it''s potential, I knew I had something here. So now it gets 1500 watts, in the trunk of my Pontiac Bonneville. My rear-view mirror fell off! I love this sub. It pretty much rendered my rear deck 6x9''s useless, so I took them out. I have the ports of the enclosure aimed into the holes where the 6x9''s were. Did I say I love this sub?

Strength:

They hurt my adamsapple, and killed my 42 compitetors at a local DB drag event. Must buy these subs, best sub you can buy for $525!!!!!!!!! Ps If anyone wants some from me, I will sell them for $500/ea if you refer to this post!!!!!

Weakness:

NONE

I installed these two woofers in a ported Dodge Dakota, with one RF BD1500.1 on them. With now voltage regulations except for a 2farad cap, and with two of the 15d4''s hit a 152 first time out! After I add three deep cycle batteries, another amp and a 200 amp alternator, I should have now problem pulling out an 157db! Tell me of another sub that will do that, and i''ll go and buy it.!!!!! For more infor on these subs and a good place to buy them, go to: http://www.potsdam.ny.us/~mark/

Strength:

This sub has an extremely high sensitivity, meaning it doesn't take alot of power to get it loud. It has remarkable power handling capabilites, I am putting 2000+ to each of 2 of them. They are the tighest loudest subs I have had the privelage of hearing/owning/using. In a 4.0ft ported box tuned to 35Hz, they diliver remarkable SQ, better than most sealed subs. Low/Tight/Loud just how I like it. Max power handling is 5000+watts

Weakness:

None

This Product has never let me down. They get remarkably loud while having astounding SQ. They can work anyway you want them to.

Nothing that I have used or heard has compared to ANY of the Vega products I have used, including the Vega series.

Strength:

Loud Loud LOUD!!! Unique looking, can't mistake them for anything else, bass-ically (hee hee) hits harder than anything I have ever dealt with in my life before, relatively clean for a 15"

Weakness:

Can be expensive if bought retail, needs a HUGE box ( roughly 3.5 cu. ft. ported PER SUB), can get sloppy in some places, but tends to keep hits clean

I have 2 15" Strokers chillin' in the back of a 1993 GMC Typhoon, and I'll tell you, they are the loudest things I have ever heard! Each is wired up to one 1000 watt Infinity amp (RMS is 1200 watts), but they hit 156 dB at a recent dB Drag Show. If you want to let your friends know you're coming from about a mile away, these are the subs to use. I managed to find them brand new on eBay for $330 a piece, and they have been nothing but a pleasure to have. Building the TITAN of a box was fun though (sarcasm), as it's about 7 cubic feet of medium density fiberboard, plexiglass, mirrors, and leather. GREAT subwoofers!

Strength:

Pounds like no outher sub. Handels tons of power.

Weakness:

Price, but if you want the best you have to pay for it. Neens large ported box 4+ cu. ft.

I have had this sub for almost two years and I still love it. Lots of bass from one sub. I have a Rockford Fosgate BD1000 on it running 2 ohms, I DB all of the time over 149. Just cant say enough about it!

Strength:

Well, every thing of it rocks, u wont find deeper and intense bass anywhere else, i have tried many others nofin comes near, trust me, this is awsome bass, if u can afford it, have it and u wont like anything else in bass

Weakness:

a very big box needed, u cant imagine in what car i put it in and i had to take tha back seats out for the box, i wasnt able to see at tha back and still i think the box was small , and if u get oen of this, get a powerfull amp, i used a alpine 1507

well nofin comes near it but i wuld reccommend u tu get an 18 inch one, its alot better but space is a big problem, if u dont have alots and lots of space, dont buy it, it will be a waste of money, but after u hear it u wont like anyfin else, so u choooooooooooz.....

Similar Products Used:

nofin comes near, but if want better than this, try the 18 inch one, its better and almost double in bass, i have had both of em in my car, 15 inch one looked a mare joke infront of the 18 inch big bro, if u have the cash go 4 18 inch one but, have a good amp in hand, i used alpine 1507 and it really kiked ass
